Notes: Variations on a theme, just in another fandom - I'm suffering from a villanelle addiction these days, it's an amazing poetic form to play with... The two lines I used are actually the opening couplet to the spoken intro track 'Desire' on Heart's 'Desire Walks On' album...

for the taste of first kisses hot and sweet.

now prove to have been the hunt - advance, retreat, advance, retreat...
