Sookie closed her eyes and astral projected out, searching and seeking out her brother Jason's mind signature.
She was barely hanging on to any wisp of her sanity and still had a serious case of the giggles; they kept escaping and distracting her, with an annoying tick that had started to affect the one side of her face. "There you are!" She squealed, jumping up and down in place, much like her cousin had before her in excitement. That reminded her. Her eyes opened back up, and she beheld her fallen relative who had sought to violate her. He wasn't dead much to her disappointment, but at least he was still unconscious. How much time she had; Sookie shrugged to herself- who really knew. "Claudine, Claudine, Claudine…oh where are you cousin?" The fact that she was naked hardly seemed to bother her anymore, to be honest; she wasn't really concerned; the dancing flames of her power served as gossamer covering anyway. Sookie skipped and twirled around in a circle. "CLAUDINE!" Jason was blissfully unaware as per his usual, sitting at some sort of banquet with others there to watch him, but he hadn't a clue he was actually a prisoner; Jason never had a clue. And from what she could tell with her third eye or psychic sight, he was in no immediate danger, so she could play a bit more- and she so intended to. "I guess I'll just have to come to YOU!" Sookie snickered out to the air with a snort. She headed her twirls and leaps towards the heavy wooden door. "Feather whip, feather whip; who wants a whipping- why you do of course! Tan your hide, strip your flesh; just like a horse!" Yep, she'd dived hard into the deep end. Her singing continued all the way out into the stone hallway, as she skipped over to a wall torch, and unhooked it from its harness. "Fire, fire, flame, and burn; just how many shades of black can you turn?" Sookie covered her mouth with a hand, her hysterics reaching new levels of obnoxiousness. She placed two fingers over her lips. "Shhhh!" She spoke to no-one of course. "Tweedle- lee- dee- tweedle- lee- dum, look out cunt face; cuz here I come!" She continued down the long passage and let her intuition guide her, solely relying upon her instincts to seek out the brunette who had betrayed her trust. "We all share here, we all share… Oh Claudine," Sookie sing songed, and then dropped her voice down low into a menacing hiss, her smile replaced with the grisly look of intent, "I want to share with you."Eric felt something strange in his bond with Sookie that had him concerned. "She is different."
Ludwig looked impatient. "I do believe I asked you to explain about this Time Lord business Northman; what do you mean she is different?" He couldn't finger it exactly, but had an odd sense overtake him. "She isn't in pain or afraid, yet…" "What is it?" Pam questioned truly curious. Eric dropped down off the desk. "She is happy and angry all at the same time; I've never felt anything like this from her before." Maxwell looked up to the tall blond Viking thoughtfully. "Try to describe it to us and walk yourself through it." "Well," Eric started slowly, "I'm feeling intense giddiness, and then in the same sense, intense rage and indignation." "Interesting." Ludwig admitted reluctantly, wanting to know what Nial had pulled more than anything else. "She isn't in danger you said, correct?" "No, not that I can tell." "Good- then get to telling me about this trial and so help me, do not leave out any detail, however small, you got it?" The vampire Sheriff nodded, still wondering about Sookie, but deciding Ludwig was right; if she wasn't in any immediate danger than it could wait until they raided faery. "Questionnnnsssss." Beelzebub interrupted, having been eavesdropping on their conversation. Eric didn't like the looks the daemon was darting at his child, and suddenly felt protective. "Speak, and take care with what you seek." The double meaning wasn't wasted on the pit master. "Of courssse, I just wanted to know when we will travel from this plantation house; my minions are hungry." Eric looked to the warlock and tiny doctor expectantly. They were in fact the deciding factor, as their portal was the entrance point in which they would invade. Ludwig stared at the daemon in disbelief. "Who did you steal that outfit from, Jimmy Durante?" Beelzebub blinked vacantly in response and she waved a hand. "Oh, never mind," Ludwig grumbled, "tell your beasts and their stomachs- soon; about twenty minutes." "Thanksss." He bowed, and then walked away; his tongue flicking out at Pam with meaning as he passed her. "Am I going to have to kill him Pamela?" Eric asked his progeny lightly as if it were a small task. "I think so, I pissed him off earlier." "Thanks for the heads up," he said sarcastically, "now