Being a fan of both River and Jayne, I definitley enyoyed this 'fic. Simon Tam would have a heart attack if he walked in on these two! In the episode "Objects In Space" J. Early asked Simon if River grapples with any of the crew; maybe that's how you got the idea for this story? Also, I'm curious as to how the liasons in Painless first began (a story for a sequel 'fic, perhaps?). I think the idea that any couple stuck together for long periods of time on a spaceship would be dysfunctional is interesting and realistic. Lastly, Janyne isn't the most open/candid person, but River's telepathy compensates. Thanks for Painless.

Hmmm...could stand to hear more about their love life, but I really liked River just punching him in the face. Sometimes I think that must be the only way to get through to Jayne!

A little short for my taste but well written. Very romantic.

Nice and shiny and gorram good! I like the big strong Jayne with the small and seemingly fragile River (but the BDM taught us how strong she really is, eh?) This is a lovely fic, just needs to be longer. Got more? Please?
