Title: Loves Soul (2/5)
Rating: R/NC-17
Author: xtrekangel
Notes: Please listen to the soundtrack to crouching tiger track 13 on repeat if you can, it really brings the emotion out. The first chapter to this piece was awsome. It was prob my best work. Im not boasting here. I just loved it though. I dont know though, did I get the emotion to jump out at you. If you listened to the song while reading, it should have. I'm sorry for going on and on about myself, cant help it. I thought I got the emotion out. Thats what I wanted, not anything graphic. Maybe I'll write more like that. It was amazing. The rest will probably suck though. Of course thats just my opinoin. Anywho, I'll get on with the story now.
She awoke in his arms, cradled there. His finger tracing the lines in her palm.
"We should have done that sooner." Max said and smiled big.
"I think this was the perfect time." She rolled over and looked at him, grinning.
"Really?"
"Yes." He smiled sweetly, and ran his fingers though her hair. Her fingers caressed his chest. "Can we stay like this forever?"
"I hope so." Her heart beat rapidly in her chest. She had never expirienced anything like what they have. "I need to go see C sometime though, let her know I'm alive."
"Why don't you go do that, and be back around 8:00. You can bring over a few necessities. I don't plan on letting you leave me." She smiled up at him, then drew in close for a long soft kiss.
"Ok."
"Oh my god, Max? Is it really you?"
"No, its the sector police." She grinned. Original Cindy pratically ran up to her and gave her a big hug. "No big dealio." Max said somewhat stunned.
"No big deal. Boo, I thought you were dead."
"Well, I was, sorta." She grinned again. "It's a long story. I have some even better news for"
"
"What?"
"I saw Logan last night."
"You've been back since yesterday, and you didn't holla."
"I was busy."
"Doin what?" Max smiled. "Oh, I get ya." C smiled. "So ya\finafinally hooked up?"
"Yeah, I guess you could say that. Anyways, I probably wont be seein you for a few days."
"I finally find out you're alive, and you're leavin again. That's wack boo." She crossed her arms in front of her.
"Look, I'm goin to spend sometime with Logan."
"I see how it is. Once you get a man, you leave your friends." She smiled. "Naw, it's cool. I understand. Just as long as you plan on coming back."
"Don't worry about it."
"Aiiight. So, when ya leavin?"
The lights were low. Candles were scattered about the entire apartment. Logan was not in sight yet, so she walked slowly admiring the scene. A smell slowly drifted towards her. A really good smell. She followed it to the kitchen, where Logan stood, his back to her. She looked thoughtfuly at him a moment, then grinned. "Hey." He turned around. She walked towards him. "Watcha makin?"
"Angel hair pasta, with oysters, a salad, garlic bread, and wine." He smiled. She came up to him and kissed him softly. "I liked it, but what was that for." She pointed to his apron, and laughed. It said Kiss the Cook.
"Just doin what it said." They looked into each others eyes smiling.
"Hey we can skip the meal and go straight to dessert." He grinned.
"I'm hungry, we aint skippin anything, a girls gotta eat." As they sat down to their meal, niether could quite keep their minds on the food. They didn't speak, only gave each other longing galnces. But, the food was soon completly out of the picture.
"Hey, I've got an idea. How about a bath." He suggested. "With dessert of course. Some wine, and chocolate covered cherries." She smiled suggestivley.
"Ok."
