Oh, my, god! I can't even describe the emotions that this story stirred within me. This may be THE most heartwrenching X/A fic I have ever read. I may never recover. Thank you!

Ok, sorry it's taken me so long to review this LK! It's Obsidian Bard aka Jess btw. I loved this. I often thought if Ares had conquered Xena, this is what would happen.
Xena lets out a long, shuddering breath. He is almost afraid to look at her face; and with good reason, because when he looks, she’s crying, huge tears welling in her eyes and rolling down her cheeks.
