I like this pairing and Lex' obsession, but I miss some characterisation - like reasons why exactly Lex falls for Chloe ("she's clever" is a bit too obvious, and she's certainly not the first smart woman Lex met). Towards the end, Chloe seems to swerve from "mad at Lex" to "shagging him" without discernable reasons for that change. And there are a number of typos and grammar mistakes - I think betaing would help to get rid of such avoidable mistakes.
