Chapter 12
Rick woke up and wondered why he was on the ground in the play room. He then remembered that Carl was being attacked by Matt. The room was empty and Carl was missing again. He got up and held his head. It felt like he was hit with a hammer. He ran out of the room yelling for help.
"Everyone get up! Matt took Carl! Matt was the guy we were looking for before." Rick yelled
He heard the doors open and then heard them running to him. They all looked tired and worried. Michonne and Daryl looked around but when they didn't see Carl or Matt, he knew Rick was telling the truth.
"What happened? I thought we killed the guy that took Carl the first time?" Glenn asked
"It turns out that Matt was the one that did it. He has Carl now and I don't know how long he had before I woke up. He knocked me out with his knife. We check this hotel top to bottom. After you check the room leave the door open so we know you checked it." Rick said
Everyone then went and did what was asked of them.

Matt had found the room he was looking for and went in. It had taken him sometime to set up the room and make sure it was secured. He placed Carl on the bed and then placed a fake wall in front of the door so when they walked by, it looked like part of the wall. He then locked the door and put up sound proof padding around the door. After that was finished he went to Carl and stripped him only leaving him in his boxers. He took his hands and placed straps on them and did the same to his feet. After that he took small chains and connected them to the straps so when he woke up he would be on all fours like a dog. He wouldn't be able to stand up. He then took a hole gag and put it in his mouth and strapped it to the back if Carl's head to keep his mouth wide open. He placed a caller around Carl's neck and then hooked a small dog leash to it. After that he picked Carl up and placed him in a small closet and tied the end of the leash to a lock hook on the wall. He then closed the door and waited for him to wake up.
He heard doors open and then them yelling for Carl but knew he wouldn't be found. After a while they left the hallway and looked somewhere else. When he heard movement from the closest he got up and opened the door.
Carl looked at Matt and tried to move away but the leash stopped him. Matt walked in the closet and slapped Carl hard across the face making Carl whimper.
"This time you won't be getting away and I won't take it easy on you."
Carl watched as Matt pulled his pants down and grabbed his face. He tried to fight Matt but he couldn't kick or hit him. He felt the penis push in and then Matt moved Carl's head back and forth. When he was ready to cum he pushed deep down his throat and held it there, forcing Carl to swallow. Once he did Matt was coming fast. After Matt was finished he pulled out and pushed Carl to the floor.
While Matt was busy trying to get Carl in a position to rape him, Carl heard his dad in the hallway coming close to him. Carl screamed as load as he could but his dad didn't seem to hear him. So he used the wall and started kicking it like a dog would. Matt saw that and tried to stop him but it was already too late.
"CARL!" Rick yelled banging on the wall until he found the fake one
Matt hurried and unlocked Carl and grabbed him up. He took the gag off and then held a knife to his throat. Carl tried to get away but he still had the leash on.
"Get walking boy."
"My dad won't let you leave with me. You better run while you can." Carl snapped
"Shut up I will be taking you again. I won't let you go."
The door busted open and everyone was there. Rick had his red handle knife and Daryl had his bow, while Michonne had her long sward.
"Let Carl go and we will make it quick, if you don't then you'll be sorry." Rick said
"I won't give up the boy, I will have him and you will let us leave." Matt said holding the knife tighter on Carl's skin
Carl knew he had one chance at doing something since he wasn't going to go with Matt. He lifted his leg up and kicked him hard in the balls. He was let go instantly and ran to his dad. His dad grabbed him in a hug and then pushed him behind. Rick went up to Matt and started punching him. The rest joined in until the face wasn't recognized anymore. After that Rick took his knife and stabbed him in the groin. Michonne then sliced his arms off. Daryl took his cross bow and shot his arrow in to Matt's stomach. When everyone was done torturing Matt, Carl walked over.
"I told you not to hurt me or my dad would make you pay. You should have let me leave when you got the chance."
Michonne then took Carl out of the room and that's when Rick used the red handle knife to cut Matt's throat nice and slow. After that he stabbed him in the head. When it was all over with they took the body and burned it out in the woods. Rick found Carl up in their room looking at Judith sleeping in the playpen. He had taken a shower and put knew clothes on but his hair was dripping wet.
"Are you alright?" Rick asked
"Yeah I'm just glad it's finally over and I don't have to go through that again. Thanks dad for saving me. I didn't know what else to do and I didn't want that to happen again." Carl cried holding on to Rick
"I'm glad you are ok. I will try my best to keep the two of you safe."
Rick then carried Carl to the bed and they both lied down and went to sleep. Now that the treat was gone they didn't have to worry about anything for now.

A week later Carl woke up in a good mood, He had slept the whole night and was feeling good. His dad was up feeding his sister and heard Michonne talking.
"Hey there sleepy head, how are you doing?" Michonne asked when Carl walked out
"Much better now and I get to work outside with the others. Daryl said he would teach me to use the cross bow and how to track." Carl smiled
"I want you to be careful though and no over doing yourself. If you get tired you better tell him and then get back inside." Rick ordered
"I will dad, I promise." Carl then gave Rick, Judith and Michonne a hug before running off to find Daryl
"He seems to be getting better. How are the nightmares?"
"He doesn't seem to have them as much now. He slept throw the night just fine. He still sleeps with us but that will change when he gets comfortable by himself. We are just taking it one day at a time." Rick said
"I'm happy that he is moving on. He looks just like the happy kid he was before all this happened. He will be just fine." Michonne said taking Judith
They knew what ever came their way they would be able to fight it as a family, a weird looking family but a family none the less.
