    Since she's so new, there aren't many out there yet. I've had the same problem trying to find some. I did find an old Daniel/Vala story that is from season 8, when Vala's character first appeared. It was episode 12, I think, called "Promethus Unbound." But the fic I'm thinking about it is titled, "Daniel Jackson Unbound" but I don't remember who the author was. You could do a google search for this, or you could search for the Isis Awards website, which is for fics with 'ships that aren't Jack/Sam, and I know I saw the Daniel Jackson Unbound there. You have to search under nominees or winners and then under the subcategor or Daniel/Other or Daniel/OC.

    Also, if you were to go to Livejournal.com, and in the top-right corner of the page, type in Vala and then have it search under INTEREST, and that will give you several results. Now, I haven't explored all of the search results yet, but if you to the first or second one listed called daniel__vala (or something similar to that), you will go to that community's lj page which is devoted to all things daniel/vala! To find the fanfics, you just read the entries, to see if someone has posted a fic, and click on the link (usually it just takes you to the author's homepage), and then you are all set!

    One more fic I've found: if you go to fanfiction.net (just the reg. one - not this adult one), and click on the TV SHOWS category, then from there, click on the sub-category of Stargate SG-1 it will take you to a page of stargate stories archived there. Once there on that page, you will see on the right side of the screen, toward the top of the page, a series of options for you like what ratings you want, languages, story type, etc. You can also choose what character or characters you want, and last week, they added Vala's name to the list. So click on it, and then push the little GO button, and unfortunetly, you will only get one result (as of yesturday, so someone could have added more). I can't remember the exact title, but it had thief in it.

    So, as you can see, I've have been searching everywhere for fics with this pairing. I wasn't sure how familar you were to all of these sites, so that's why I described all the steps. If you don't need all the steps and directions, that's fine, and I was also writing them for anyone else who might be interested in this pairing as well, and come looking to see if anyone found anything.
