Clark held Vesta hand while the antidote rushed through her veins .
“ Mr. Kent it will take a few minutes for the antidote to take affect after I administer it”.
The green Substance was making him weak .
"Mr. Kent are you okay?” .
Clark I think this has been so overwhelming to you”.
You’d better sit down”.
“ Chloe your right I’d better sit down”.
Lana was on the other side of the bed holding her other hand.
“ Come on sweetheart you have to pull through”.
“ I’ll be going now”, said the nurse .
Chloe followed behind her .
“ I’m going to give your Mom , and Lois an update”.
She kissed his cheek .
A few minutes later she started to wake up.
“ Daddy” the word was very faint.
“ I’m here sweetheart”.
She looked over at Lana .
“ Mommy”
A tear form in the corner of Lana’s eye .
“ Clark she is going to be okay”.
“. Vesta than notice the I. V going into the her arm .
She started to panic.
She was having flash backs of when she was at Lex Corp.
“ Daddy take it out!” she screamed .
Martha ,Lois and Chloe came running into the room.
Lana was trying to keep her from pulling it out of her arm.
“ Vesta it will make you better” ,Clark said.
“ Please daddy I don’t like it”.
She began to thrash in the bed.
Lana tryed to get her under control.
Martha walked over to her bed .
Vesta Emerald Kent if you don’t lay back , and behave when you get out of this hospital bed I’m going to spank your bottom”.
Vesta was in shock, but she settled down.
They all looked at Martha.
“ I didn’t take that kind of crap from your daddy when he was your age , and I’m not about to take it from you, so, you better laid back ,and keep the I, V in your arm!”
Vesta looked at Clark .
“ Sweetheart you had an allergic to the sucker”.
“ It was tainted with Red K. .
Dr. Billingsley walked into room.
“ How’s the little Patient doing”?
“ She okay she just freaked when she saw the IV”, said Lana.
“ Well that is understandable, and there is one more thing we’ll have to keep her in the hospital for observation for the next few days”.
“ If she need anything just call the nurses station”.
“ Thank you Dr.”, said Clark giving him a firm hand shake.
“ I will never by any candy from that place again”., said Lois.
Clark , and Martha stepped out of the room .
“ Mom I’ve never been so scared”.
“Vesta is just so little”.
“ She could of died” .
“ Clark she is still alive, and that is what counts”.
“ I know mom”.
She smiled , and they went back in the room”.
Vesta was already sitting up”.
“ Daddy I just talked to Author on the phone.”
“ He said he’ll give me swimming lesson when get I out of the hospital.”
“ Okay sweetheart”.
A week passed by Clark , and Lana stayed in shifts until Saturday morning when Vesta was release from the hospital with a clean bill of health.
