Three days later Natalie came to the hospital to pick Liam up. “Where’s Dean?” he asked.
“There’s a vampire in Albany, New York,” she answered. “A normal one,” she smirked. “Anyway, he said to tell you he loves you, and he borrowed your silver knife.”
Liam shrugged. “Fucking up vampires is what it’s for. At least someone can get some use out of it.”
“Did staying here help you any?” she asked while she wheeled him out to the car.
“Maybe I guess. Talking about the stuff I can talk about with a professional was cathartic. Still depressed as all hell though.”
“That’s what the medication is for, sweetie.”
“No. I took that shit while in here to shut them up, but I am not taking happy pills!”
“Yes, you are.” She stopped the wheelchair and knelt down to look at him. “Liam, you are so depressed you tried to kill yourself. Those of us who love you are really worried about you. Dr. Shaffer thinks it might be clinical at this point and that medication might help you. I think that after everything we’ve invested in you, you owe it to us to help yourself a little bit.”
Liam sighed deeply and let his head fall back. “Fine. You win.”
“Good boy,” she kissed his cheek and stood up to wheel him the rest of the way out. “And just so you know, anything you could possibly use to try it again is going to be kept out of your reach for a while.”
An orderly came out to help get him in the car and they drove to the pharmacy before going home. Martha was waiting to get him in the house. “How are you doing, honey?” she asked.
Liam shrugged. “Wishing Dean hadn’t woken up till morning.”
“Honey, you don’t mean that,” she frowned.
“Yeah, I kinda do,” he sighed.
“You wanna play cards until bedtime?”
“Might as well. What else am I gonna do, watch TV?”
Natalie played with them until it was time for bed. Natalie tucked him in and kissed his forehead before going herself. He went to sleep and was shaken awake sometime in the middle of the night. The older blond man that had tried to kill Sam a little while back was standing over him pointing a gun at him. “Get up!” he barked.
Liam sighed. “You might as well shoot me because I fucking can’t. I had an accident and broke both my legs like two weeks ago. So either shoot me or go away before I scream for help.”
“Unbelievable,” the guy shook his head and put a gag on Liam.
Liam was carried out and tossed in the back of a black van. He was driven to an abandoned warehouse and carried inside and was thrown onto a mattress. “Guess I don’t have to tie you up because you can’t go anywhere under your own power.”
“If your ultimate goal is to kill Sam, why the hell are you bothering with me?” Liam asked when the gag was removed.
“Gordon is hunting them, but he needs insurance just in case. That’s where you come in.”
In the morning Dean received a frantic call from Natalie. “Liam is gone!” she cried.
“What? Where in the hell could he have gone and how? The guy can’t walk.”
“I don’t know, but the alarm was disabled. Whoever it was got the security cameras too. All I can tell you is it was a man driving a black van.”
“Son of a bitch!”
Later in the afternoon Dean met back up with Sam in their motel room. “Gordon has a friend who’s got Liam.”
“Seriously?” Sam rubbed his face and sighed.
“Seriously. Natalie called me this morning to tell me Liam was gone, the alarm was disabled, and so were the cameras after they caught a black van. Whoever it was knew what they were doing.”
“How did they even find him?”
Dean shrugged. “Gordon has his ways. And Liam is not in a good place right now to keep himself alive.”
“What do we do now?”
“I don’t know, Sam. I guess we stick to plan to kill Gordon, then run like hell back to Memphis and pray we find Liam before he’s killed.”
At sundown Gordon called Dean. Dean hung up the phone and groaned. “What?” Sam asked.
“Gordon has a hostage at a warehouse. We’ve got until nine tomorrow morning to go kill him and then get our asses back to Memphis to find Liam before he winds up with a bullet in his head.”
“Why nine?”
“Because Gordon told me his friend has instructions that if he doesn’t hear from the jackass by nine every morning he’s supposed to kill Liam.”
“Dude, that’s impossible! We would’ve had to leave like an hour ago to make it.”
“I know.” A tear slid down Dean’s cheek. “That son of a bitch is making me choose between you and Liam. But I can’t Sam. You both mean the world to me, so here’s what we’re going to do. You’re going to leave for Memphis now and we’re going to pray to God Gordon’s friend waits a little while. I’ll deal with Gordon.”
“Dean, no! I’m not leaving you here to get yourself killed! He’s a vampire now, it’s gonna take both of us.”
