A/N Yes this story starts off slowly, but We promise that this story will get VERY interesting by Chapter 3 we just wanted to have a nice set up please hang on and give it a chance good things come to those who wait... which luckly won't be too long :)
Chapter 1“Oh my god, is that Rachel and Quinn?” Brittany runs off as Santana rolls her eyes and takes off after her girlfriend. It couldn’t be after all this time, She sees Brittany throw her arms around someone. This time around Brittany is actually hugging Rachel as opposed to the two scared strangers on the street. Brittany Then hugs Quinn.
“Hey stranger long time no see, it’s only been what 5 years?” Quinn says to Santana pulling her into a hug. “Hey Rachel, I see you’ve lost the man hands” Santana says grinning as she hugs Rachel. “Ahhhh, Santana’s still a bitch, some things never change” Rachel says with a grin. “Please sit, we’ve got A LOT to talk about.” Santana and Brittany take a seat across from the other two and order 4 margaritas. “So what have you guys been up to since you left Lima? Obviously you’re still together” Rachel says with a smile. “Well Brittany is teaching dancing and I’m a bartender. Glad to see you two finally got together.” Santana jokes reminiscing on sectionals all those years ago. “Actually,” Quinn says with a smile before leaning over and kissing Rachel heatedly. Santana’s jaw drops. “You two are lebanese too” Brittany says unable to contain herself. Rachel’s cheeks flush as she nods. “Yeah,” Quinn says, “we moved in together when Kurt didn’t get into NYADA. And one thing led to another and now we’ve been together for 3 years” “Three years, two months and one day.” Rachel reminds Quinn patting her hand gently. “Jesus, Rachel do you have the hours, minutes, and seconds memorized too” Santana says rolling her eyes. The drinks arrive and Santana quickly grabs hers and takes a sip, almost spitting it on the table. “Ok New Yorkers CANNOT mix drinks, we may as well just drink straight tequila” Rachel winces at the idea “Oh I see someone is still a lightweight.” Rachel glares at Santana stops the waiter “Four straight tequilas don’t forget the lime” Rachel orders still glaring at Santana who sits there with a smug look. Brittany and Quinn look at each other eyes rolling knowing it’s going to be a long night. The waiter returns and pours the shots “Leave the bottle” Rachel says as she grabs it, shooting Santana a challenging look. The bottle is ¾’s full. “I’ll bring you more lime wedges” The waiter says unsure of what’s going on. Rachel hands out the drinks and limes Rachel looks into Santana’s eyes and says “To old friends and old rivalries” They all clink their glasses and shoot.45 minutes later the bottle is empty and Quinn is calling a cab. Rachel stands up and quickly falls back in her chair.
“You guys,” Rachel slurs pointing across the table at the air in between Santana and Brittany. “You guys… are coming… back to our apartment.” Brittany drunkenly giggles and looks at Santana who says “ok, we still have more catching up to do” Quinn who is obviously the most sober of the group just smiles and nods. “You guy’s the cab is here.” Quinn slurs.
