I was a big fan of Xena Warrior Princess but it's been awhile since I saw the show and/or read some fiction about it. This story reminded me why I liked the show. I think you were able to portray the characters very well and I found myself wanting Xena and Gabrielle to get together on an emotional level as well as a physical one.

I love the way that Xena and Gabrielle were both secretly in love with each other and both too afraid of rejection to say anything. This is a really sweet story and I highly recommend it.
