It was a Friday night like any other. Instead of going out like normal couples
do, Dr. Gregory House and Dr. James Wilson were spending their night in front of
the TV. House, or course, had the remote in his hand. Using the useful features
of cable to see what was on other channels without changing it from the baseball
game he was currently watching. Wilson was looking at the guide, seeing if there
was anything he wanted to see on the long list of channels. If he wasn't

They were sitting on opposite ends of House's oddly small leather couch. About a

misread the insistent nudging House was doing with his foot and started

laughed at that before he went back to studying the guide. After a minute Wilson spotted
something he wanted to see.
"Turn to NBC. I want to watch Leno." Wilson said.

too early."
"So, we watch the news for a while. You have something better to watch?" Wilson asked.
"Sarah Silverman is coming on."
"That show is crap and so is she." Wilson said bitterly. "Gives Jews a bad
name."
"Easy on the tootsies, hun." House said and flexed his foot to get Wilson to
loosen his tightening grip. Something about Silverman really pissed him off.
"You've had the remote all night. Hand it over." Wilson demanded as he held
his hand out. House waved the remote a little before he gripped it in one hand.
"No." House said flatly. Wilson made a sound like he had just been insulted.
House smirked. It was always fun to play with him. Especially when he didn't
realized what House was doing. He'd catch on in a minute though.
"How are you going to tell me no!? It's my TV!" Wilson said. He suddenly
lounged at House and reached for the remote. House put his free hand in his
face, and used the knee on his left leg to keep Wilson at bay.
"Think you can get the drop on me?" House said as he struggled with Wilson's
flailing. House was used to this game. They've played it ever since they met. Of
