I thought your characterization of both Pullo and Verenus were dead on accurate. Pullo is especially delicious here, very much his wicked self. I could definitely see something like this happening during the first season- too bad it didn't! Great job!

Great fic absolute love for Titus and Pullo and there just isn't enough fic for this series. I hope you do a follow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this fic first on the Rome archive ( http://rome.paperpilots.net in case you didn't know ) and there was no e-mail address for me to review to, though I really wanted to, because this is divine. A really wonderful piece, you've got such a flare for the characters. Lovely, delightful stuff. Excellent job.
