"Hell, Jarrod. Harder,” Heath moaned and Jarrod thrust himself inside Heath as hard as he could. The brothers had been meeting off and on with each other over the last month and Heath was grateful for their help. He definitely felt more relaxed but admitted he was eager to have intimacy with his wife instead of bidding her good night and them going to their rooms separately each night.
Jarrod had sucked him off, Heath had screwed Jarrod from behind and now Jarrod was getting Heath off again by straddling him and pushing his cock inside Heath while simultaneously pumping Heath’s cock.
Both men came and Heath groaned loudly at the release. Jarrod pulled out of Heath’s ass but kept massaging Heath’s cock. He felt it getting hard again and the oil mixed with Heath’s cum was the perfect lubrication and Heath moaned in delight. He came again, his loud groan of satisfaction causing Jarrod’s cock to twitch but he had to get going. Jarrod reluctantly released him.
Both men stood to their full heights and Heath sighed with contentment.
“Thanks,” Heath said as he pulled up his pants. Jarrod fixed his as well.
“Mags will be due in another 2 months and Milly is due 3 months after that. Thinking about one last trip to the lodge with just us. What are your thoughts?” Jarrod asked.
Heath thought about it.
“Teddy’s father is coming for a visit at the beginning of next month. If we go before then, I think it will be ok.”
Jarrod nodded.
“Any thoughts on when you and Teddy will…”Jarrod asked. Heath took a deep breath.
“I’m thinking after her father’s visit I’m going to get started on building a house for me and Teddy. I know we’re welcomed at the big house but I also don’t think our first time should be in a house full of people. And I don’t want to get a hotel room and Teddy just feel obligated to give herself to me. Just because I’m building a house though doesn’t mean it’ll happen right away and I’ll make that clear to her. But I think it will help us be more comfortable.”
Jarrod agreed.
“I really appreciate Milly and Mags,” Heath said. “Teddy adores them and I think they have been good for her. She told me she’d never really had friends before. And Mother is helping her get the beehive set up,” Heath said as he put on his vest.
“Let’s plan the trip for week after next. We should only be gone a week this time though since Mags and Milly are expecting,” Jarrod said. Heath agreed and the brothers went their separate ways.
The men made their trip to the lodge enjoying one another. They’d only been gone 3 days when each realized they wanted to get back to their wives. They decided to stay only one more day and night and then head back.
“I can’t wait for Mags to give birth,” Nick said between bites of fish they’d caught.
“Any preference on boy or girl?” Jarrod asked.
Nick shook his head. “Nope. I mean, a boy would be great don’t get me wrong. To have a son to help me with the ranch one day…But a girl! Can you imagine a girl that looks like Mags? I think about taking her out on the ranch and watching the awe in her eyes as she sees what her grandfather started and what we’ve all done.”
Jarrod and Heath exchanged a look and smiled.
“What about you, Jarrod? Boy or girl?” Heath asked. Jarrod sighed and leaned back with a smile on his face.
“Like Nick, no preference. I’m just excited,” Jarrod replied.
All three sat around the table with glasses of whiskey or scotch, lost in their thoughts.
“How are things going with Teddy?” Jarrod asked.
“Ok…” Heath said and this time Jarrod and Nick exchanged looks.
“Just ok?” Nick asked.
“She’s beautiful. Smart. Fun to be with but of course there’s no…you know…” Heath said. He looked up at his brothers. “I know marriage isn’t just about that but it is a big part. I don’t want to force her but I don’t know how to…bring it up in a way that she won’t feel obligated.”
All three brothers were silent.
“You should court her,” Nick said. Heath looked up.
“Court her? We’re already married, it’s not like I have to convince her to marry me,” Heath said looking to Jarrod for help.
“No, but I still court Milly. Nick?” Jarrod said looking to the dark haired rancher.
“Yep…I know Mags would never stray but I never want to give her a reason to. We have arguments but that’s kind of part of the fun. Especially the making up. I bring her flowers every Sunday. She said it’s something she looks forward to,” Nick said.
“And Milly will come into town at least once a week and we go to lunch together. I have it marked out on my calendar that nothing else can happen during that time. And if I have to be out of town, I bring her back something from where I’ve been so she’ll know I was thinking about her,” Jarrod replied.
Heath sighed.
“Boy howdy…didn’t realize ya’ll were so romantic,” Heath said chuckling. His brothers had given him a lot to think about.
They turned in and left early the next morning, each excited for what was going to come next.
Carl Benton arrived and Teddy couldn’t hide her excitement. She was eager to show him around the ranch and he felt relief that she was so happy. He did notice that Heath and Teddy slept in different rooms which made his heart heavy. He had hoped they’d make a go of it. He thought about talking to Heath but decided against it. The way Heath watched his daughter told him all he needed to know. Heath was in love with her but he was taking things slow.
All too soon it was time for him to leave. He’d met with Jarrod, Nick, and Heath about the mine and the changes Heath had made were still in place. He updated them on JG and while the man still ran the town with an iron fist, some of the wind had been taken out of his sails. Jeff had quit not long after Heath and Teddy married and left town, no one knowing where he was.
Jarrod promised to make a visit in a few months.
Early one morning the cry of a newborn was heard followed by a “WOO HOO” from the baby’s father. Nicholas Jonathan Barkley II made a grand entrance and his parents were beyond excited. Heath rode over to Jarrod and Milly’s to give them the news and they arrived not long after to see the newest Barkley.
Each person held the baby and Heath watched as Teddy cooed to baby Nicky. He felt a stirring and thought back to the words of wisdom his brothers shared. He needed to court his wife.
He’d started drawing up plans for the house and decided to take her on a picnic to show her where he wanted to build their house and hoped to get her opinion on what she wanted to include.
The more he thought about his plan, the more excited he got. He knew he’d be busier the next few days since Nick would want to stay close to Mags but he’d make the time as soon as he could.
“Barkeep! Get me a bottle and send one of the ladies upstairs to my room,” bellowed the man. All the saloon girls moved quickly to look busy so they wouldn’t be the one chosen. He’d been in town for a few days and if he wasn’t drunk and mean, he was just mean.
“Trudy,” the barkeep called. Trudy’s heart sank. She took the bottle of whiskey and made her way upstairs. She knew the sooner she got the man drunk, the sooner he’d pass out and maybe he’d be too drunk to do anything to hurt her.
A half hour later there was a blood curdling scream and the barkeep along with a few other men ran up to see what was wrong.
“He killed Trudy!” Cried one of the other women. “He kept hitting her when he couldn’t get finished. Kept calling her Teddy.”
Someone ran for the sheriff but the man was long gone having escaped through the window. The sheriff arrived and felt bile rise in his throat at the condition Trudy was left in. Her mangled body was taken to the town’s undertaker where she was cleaned up for burial.
The sheriff sent out a wire to neighboring towns in case the man made an appearance there. Trudy was laid to rest in a potter’s field the next day.