onto the trial…" Ludwig and Max listened intently as the Viking started to fill them in, starting with Jason being kidnapped by the Were panthers in Hot shot. He gave them the edited version, as it wouldn't take as long, and it was really none of their business; as far as some of the more intimate details between himself and Sookie. He did however mention the black eyes and strange behavior Sookie had exhibited, and admitted it was almost similar to how one behaves when possessed. But assured them that he'd covered his bases with the underworld, in order to rule out that possibility. "So the scroll that Claudine had delivered to Sookie yesterday in your bathroom, do you still have it?" Ludwig wanted to know. "Yes I do, but its back at my club." Eric crossed his arms and stood in a wide legged stance; while a worry was still present at the back of his mind that wouldn't quit. "Dr. Ludwig, when Sookie had frozen time back at that house, it had affected more than three parishes; but only living beings, or ones without magic. Am I wrong in thinking this, or shouldn't everyone, including myself have fallen under its constraints?" "I guess you didn't survive as long as you have Sheriff by being a complete ignoramus after all," Ludwig said with a smile, but then pointed towards Pam with a look of wide eyed innocence, "lapse of judgment?"A group of guards had turned the corner and Sookie very inconspicuously attempted to blend into the stone slab wall; putting her back against it and holding out the torch in front of her like she was a living statue holder.
They didn't buy it and she hadn't really expected them to. Their leader, a short pretty boy with long flowing black hair, who looked like he was playing dress up in his uniform, as in human years he couldn't have been more than twelve; raised a hand up to stop his cohorts; them being just five feet from Sookie and staring at her in surprise. "Hark, woman," he called to her, "what are you about in this passage?" She burst out into a guffaw, having been grinning while holding her breath; almost dropping the torch as she stumbled away from the wall, before turning then to face them. "Hark and woman, really?" Sookie boomed out in between snorts. "Who freaking talks like that anymore?" One of the other guards exhaled low under his breath. "She's stark raving mad." "I'll handle this Aurath," the lead boy/guard chastised, "I say, what are you about here and what is that on your skin?" Sookie giggled as she looked down at herself, but just as swiftly as her merriment had overtaken her, it stopped cold, and she looked back up with a fierce tight lipped scowl. She shrugged nonchalantly. "What- is- on- yours?" The six of them soon realized after Sookie had spoken, that their clothes were now gone, and they were all covered with the worst case of poison ivy and fire ants any of them had ever experienced. Actually, none of them ever had before, because such things didn't exist in faery. So of course Sookie found it down right funny again, watching their looks of horror, girly screams, jumping and swiping at themselves, while itching and dropping one by one to roll around on the floor. "I love this show!" She exclaimed, slapping her thigh with regained hilarity. "You should see how you look right now!" Sookie barely choked out, twirling and skipping over to the bunch of them. "Ahhhh, please- ahhhh…." The lead was digging at his scrotum and tears of pain and desperation were dripping away from his dark brown eyes. "Help us!" "Yes, have mercy!" Another yelped, trying to reach the middle of his back. Sookie pretended to consider, tapping a finger on her chin. "Hmm, let me see," She chuckled out to them with an impressively shrill voice, "do any of you know where my cousin might be?" The pretty one had left his attentions from his genitals and was now half sitting up, nails in between his toes; he gasped. "Who- ahhhh- ahh- ahhhh- who is your cousin?" She grinned, twirled once more, and bowed grandly with a hand roll. "Why, Claudine of course- you do know her don't you?" "Yes- yes- ahhh- ahh- I do, I do know the, ahhh- princess." Sookie clapped her fingers together and almost dropped the torch again. "Oh goody!" "B-b-but that would ahhh- make- make- ahhhh, you-" Sookie patted him on his head. "Yes it would," she confirmed darkly, her smile becoming more and more evil, "so if I were you, I would get to pointing me in her direction, because I could very well make this worse." He looked up into her darkening eyes, losing his voice from terror, and did exactly as she suggested; raising up an arm to direct her down the way she'd just come."Ok, push all this ugly furniture out of the way and have one of those thugs roll up the rug." Ludwig commanded.
