Oh God, please fix the OOCness. Oh please. It's rather painful. The series you are taking the characters from would honestly provide an interesting fic. In fact, if you found a damn good plot and need for the cross-over, this could possibly be on the best AU/AR fic out there, the combinations are damn near endless. Maybe Jack joins the SGC or maybe the SGC crosses Torchwood, since UNIT's destruction... And if Aliens are involved, the Doctor should be watching...

Hell. Maybe the SGC uncovers a dalek ship parts some Go'auld was trying to figure out. Dalek anything trips off a Torchwood detection (maybe the thing-a-mabob still works...?) And the Doctor slides in to investigate and is mistaken for NID? I wonder what Dr. Jackson would think of him...? Anywho. With such rich canon AU's, I know there is something better to grab the Doctor's attention than Jack's heart breaking. These are important people. The 9th Doctor LEFT Rose's place because her friends and family were being too 'human' talking about petty, small things in stead of the fact that aliens had crash-landed on earth. I don't think heart-ache is going to grab the Doctor's attention too well. He's more save-the-world than shoulder-to-cry-on. Even the 10th one.

    Just sayin'.

In character is good. Plot is good. Motivation is good. You got LOTS to play with. Plot it out, add some serious description, and make it cohesive. And in character. You've got one hell of a fertile ground to play with.

    So go play with it.

Amazing! That's pretty much all I can say. I was completely entranced by your story. You've taken characters from three of my favorite fandoms (maybe four if you continue it and have a scene at Atlantis?), and managed to create a story that's actually making sense to me. I truly enjoyed your portrayal of Owen actually understanding Jack's position in Torchwood and what he's been through, as well as Jack's feelings for each of his teammates (ie Tosh being a little sister to him). I do feel a little bad for Owen though, getting left behind with an empty Torchwood 3 and no team. I was a little surprised that JAck was so unable to pull himself together, but I suppose that what he was experiencing would take a toll on anyone.

Anyhow, I apologize for rambling. In brief- I love your story and hope to eventually find more of it. Great fandoms, great characters, intriguing plot, and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.

Love the story! Does need a little editing but you're doing good on your own! i wish i could beta for ya but I got enough on my plate already and plus I don't think I'd make a very good beta. But anyway, um when are you going to update this story???
