For a first time fanfiction writer it was a wonderful one-shot. I encurage you highly to write more, and will keep an eye out for it.
I think that if you are going to continue the story you are going to ither be omnipotent and give Casey's perspective, or have her tell Derek point-blank what she is feeling/thinking.
