Beautifully written, makes one really feel for Boomer. I think we've all felt pangs of jealousy or envy of somebody elses relationship or friendship. Well done.

Great story, really brought the charaters to life.

This is a very good story. Your character voice is right on, your description of the characters' relationships sounds very realistic, and your ending caught me totally by surprise. I was so deep into Boomer's viewpoint by that time that my heart actually ached for him. Typically, I'm not a big fan of character pieces, but your take on the Apollo/Starbuck/Boomer triumvirate is so unique and well-written that I truly enjoyed this piece. I will have to look for more of your stories in the future.
