Jazzy glanced over at Aaron and was surprised to see a dark look on his face, his brows knitted together. She was relieved to see the look crumble and a huge smile break over his face, but for a moment, Jazzy understood why his Agents all called him 'Sir'.
"I can be sometimes, Agent Prentiss" he said laughing, "I can be." Emily looked at her boss. She had seen him smile and laugh more this evening then in the entire time she had worked for him. Had she even known he had dimples? She couldn't remember seeing him smile enough to notice them. She sighed. He looked happy and peaceful. She would always be a part of the job. She carried with her the horrors that they saw on every case. Jazzy didn't. She was light, happy and funny. She would be like a breath of fresh air for Hotch when he came home from cases. She sighed. Her heart hurt. She had longed to hold him in her arms, kiss his lips, touch him. She looked at he and Jazzy, they were whispering to each other and laughing. Emily knew she would have to let go of her feelings. Get over it, so to speak. It helped to see Hotch so happy. Jazzy glanced over at Emily, she could see she was deep in thought. She stretched her hand across the table and grasped the other woman's hand. "I'm really glad I got to meet you, Emily." she said, squeezing her hand. It was 1:00 am when everyone started drifting away. They all hugged Jazzy and told her how nice it was to meet her and how glad they were that Hotch had found her. Derek wrapped her up in a huge bear hug, squeezing tightly. "You ready?" Aaron asked her after everyone had gone. She nodded. Aaron took her hand and led her out to the Yukon. "I haven't even checked into a hotel yet." she muttered. "Hotel?" Aaron asked. "That's silly. Stay with me tonight." "But what about Jack?" she asked. "He's with Jessica tonight, she's bringing him home tomorrow. AND…." he said cutting off Jazzy when she started to speak. "They are both looking forward to meeting you." Jazzy shook her head. "Aaron, I just don't want to mess this up by rushing things." "Danger." Aaron said patiently, "We're in our 40's. We aren't kids. I think we both know what we want by now." "Are you sure? G-man" Jazzy asked, looking up at him. "I'm very sure. I love you, Danger. Don't you know that by now?" "I love you too" she said softly. "Tell Garcia to make sure she finds you a place with a 6 month lease." ############################################################################ Epilogue Aaron parked his car in the garage and entered the kitchen. He tossed his keys and briefcase on the table. "I'm home." he called, "Where are you guys?" "In here, Dad." he heard his 15 year old son call out. He smiled walking into the living room. Jack and his wife where lying at opposite ends of the couch, covered in blankets, a half eaten pizza on the coffee table in front of them. "Horror movies again?" he asked. "We didn't expect you this soon." Jazzy said, smiling up at him. "We caught a break and closed the case early." He glanced down at his watch. "Don't you have school tomorrow, Jack?" he asked. "Uhmm. Right Dad." Jack laughed, "I'll go to my room so you and Jazzy can make out." he said, getting up off the couch. "Night Mom, Night Dad." he called as he headed for the stairs. Hotch stood there smiling down at Jazzy. She looked up at him. "What's that sappy look for?" she asked. "I sure am glad I met you, Danger."
