Lacking
John descended the last steps onto Baker Street, holding a cup of hot coffee, squinting against the wind.
“Won’t you come in? You’ve been here for two hours, you must be freezing.”
“One hour and forty-six minutes.” Sherlock accepted the mug without looking at John, leaning slightly to the hand to his back. “No. Not yet,” he took a careful sip of the drink, then a bigger one, the steam from his breath thickening with the warmth.
Grinning, Sherlock downed the coffee, and blew a perfect circle of steam between himself and John; “The things I’d do for a cigarette.”
