Very well done... nice handling of some very difficult and disturbing material.

For those who don't know, the idea behind "Tru Calling" is that Tru Davies (played by Eliza Dushku, the actress who played "Faith" on Buffy / Angel) is special: every so often a dead person will seem to turn their heads, look at Tru, and say "Help me" (or perhaps "Save her", or something similar). Immediately, time rewinds, and Tru is waking up the morning of the person's deaths, but with a complete memory of everything that happend to Tru "the first time." She has a chance to track the (now living) person down, and stop their death (or, occasionally, save someone else).

The new wrinkle inserted at the end of the first season is that Tru's mother had the same gift. Tru's mother died, and we find out that she was killed by her husband, Tru's father, because he is, apparently, an "anti-Tru", someone dedicated to making sure that the dead stay dead, "preserving the natural order" as they see it. Tru meets someone who is another "anti-Tru." Tru is unaware that this person and her father are connected, or that her father knows anything about any of this. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled before this story could have been taken any further. Fortunately, we still have fanfic.

It is true, the children are the worst. Babys are the worst of all. Everyone has problems with childrem dying, its like this shouldn't happen, you've only just started life, why are you here at the end already? What I would do to child abusers couldn't even be printed on Adult Fanfiction
You're writing is gripping, keeps you glued to the end. the there be more?
