Aww! I'm glad I checked your author profile. This is a nice (albeit dark) follow up story to SoS, and even without that one it's a decent stand alone story. I myself have gone slightly mad on occasion when unable to get a response from the hubby when he's away, although luckily I don't have our detective's drug problem, so I can very much relate, and also understand John's frustration when arriving home. Good story! ~LG

Beautifully written! I greatly enjoyed it, despite its dark themes.
