Okay. This is now the third time I have read this story. I can actually see it in my head. I love it. I love that I can hear Mal speak and see her reaction. I will probably come back and read this again.

I do have this to say though, and take it as you will. This is the first time I have ever continued to read a story after the formatting has gone wonky. I don't know if it is you or aff, but there are no spaces between the paragraphs. Normally, I jump right out of that. But I honestly didn't notice it until this reading, your story is that good. Just a recommendation, if you will, fix up the formatting, and the lack of capitals at the beginning of your sentences, and I will read this story again...and again...and again...and again...

I wish you'd slowed down the action just a little more, though. It felt rushed.
You might also want to double space between your paragraphs. It's kind of crunched. But I adored it. I always thought there could be something between Kaylee and Mal, except that Inara really really would NOT take it very well.

I really like this story. It's so sweet. I like Mal/Kaylee together. I really love Jayne/Kaylee best. I hope you will write one. I would enjoy reading one that was writen by you.
