Chapter 2

It was early the next morning when they both were awoken by s loud repetitive knocking on the door. Nathan groaned and rolled over kissing Haley lightly on the lips before standing up and pulling on a pair of his warm up shorts.
�Nate?� Haley called out, in that sexy sleepy voice that made Nathan wish the person at the door would just go away so he could greet his wife how he planned on the night before.
�I�ll be right back baby, let me just go kill whoever had the bright idea of waking us up so early on a Saturday morning.� Nathan leaned down and kissed Haley�s forehead, then he walked out of the room and down the small hallway towards his door, already planning the ways he could kill the moron at the door. If it was Tim Nathan would seriously have to kick his ass. He had warned Tim he would be busy Saturday and to not bother him.
He finally reached the door and answered, but was a little surprised and terrified at who was standing outside his door. Lucas. He would kill Nathan for marrying Haley and sleeping with her. He prayed to God, Lucas wasn�t here looking for her.
�Hey man, I know it�s early and all, but have you seen Hales? I promised to stop by and see her before I left.� Lucas was pretty sure Haley wouldn�t be at Nathan�s this early, but he couldn�t find her anywhere else so it was worth a shot.
�Um, actually, yea. HALES?� Nathan called out to her from the door, then realizing he hadn�t offered Lucas to come in, he moved away and nodded inside. Lucas took the invitation and walked in, wondering what Hales was doing at Nathan�s so early in the morning. Then he saw her walking across the hall wrapped in a sheet.
�Nate, where�s your sweatshirt?� She asked.
�In the bathroom.� He called back, all the while a stunned Lucas was sitting there watching.

Nathan walked down the hallway and out of site, just as Haley appeared in nothing but Nate�s baggy sweatshirt. Lucas had to take a double take.
�Um, sorry. I just wanted to um, say good-bye, I didn't um know you guys were um, yeah. I'm just um going to go, um okay yea.� Lucas stuttered while saying um countless more times before Haley interrupted him.
�No, Luke. I�m glad you came bye. I wanted to see you before you left.� Haley goes up to him and gives him a quick hug.
�Hales, what�s all this about. I thought you two were going to you know um, wait. I thought you wanted to be married and in love and stuff.� Just as he was about to go on Nathan walked back in and wrapped his arms around Haley.
�We did.� Haley said, but Lucas gave her a weird look
�We did, wait I mean. We got married last night!� Haley squealed and showed him her ring, while Nathan smiled and increased his hold on Haley a little, awaiting the big blow up from his brother.
�You guys got married?� Lucas asked shock evident in his voice.
�Yeah, after the game. Nathan found a place and we just well got married!� Haley seemed so happy, Lucas couldn�t try to tell her how huge of a mistake she had made. She was so young, but he was leaving her, so at least she had Nathan right?
�Congratulations. I�ve got to go, Keith is um waiting for me.� Lucas tried to look happy for them and smile which didn�t turn out to great but it was enough for them to nod. Haley walked up to him again and wrapped her arms around him saying good-bye with tears in her eyes. Of course Nathan didn�t miss the amount of leg she showed while leaning up to Luke, he just smiled knowing that was all his now.

�Thank you so much Luke. I love you, remember that! You better not go and get a new best friend up there in Charlotte, ya here?� Haley playfully hit him while giving in to her southern drawl.

�I won�t Hales, you're onl only one for me.� He smiled at her, and looked over at Nathan who had a weird look on his face after Luke�s last comment.
�I�ll see you around Nathan.� Luke walked over and shook his hand, Nathan pulled him into a �manly hug�.
They said their good-byes and then Luke was gone.

