good story, interesting, some characters seem 'out of character' at times.  Hope you write more/an ending.

Chapters 1-7: What a terrific story!! I hope you are still continuing it. After everything they have been through, it seems a shame for them to be upset now that she is back from the priestess' and she throws Spock out of the meld. Though he has been an angel through all of this. And I hope he remembers that dark spot in her mind that she couldn't explain. I'll bet that's a clue to all the wierdness around her. Was it really the Star Fleet that was kidnapping her and killing their sons? Shouldn't they try and find their bodies to lay them to rest instead of being on display like animals? Onyx eyes? Hmmm maybe that was the
    'dark spot" acting up.

Interesting visit to the roots of fanfiction as a genre. The first chapter has some annoying typos ;ike starred instead of stared and barred instead of bared.

I would also expect that onboard the Enterprise, Federation laws about civil rights would overrule Vulcan rights, as Spock would not have anything like diplomatic immunity after he swore an oath as a starfleet officer. I can understand him being 'dane bramaged' by the ponn farr, but doesn't he have any non-Romulan convictions when he recovers?

I also admit the chapter length being that many thousands of words was off-putting so I doubt I will read chapter two.

I love this story! I can tell how much research about Vulcan that you've done and filled in the rest with very 'logical' actions. Can't wait for the next chapter.
