I'm familiar with your other stories, and I really think you have a great knack for characterization. Having said that, this fic sort of puzzled me. It felt like smut for smut's sake and left me a little cold. There's a growing number of readers in this fandom who like to fawn all over any NC-17 story involving Grissom and Sara, regardless of how in character the plot of the story is. Therefore, a lot of talented writers are writing those kinds of fics and abandoning the tamer, often more in character fics. Let me be clear--there was NOTHING wrong with your story--your writing is great, and I enjoyed it! I just think I've read more believable stories from you. Thanks for sharing this!