“Sammy, I’m not arguing with you about this. Go! Now!” He roughly grabbed Sam by the jacket, pressed the keys to the Impala into his hand, and shoved him toward the door.
“Dean, I...” Sam sighed. “Just be careful,” he shook his head and left.
The next morning Liam was still on the mattress in the warehouse. The guy holding him looked at the clock on the wall, the minute hand was just past nine. He looked to his silent phone sitting on a little table and shook his head. “See, now I’ve got an ethical dilemma.”
“Oh, and what would that be?” Liam sighed and propped himself up on his arms.
“Gordon gave me very specific instructions. If he doesn’t call by nine I’m supposed to put a bullet in your brain. As you can see, it’s past nine, and he hasn’t called. I’m sorry to tell you that means your boyfriend chose his brother over you. Anyhow, the Bible says thou shalt not kill. Now, there’s a good reason to kill Sam, he’s evil. But you… You’re a human being caught in the crossfire. You’re a fellow hunter. I know you killed my friend, but I understand that was just out of some twisted loyalty to Sam. It took a little while, but I forgave you for that. You were just supposed to be insurance, and when Sam was dead I was gonna let you go. Now I don’t know what to do.”
“Here’s a crazy, out there idea. Let me go anyway. I’d hate to have to force you to defy the Bible. And if Gordon wants you to, well, then he clearly isn’t a very good friend. So, tell me where in the hell I am, give me a phone, and get out of here. I’ll just call someone to come get me, and we both win.”
“No. If Gordon isn’t calling that means he’s dead. If Gordon is dead then Sam is probably still out there very much alive. I think you just went from insurance to bait.” He grabbed a cold microwave burrito off the table and tossed it to Liam. “I’m sure you’re hungry by now.”
“Oh, yay, a cold burrito,” Liam said sarcastically.
“Well, if you don’t want it...” the man reached to take it away.
Liam held it protectively to his chest. “If this is all you’re gonna give me, hell yeah I want it. I haven’t eaten since the day before yesterday. I’m starving. Hand me one of those sodas too if you don’t mind.” The man went over to a little red cooler and grabbed a soda out of it, handing it to Liam. “Thanks. You know what I think?” Liam said as he opened the burrito package and took a bite. “I think if you can spend two minutes with Sam and you still think he’s evil, you’re even crazier than I am, and believe me, that’s saying something.”
“Well, I don’t care what you think. Gordon told me some demon hand picked that kid to lead his army. I was skeptical at first, but then God led me right to him that day I almost got the both of you.”
Liam laughed. “That wasn’t God, you moron, that was a cursed rabbit’s foot. Poor guy had some serious bad luck that day.” Liam finished the burrito and opened the soda, taking a few gulps and burping rather loudly. “That’s better. I’m serious, just spend five minutes alone with the guy and judge for yourself. Don’t take this Gordon idiot’s word for it.”
The guy picked up his phone and dialed. “Hello, pretty lady. I need you to get a message to Sam. If he or his brother ever wants to see the mouthy blond alive again he needs to come alone to the old warehouse on Riverside Drive. If I see any sign of anyone else with him the blond is dead. One second.” He put the phone to Liam’s ear. “Speak.”
“Hi, Natalie.”
“Oh, god, Liam, are you okay?”
“As okay as I can be lying on a mattress in a warehouse being fed a cold burrito.”
“It’s gonna be okay. Sam will come for you.”
“No. Tell him bad idea. This guy-” the phone was pulled away and Liam sighed.
“There’s your proof of life,” the guy said and hung up. “You know, I admire you wanting to give your life for your friend. True loyalty is a rare thing these days. That’s gonna make it a little harder to pull the trigger on you if he doesn’t show.”
“Oh, we both know he’ll show,” Liam said as he let himself fall back on the mattress to stare at the ceiling some more.
About an hour and a half passed when they both heard a noise coming from behind the warehouse. “I think he’s here,” the man got a wide grin on his face.
“I think you’re right,” Liam shook his head.
A minute later Sam appeared by the back door. “I’m here, so you can let Liam go now,” Sam held out both empty hands.
“Yeah, cuz I can just run away now,” Liam sighed. “God, I think I’m the sanest person here and I gotta say that’s fucking scary. You see the point I was trying to make earlier, who ever the hell you are? He’s giving up his life for mine. Does that sound evil to you?”
