I think this is easily the best Clark/Lex story I've read, for its beautiful imagery and the sense of irony that you get that Clark seems darker and moodier than Lex in this, for a change, until you reach the end of the story. I love seeing Lex written as vulnerable instead of a megalomaniac. It reminds me of the episode of the show when Lex was playing the piano, which wasn't my favorite episode, but it was my favorite scene. So much of the time Lex is meddling in Clark's personal affairs without permission, so it was heartwarming to see him asking Clark if he could touch him. Great job.
