Very nice peek into the mind of Dean. Like the contrast between being the good son vs the favored. You do get a sense of this from the show.

What a great little look into the head of Dean Winchester?! This was very sweet. Great job.

I like this and it rings true; who is to say that Dean never wanted a little more? The normal life, with a wife and kids and the whole nine yeards just like Sam wanted, but gave up his dreams to be a good son. Sam always assumes that Dean loves hunting but do we ever see him ask if Dean wanted something else?

Nope. Beautiful and bittersweet. Loved it.