Chuck and Andre walked over, hearing her words; the red haired vamp going over to Pam and draping an arm around her. "Not now." She said shrugging him off. He looked wounded, and Andre wagged a finger at him. "Better get used it young buck." Pam shook her head at them with no tolerance; asking Ludwig. "I thought we were going to the portal?" Maxwell answered instead, as the doctor was already occupied pulling things out of her bag. "Perceptions, my dear; the portal may be conjured anywhere. We will not be traveling in the way you think. Instead of venturing out, we will be summoning in." "In other words," Ludwig muttered, raising her head out of the large leather satchel, "I'm bringing faery to us." Eric looked impressed. "Saves time doesn't it," his ice colored eyes looked at Chuck coldly, "you heard the woman, move!" "C'mon, I'll help you." Andre offered, after seeing the muscled vamp tense up. "You can't expect her daddy to just accept you all at once, it takes time." Eric and Pam both snorted at that and Andre couldn't help but laugh at their reaction; leading the ginger away to perform the task of preparing the room. Ludwig appraised Pam shortly, holding a piece of white chalk in one hand. "I thought you were a cat person?" The blond didn't get it, knitting her eyebrows together. "I hate domestic animals." Eric pitied his child, especially when even Maxwell laughed at her. "She means pussy Pamela." "Man, this is a tough room!" Ludwig stated in exasperation. Pam cocked her eyebrow in understanding and slowly smiled. "You can poke fun at me all you want, just save Sookie for my master," she included as an afterthought, "and don't worry about what pussy I'm into unless you're planning on putting out." "Touché," the elf woman shot back sassily, and then addressed the other warlocks as gruffly as any drill instructor, "form a circle!" The men complied, all eleven; with Maxwell making twelve, clasping hands all around the three; Eric, Pam, and Ludwig. She drew some foreign symbols in front of each of the coven's feet on the hardwood floor, before constructing a pentagram. "So do you really think it's like you said, with the Time Lords?" Eric wondered aloud to the doctor. "Yes," she absentmindedly returned, still squat over, now sprinkling various herbs around, "I do." "So Nial put a spell on Sookie in order to blame her, just so he could ask for the gift of time travel after he turned her over to them." "Yes." Ludwig repeated. "And you think the faery king has intentions of altering the timeline back to before the cleansing you mentioned, in order to change the outcome to his favor." "Christ Viking, haven't we been over this already!" Eric was unfazed, even after she stood back straight and glared at him. He smirked. "What?" "I take it back, you both deserve each other!" She pointed between maker and child with impatience. Pam elbowed Eric, matching his smirk. "Isn't she just adorable when she's angry?" Ludwig was starting to turn colors again and was preparing to let them both have it. Only Maxwell answered, instead of the Sheriff, making her startle with embarrassment and lose all her thunder; her red cheeks now forming into a coy blush. "She always has been and she always will be… that's my snuggle bug." The strength of affection in his voice and look of absolute love he was shining down upon her, actually took her breath away- well kind of. Ludwig cleared her throat and shook herself, trying to regain her loss of composure. "Right, ha, hummmm," she made another sound, "well, let us, let us- get on with it then shall we?" "Of course," Eric and Pam both said together. But then his progeny, who really couldn't control herself this time; followed it up with, "snuggle bug." And the doctor did explode then, jumping up and down to almost impossible heights for one so short, while screaming with her eyes clenched shut. Even the daemons were enjoying the show; high fiving some of the Weres. Andre and Chuck were slapping each other's backs as they practically died from hysterics. "Goddamn it, you fucking vampires! Every fucking time, and I mean every time, you mother fuckers…" "Good going Pam." Eric whispered into her ear, as the elf hopped all around the circle like some kind of rabid bunny. She merely smiled back at him in morbid satisfaction, genuinely flattered. "Thanks."While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