“Shut up!” the man spat, aiming a gun at Sam. “He’s probably got some trick up his sleeve.”
“No tricks,” Sam took a step forward. “Look, all I’m asking is that you let me get my brother’s boyfriend out of here. Then I’m all yours.”
Liam fell back on the mattress and sighed. “Yep, we’re both dead.”
He jumped and closed his eyes when he heard a gunshot. He just waited for a bullet to hit him next. There were several more shots fired, then all was quiet. Liam looked up to see Sam walking toward him, blood dripping from a nasty looking shoulder wound. The man who had kept him prisoner was on the concrete floor a few yards away, a bullet in his head and a pool of blood forming. Sam knelt down and hugged Liam with his good arm. “We were so worried about you!”
“Where’s Dean? Please tell me you didn’t actually come alone.”
“I did,” Sam nodded. “Dean is in New York still, he made me leave him.”
“What the flying fuck?”
“He was trying to save both of us I think. Gordon told him about the fail safe, that you would be dead by nine if he didn’t call his partner. Because of the time limit he made me leave to save you. But it was well past nine when this guy called Natalie, so that must mean...” Sam looked like he was about to cry.
Liam shook his head. “Gordon never called. The guy didn’t have the stones to actually go through with killing me. He quoted the Bible and I think he was a hardcore Christian. That worked in my favor.”
“Good,” Sam nodded. “You think… You think you could patch me up quick?”
“If I had a med kit, sure.”
“Okay, I have one in the car. Be right back.” Sam got up and pulled out his phone while he went back outside. He came back a few minutes later with a tackle box. “I called Dean, he’s okay too. He did get Gordon. Your knife really came in handy.”
“Good, I guess. It was meant for vampires, but hey, it’s sharp.”
“No, you don’t understand,” Sam said as he took off his shirt. “Gordon got himself changed into a vampire. There wasn’t just one. There was this guy vampire hunting blonde women and turning them by telling them he was giving them a really good drug. While we were chasing him Gordon attacked us. I’m not sure how, but I guess because he was so focused on me the vampire was able to capture Gordon and he turned him.”
“Wow...” Liam said as he opened the tackle box and grabbed the pair of dental pliers.
“Yeah. We found the nest while we were hunting Gordon. He’d killed all the guy’s little fledglings. You know, because of you I think Dean and I both have a whole new perspective on vampires. We still killed him because he was no you, but I at least felt for him.”
Sam laid back on the mattress and sighed. Liam sterilized the pliers with vodka and leaned over his friend. “I haven’t done this in over eighty years, so bare with me.” He tried to be careful while he dug around for the bullet. Sam clenched his jaw and whimpered. “Damn it, blood makes things slippery.”
“Liam, you’re killing me.”
“Sorry, not trying to. Ha! Got it!” he held the bullet up in triumph. “Now I just gotta get you bandaged to stop the bleeding.”
As soon as Sam was bandaged he helped Liam out to the car with his good arm and drove home. Natalie rushed out to greet them. “Thank fucking god you two are all right!” she threw her arms around Sam and kissed him. Then she moved to the passenger side and opened the door to hug Liam.
“Yeah,” Sam smiled. “I think I was patched up by a butcher though,” he smirked at Liam. “Anyway, our main problem now is Dean is stranded in Albany with no money and no hotel room. But I am so fucking tired right now. I haven’t slept in a day and a half.”
“My poor baby,” Natalie gave him a soft smile. “Tell you what. Call Dean and tell him to get his butt to the international airport and tell the people at the front desk his name is Alex Mitchell. Then go to bed and leave the rest to me.”
“Somebody drop my broken ass on the couch please,” Liam said.
“Yeah, sure,” Sam said as he helped Liam inside and put him on the couch before pulling his phone out.
Two hours later a cab pulled into the driveway. Dean got out with a big smile on his face. “Natalie, you are awesome!” he pulled her into a hug when he came in. “The private jet was fucking awesome.”
“Yeah, well, don’t get used to it,” she chuckled. “We were in a bit of a sticky situation. You were stranded and my poor Sam was exhausted.”
