26th Entry
Dear Diary,
I'm scared.
Rob was mean again so Dean hit him again but then he hurt Dean real badly so I hurt him real badly back.
Dean's left arm looked all funny from where Rob pushed him down the small stairs in front of school. He cried 'cause he said it hurt real bad.
I pushed Rob down after him and Rob got a real deep cut and his arms funny looking too.
The am-bu-la-nce came and took them away but I went too 'cause I'm not gonna let them go without Dean and Dean wouldn't let them take him without me.
They called Rob's Mommy and Daddy and they called our Daddy.
I take my diary to school with me every day so I'm sitting on the bed with Dean. Sammy's on the car seat and sleeping beside me.
Daddy's outside talking to the men in white coats.
Daddy didn't say anything when he got here. He put Sammy on the bed and said "Watch your brothers." and left the room to talk to the men in white coats.
Dean's been asleep since the am-bu-la-nce came and took him here. His arm was put in something real big and white that the men in white coats called a 'cast.' They said he can get people to sign it - put pictures and names on it and stuff.
I don't know why people would do it but I had no paper left so when they gave me a pen I drew on it. I drew Rob crying on the floor. Dean'll like that when he wakes.
Sammy's got tears marks on his face. I think he was sad.
I gotta go.
Daddy's coming back in and he don't look real happy.
