    Woah. This is beautifully intense and perfectly fucked-up. I adore the interior monologues of both characters as they try and simply DEAL. I also connected with the irrational and misdirected feelings of hatred someone can blame on another person (while no-so-subconciously realizing you really just hate yourself). I especially enjoy your take on Alex's character; the anger and frustration seeping out as if a pressure valve had been turned, and her refusal to become a cliche/her mother. Lovely. ~M
