I've read up to chapter 12, and there's so many good things about this piece. Your characterization is superb, the amount of description put in is a good balance, neither too much nor too little, and the action scenes are well done. The pacing can be a bit slow at times, but overall I'll keep reading until the conclusion, because your writing just draws me in.

Totally didn't see that one coming! Now I can't wait to see what happens next.
