very good chapter. I liked how you pointed out that half of the crew had less than perfect records, and that half of the crew could easily land in jail.
Not many people think of that. but at any rate, that'll keep readers wondering what will happen at the end, myself inducded.

This is really good, enough so that I check back every couple of days to see if you've updated. I like how you're not rushing Chak and Tom together. Good angst, and kudos on bringing in Harry's clarinet. It is too often ignored as one of his source's of comfort. I'm looking forward to more.
