Tommy had dealt with pain before, but nothing to the magnitude he was feeling, it seem as if he were being torn in half.
“Please, I can’t do this, It hurts” he begged
“Don’t worry Tommy it’s almost over” Rita tried to soothe him, she had never been one of sympathy on anyone but the pain and exhaustion reflected in his eyes was beginning a change her.
“Come on once more” He heard as the pain seared through his body again as he was forced to double it.
Tommy jolted away sitting right up in his bed, waking up his husband sleeping next to him
“Tom, what’s wrong baby?”
“Damn nightmare...fighting the same fucking dream for nearly ten fucking years, why doesn’t it go away?”
“Maybe it’s trying to tell you something”
“Adam, I can’t have a kid, it’s not anatomically possible, and if I could I would rather you be the father.”
“We could talk to Haylee about working something out”
“Oh Hell No! Get that out of your twisted little mind right now Adam!” Tommy stated as he lay back down on the bed, turning on his side.
“Oh come on you would look adorable with little stomach about six months”
“I will kill you.” Tommy said as he felt Adam slip his arms around his waist as Adam said softly
“Think about it, two kids one each, boy and girl, I can see the little boy with pretty olive skin and curly dark brown hair, he’d be strong just like you...”
“A little shy like you were the day we met” Tommy said as he turns to Adam, who softly kissed his forehead.
“We’ll talk about this more in the morning.”
“OK, we may want to wait until Anton leaves.” Tommy said as he turn back over, Adam arms resume there place around his waist as Adam softly whispered “I still think you would look beautiful pregnant” Tommy smiled as he felt sleep leading him back as a delicate kiss is placed on his neck.
“These are the new plans for the museum?” Tommy asked looking at the prints sprawled out on his dinning room table.
“Yes they are” Anton said picking up his cup off coffee taking a sip.
“It’s going to be huge” Tommy smiled as he noticed a room off the side reading ‘Nursery/Playroom’
“You’re adding in a nursery for the workers, nice job Anton at least Mesagog didn’t steal any consideration out of you he snickered
“Funny Thomas, Funny” Anton said as he took another sip from his coffee “I need to ask you something” He added sitting down his cup as he Tommy continued to look over the plans.
“Of course what is it?” Tommy said looking over the expanded kids’ exhibit.
“In times as Mesagog, I could read people’s memories, Tommy how come you never told me you had a child?”
Tommy’s glance snapped to him as he said, “Anton what are talking about?”
“It was very strange, I saw you having a child, and I believe the announcement of gender was a girl”
Tommy could not think of what to say, his thoughts raced as he felt himself become dizzy and tried to sit down.
“Tommy? Thomas! ADAM!” Anton yelled as the younger man race to his husband’s side.
“Anton, what happened?”
“I don’t know, I saw something about him as Mesagog and tried to explain it and he became dizzy.”
“It wasn’t a dream Adam, I had a baby. Mesagog read my memories, Anton saw that one.”
“Oh my god. He has been trying to figure that one out for so long. I knew it was trying to tell us something.” Adam said wrapping an arm around Tommy as he tried to comfort his husband.