“Yeah, I know. If you don’t mind, the cab driver needs paid. Sorry, but Sam had all the money. I didn’t think about that when I sent him away. All I thought about was you,” he said as he moved toward the couch to pull Liam into a tight hug. Liam kissed him and Dean sat down beside his mate while Natalie went to pay the cab driver. “Did three days in the mental ward do you any good?”
Liam shrugged. “Still depressed, but Dr. Shaffer drove home the point that my life has a lot of value to a few people. Mainly you, Sam, and Natalie. That’s only three people that care if I’m alive or not, but it’s something. And Sam just very stupidly risked his life to save mine, further proving the point that he cares. You sent him to save me, which proves I have worth to you. I don’t know what the hell that worth could be, but Dr. Shaffer also prescribed happy pills, which Natalie said I have to take.”
“You mean an antidepressant? Yes, you have to take that. We want you to feel better.”
Natalie came back in and Dean got up to follow her to the kitchen. “Hey, I know we’ve been imposing a lot, but...”
“Family doesn’t impose, sweetie,” she smiled at him. “What do you need now?”
“I was just thinking on the ride back here that Thanksgiving is in two weeks. Liam has probably never had a proper one, and I wanted to give that to him while I’m around to see him enjoy it. Christmas too.”
“That’s a wonderful idea! I will get right on that.”
The two weeks passed and Liam was beginning to be his old self again. It was the night before Thanksgiving and Natalie went into the kitchen to start preparing. She found Liam sitting at the table by himself. “Something wrong, sweetie?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Liam nodded. “As you know, I’ve been having weekly sessions with Dr. Shaffer. It helps, but there are things I can’t talk about with him.”
Natalie sat down and took his hand. “And you want to talk about them with me because you can?”
“Yes,” Liam nodded. “If you don’t mind.”
“Sweetie, have I ever minded?”
“One of the things that weighs very heavily on my mind is that stupid deal that’s the whole reason I’m even alive. Every beat of my heart was paid for with Dean’s soul. That doesn’t sit well with me. And he told me he’s not even really going to try and find a way out of it because that might mean my life gets taken back.”
Natalie rubbed his shoulder. “It wasn’t fair of him to put you in that position, but he did it because he didn’t want to live without you. You dying now will not fix that. You’ve lived too long.”
“I know,” Liam sighed.
“Then why did you do it?”
Liam shrugged. “There was this little voice in my head telling me you were all better off without me. I listened to it.”
Natalie frowned and stroked his hair. “If that voice ever pops up again be yourself and tell it to go to hell because that’s a bunch of malarkey. Liam, we love you. If you want to do something for us then stay alive and just keep being you. Even if you never walk again I don’t care.”
“Yeah, but that nurse is really costing you.”
“So? It’s just money. A pile of cash can’t keep me company, make me laugh, or play games with me. You can. I want you here. If you had died Dean probably would’ve followed soon after of a broken heart. Is that really what you want?”
“No.”
“Well then, I guess your only option is to keep breathing. Now, I’ve got a pie to bake before I can go to bed. Feel any better?”
“Sort of. I don’t get why we’re doing the whole big feast thing tomorrow though. I have been to Thanksgiving dinners before with Jason’s family. I just couldn’t eat anything then.”
“You can now is the point. Dean wants to have proper holidays with you. He does so much for you to make you happy. The least you can do for him is to go along with it. And if you don’t really enjoy yourself, at least pretend to.”
“There you are, Liam,” Sam came in. “Dean has been looking all over the house for you.”
“We were just having a little chat,” Natalie smiled at him. “Liam had something he needed to get off his chest that he can’t talk about with the shrink.”
Sam patted Liam’s shoulder. “Welcome to life as a hunter. Natalie and I are here for you though if it’s something you can’t talk to Dean about.”
“Sam, do you resent me for that deal?”
“What? No!”
“But you’re losing your brother because of me.”
Sam sighed. “I’m losing my brother because he’s an emotionally stunted idiot. If you’re worried that I’m angry with you, don’t be. Even though it came at a steep price, I’m glad to see you alive.”
“Even though I’m useless now?”
Sam shook his head. “Don’t start down that road again. You were hurt on the job. It could happen to any one of us at any time. Hell, when I rescued you I got shot. It was only in the shoulder, but it really hurt. Don’t go blaming yourself for that either, because before you were even kidnapped Gordon tried to shoot me. Gordon and his friend were to blame for that. Winchesters don’t leave family and friends to the wolves.”