�Okay was that weird or is it just me?� Nathan asked as he wrapped his arms tighter around his wife. Nathan had anticipated a lot form his older brother when he heard about their sudden marriage, but congratulations was last on the list. He had thought more along the lines of a punch in the face, a screaming match, hell even Lucas walking out, but a congratulations.
�Don�t think too much of it baby. Be happy he said congratulations and move on. So we never really talked about what we were going to do now that we�re married.� Haley looked up into his eyes. He was staring down at her intently, he had no idea what they were going to do, but he was okay with whatever it was as long as he got to wake up next to Haley every morning from now until the day he died.
He leaned down and captured her lips in a quick kiss before he answered her. �Well, first we need to tell everyone else. I�m pretty sure Luke will handle Keith but that still leaves your parents and mine.�
Haley cringed at the thought of telling Dan Scott she had tied Nathan down. He would probably freak out, blaming her of seducing Nathan and turning him against his destiny. Not to mention she already knew his first question would be if she was pregnant or not. Hell, that would probably be everyone�s first question once they told them, why else would two 17 year olds get married in high school.
�Maybe we should not tell anyone. We could keep it a secret, like we did when we first started dating.� Haley tried convincing Nathan and herself that it would work.
�Hales, we�re married. You can�t just not tell people that. Anyways don�t you think your parents will be a little reluctant to let their daughter move out and into her �boyfriend�s� apartment, now her moving in with her husband, they really have no choice.�
�Moving in together, wow I never even thought about that.� Sure they were married, but Haley and Nathan had just had sex for the first time, and now moving in with each other. She realized how stupid she sounded, not living with your husband was way weirder.
�You have to be kidding with me, of course move in together. Haley we are married.� He stressed the last word hoping it would sink in, they weren�t just dating anymore. They were more than just official now they were bound legally by a court and all.

�You�re right. I guess I�m just a little scared. I mean, I tricked my mom into signing the consent forms, and she is going to be royally pissed as it is. But then there�s my father, who will probably try to kill you. But my favorite person yet, your father who will either hire someone to kill me, seeing as I have tied you down already maybe even kill me with his bear hands, seeing as I have completely ruined you future!�
Nathan smiled at her, because in all reality that was exactly what his father would say to him once he found out about their marriage.
�Hales, think about the good things, like my mom! She will be happy and excited for us. Then there�s Brooke and Peyton. I�m sure they will love the whole idea of us being married, they are weird like that. We don�t even have to tell my dad if you don�t want, he will find out eventually once people start talking. I don�t owe him anything, he doesn�t deserve to know anything about my life, or yours for that matter.�
�Aw, now I remember why I married you. Always the optimist. Notice me ignoring everything you said about Dan because in my eyes, well he just doesn�t exist. So, I guess this means we�re moving in together.� Haley said trying to bring back a happy topic.
�Nice change of topic, but we are still going to have to tell people about our marriage, hell, Lucas has probably already told Keith, who told Karen who told my mom. Do you see my pattern here?� Nathan smirked as he led Haley back to their bedroom, without her even noticing where they were headed.
�Hey, in that little chain of people, my parents still don�t know so I�m good.� Haley smiled at him, did he really think she was that stupid, that she didn�t know where he was taking her. hello, he only has one room, if we�re walking down the hallway we are obviously going into his room. I mean �our� room.
�Okay, Nate, here�s the deal we only have like an hour before I have to go to work. So that means I have to get in the shower. Sorry hunny, no time for that.� Haley smirked as he tried to lean her down onto the bed. She quickly moved past him towards the bathroom. She could hear his loud groan as she walked away. Thinking he would just sit down and watch ESPN or something she began undressing. She didn�t even notice him watching her from the doorway.
She placed his sweatshirt in the hamper, already dreading the idea of the laundry she would have to do. Knowing Nathan he never washed his clothes, he waited until his mother showed up to visit and let her take care of it. This of course meant Haley would have to start doing her laundry since she couldn�t wait until one of Deb�s random visits, and in turn she would end up doing his.

She turned on the shower to a hot temperature and stepped in letting the water cascade over her body. Moaning at the sensation of the warm water hitting her naked flesh.
�I think you�re having too much fun in here without me by that moan.� Nathan laughed as he wrapped his arms around her hips and pulling her body flush up against him. Haley could feel his excitement against her back.
�Nate, what are you doing in here? I have to shower!� Haley exclaimed shocked he was randomly in there with her now, completely naked. Haley began feeling self conscious and tried to cover up her body from Nathan.

�I doubt it, or she would have told my mother, who would have been over here already. I think we�re safe for now. But we really do need to tell everyone Hales.�

Okay so I know it sucks, especially for something that took me forever to actually get up, but like I said before, school, work all that other shit, has really been consuming me lately. How did you like it??
