great update! I have read several "Lex as Clarks guardian" before, but you taking as the reason the Kents abusing (nearly) a new twist :)

i really enjoy this fic. i've never read a lex/clark guardian piece before. you write it really well and i love the idea of lex making sure clark studies hard and the fact that he is finally able to splash some cash on him. the whole idea of lex getting a new father figure is intriguing, just make sure clark doesn't get neglected! update soon

Oh, wow.....what a story! Each chapter introducing new variables into the compelling mix already there. Martha's cunning nature appealling to Lionel; what a future step-monster! Love Clark and Lex together. I must say that I was really hesistant about Lex's nicknames but now I really like how they expose his often unseen caring personality. I really hope you continue soon!

And here I was thinking that it was going to be a lex and clark story like all the others.
AND IT ISN'T.
I love this story. I hope that you will continue it. I also hope to see if Lex decides to walk on the wild side and
choose to leave Lionel and all his rude coments behind.
