Wow, that was fantastic. I usually don't like AU stories at all, but I could tell from the first few passages that yours would definitely be worth reading. And was it ever. You stayed completely true to the Max and Fran (and Niles and CC!) that we know and love, and the story was woven beautifully. Amazing work!