“And neither do I,” Natalie said. “Every time Sam leaves for a job part of me wants to tackle him and tie him to a chair to keep him safe. I know I can’t do that though. The best I can do is help the cause by giving him money so his needs can be met.”
Sam put his hand on hers. “And you have no idea how grateful we are for that. Sleeping in the car with an empty stomach sucks.” He looked over at the sink where the turkey was defrosting. “Whoa, that’s a big turkey.”
Natalie smiled. “I wanted to make sure we had enough. Have you ever had a proper Thanksgiving dinner?”
“Once, sort of. Dad had stashed us with a friend of his who was a pastor. The church had a dinner for the homeless, and Dean and I ate too.”
Natalie ran a hand through his hair. “You have given up so much. Did you at least get Christmas?”
“Yeah, until I was twelve. I guess when I entered my teen years Dad decided I was old enough I didn’t need that anymore. It’s okay though, I get it. We don’t get the things normal people get. I’ve accepted that.”
Natalie pulled him in for a kiss. “Well, you’re gonna get me to love and take care of you.”
Dean came in and sat down by Liam. “So, this is where the party went to.”
“Yeah,” Liam sighed. “But can you take me up to bed? I want to read for a little bit before I go to sleep.”
“Sure, Babe. Where’s Martha?”
“I told her to take the night off. I needed a little privacy.”
“Oh, okay. Wait, what did you do?”
“I needed to talk to Natalie, okay?” Liam sighed. “I didn’t do anything.”
“All the medications are under lock and key,” Natalie assured him.
“I don’t know why you’re treating me like a small child,” Liam grumbled.
“Umm...” Dean blinked. “You tried to kill yourself with a pain pill overdose. You damn near did.”
Liam sighed. “I went for the gun first, but you took it away.”
“Thank god I did. After you threatened to do it on the phone that one morning I had a bad feeling. I am so very glad I took it and hid it because that means your brain is still intact and you’re still breathing. Now, let’s get you into bed.”
As soon as Liam was settled in with his book Dean went to Martha’s room where she was watching TV. “Come in,” she said when he knocked on the door.
He opened the door and peaked in. “Hey, uh, seeing as how tomorrow is a family holiday I thought if you had somewhere to go you could. I’ll be here and I can take care of Liam. I mean, I’m not throwing you out if you don’t, you’re welcome to stay and eat with us. It’s up to you.”
“Thanks,” she nodded. “I would like to go to my niece’s. I’ll call her and see if they have room for me.”
“Awesome. I really do appreciate the way you’ve been taking care of my boyfriend.”
“Honey, as I keep saying, it’ my job.”
“Yeah, but you don’t have to do the little things like play games with him like you do.”
She gave him a small smile. “It’s part of healing. I wouldn’t be much of a nurse if I didn’t care about my patients’ emotional needs too.”
“Yep, you are definitely one of the good ones,” Dean nodded. “Goodnight.”
As soon as Liam was up in the morning Dean had him in the bathtub. “Let’s get you all squeaky clean for your first Thanksgiving.”
“It’s not my first Thanksgiving.”
“It’s the first one you get to partake in as a human. That’s something isn’t it?”
“So, basically what you’re saying is you want me to gorge myself because a very long time ago the Pilgrims threw a big feast for the Native Americans because the natives didn’t just let them starve to death.”
“Pretty much.”
“Okay I guess. I suppose this is better than lying in bed all by myself thinking about how people all over the country were spending time with loved ones and crying about it.”
“See, things are looking up for you. You’ve got loved ones to be with now.”
“Martha usually washes my hair and leaves me to do the rest,” Liam said when Dean started washing him.
“Well, I’m not Martha. You said human touch makes your brain squirt out happy juice, and your brain needs to do more of that.”
Once Liam was washed and dressed they headed to the kitchen. There were all kinds of wonderful smells of cooking food that filled room. “Light breakfast, boys,” Natalie said when they came in. “Just toast this morning so you’ll have room for dinner.”
Dean nodded and made them buttered toast. “Need any help?” Dean asked after he finished eating.
“Nope,” Natalie shook her head. “Like I told Sam when he asked, this is for you guys’ benefit too. Now that you’ve had your breakfast, out of my kitchen.”
Dean wheeled Liam out to the sitting room where Sam was in front of the TV. “Don’t ever let that woman go,” Dean said as he picked Liam up and settled with him on the couch beside his brother.
“I don’t intend to. This is a trip and a half, isn’t it? We’re spending a holiday like a normal family.”
“We deserve this, Sam. After everything we’ve given up, we’re finally getting ours.”
Sam tensed a little when Patrick came in and sat down in a recliner. “Hello, boys. Haven’t gotten to see much of you two in a while.”
“Our job keeps us busy,” Dean gave him a little smile.
“Mine too,” Patrick nodded. “All those classes to teach, lectures to give, and papers to grade… I should be grading papers now, but I thought the heck with it, it’s a holiday.”
“Yeah, I’m sure there’s a job or two we could be doing, but since we have people we want to be around we decided to take the day off ourselves. Since your daughter is such an awesome cook I’m looking forward to a really great meal.”
“No doubt,” Patrick nodded. “What are we watching?”
“Umm...” Sam swallowed hard. “The beginning of the parade.”
“Excellent. Be right back,” he said as he got up and left them.
Dean turned to his brother. “Why so tense around Patrick? He’s really not too bad for an old dude.”
“Dude, it’s a little awkward because I’m kinda sleeping with his daughter.”
“Are you forcing her?” Patrick’s voice came from behind them.
Sam jumped and turned. “No, of course not!” he answered quickly.
“Then relax, dear boy,” Patrick said as he took his seat with a pipe now in hand. “Natalie is a grown woman that can make her own decisions when it comes to things like that. You’re a nice young man who has needs like the rest of us. I’m not naive enough to think that Dean and Liam have never had sex in this house either. And I’m sure that once Liam is healed up enough they will again because they are human and it is very pleasurable. How do you think Natalie was born?” he gave a little smirk. “Sam, as long as any sex that happens under my roof is consensual, I am perfectly fine with it. All I ask is that you treat my daughter with love and respect.”
“Oh, yeah, of course,” Sam nodded. “I do love her very much, and she’s been great with helping us out.”
“That’s very forward thinking of you,” Dean smiled. “And you’re right, Liam and I have had sex in the bed you let us sleep in, and we really liked it.”
“Of course you did,” Patrick chuckled. “Mind if I smoke this?” he motioned to the pipe.
Dean shrugged. “It’s your house.”
Liam whimpered and leaned his head against the couch. “Babe,” Dean stroked his hair. “I’ve told you a million times already, you are much more than just sex to me. I really like it, but you can’t, and that’s okay. Dr. Shaffer has told you that too.”
“I know,” Liam sighed. “This just really sucks.”
Natalie came out a few hours later to tell them dinner was almost ready. Dean got up and laid out the yoga mat. “Time for your therapy,” he said to Liam. “I know you usually do it after lunch, but today if I get my way you’ll be too stuffed after we eat.”
Liam did everything he was supposed to, and was actually encouraged that it didn’t hurt as much as it did when he first started. Then Dean put him back in the wheelchair and took him into the formal dining room where a feast was set out for them. “Wow...” Dean’s eyes widened when he saw it all. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Natalie, you are fucking awesome!”
Natalie just grinned. “Everybody take a seat. Okay, before we dig in, I just want to say one thing. We’re not all related by blood, but we are a little family, and we love each other. I’m so very glad we are all here together today.”
“I’ll drink to that,” Dean raised his bottle of beer and took a sip.
They all dug in and started eating. Dean saw Liam with hardly anything on his plate. “Babe, eat.”
“I am eating,” Liam argued.
“Eat more than that.”
Liam looked to Dean’s plate piled high. “It doesn’t bother you that all your food is touching like that?”
Dean shrugged. “It’s all gonna get mashed together in my stomach anyway.”
“If you can fit all of it your stomach.”
“That’s the goal,” Dean grinned.
Two hours later they had moved to the sitting room again. Dean was reclined on the end of the couch. “Holy crap...” he rubbed his belly. “It all fit. I feel like I’m gonna explode, but it all fit.”
“Okay,” Natalie sighed and stood up from where she sat cuddled up with Sam. “I didn’t let you guys help cook, but you are going to help clean up.”
“But I don’t think I can move,” Dean argued.
“Moving is good for you. It gets the blood flowing. Liam, you’re helping too. Sam is gonna wash dishes, and you’re going to dry them. Now, come on, let’s get to it.”
