'What's your pleasure?' the rough voice from the bartender pulled Elliot from his thoughts, ordering a beer on tap he though about his kids like he always did. A nod and the beer being handed to him, he sipped and sighed. He missed being a married man, although things hadn't turned out the way they should have, he wanted to have his old life back. Now he was single and had endless opportunities to begin life over, he longed for his days of working and coming home to his wife and kids.
He scanned the crowd and saw nothing of alarm, or interest.
Ava Michaels walked into the bar, another long week of flower shop ownership and endless orders had exhausted her, it kept the rent paid on the building and the lights on, it gave her a sense of accomplishment but she longed for a relationship. Shaking off the cold air, she moved to an empty stool next to a big hunk of man sipping his beer and order. "Hey Mick."

'Ava. How's it going sweetheart?' "not bad, old friend. not bad. Whiskey straight" he smiled and went to make her drink. She scanned the crowd, same people but this man was new and looking lonely, the same way she felt.
'Hey' Ava spoke to her right side, Elliot turned his head and smiled. 'Hi'.
"Long night?" she smiled and thanked the bartender and sipped her drink. 'You could say that. Long life.' He looked at the attractive woman and the dirty thoughts entered his head, the things he could do to her and would she let him? that was up to her.

The two talked over drinks and got to know each other, they had some similar taste in things but she had a mystery about her, so did he.
After awhile, he looked her over and she did the same, his body was responding to her scent. Ava was hungry to taste this man, and she knew that jumping in head first might be dangerous but she needed to get her itch scratched. "So, Elliot...."

'Yes..Ava?'
"Did you want to get out of here?" his smiled sent a tingle down her spine and she was right in her assumption, he was hungry for female as she was for male.
A nod from her and they paid for their drinks, and walked out of the bar.

A short ride later in his car, they arrived at her apartment in the west village. She got out of the car and he followed her lead. They walked inside the building taking the stairs, the interior was dark but tasteful decorated. A thought had come into his mind as they went up the stairs, he had never had a one night stand before, he forgotten the protocol on the situation like this. Maybe he should just turn back, but he didn't want to offend her by changing his mind this quickly

'This is me." her voice was low and he followed her inside. The apartment was vast in space, big bay windows, hardwood floors and storm cloud grey colored walls. He took a look around, she had good taste. "Nice place you got here. How long have you lived here?" She took off her jacket and took his, 'About 3 years, used to belong to a friend of mine but then she married and gave it to me instead. Had to redecorate though, her color scheme wasn't exactly my taste.' she said with a chuckle.

Elliot walked over to the couch, dark chocolate leather and got comfortable. She strode over to him and sat beside him, her face was round with deep gray eyes and a pouty mouth that he could spend hours kissing. Her skin was lightly tanned, it represented her mixed heritage and her hair was long, soft and deep crimson. He was nervous but he want for her took over. He placed a hand on her face, caressing it softly and touched the ends of her hair in curls. She sighed into his touch and her eyes lingered on his face and slowly, he moved into a kiss. Her lips were warm and molded perfectly with his. He deepened the kiss and she followed, kissing franticly he pulled her into his waiting lap to straddle his thighs and moved against his thighs and woke up his desire more and more.

She began to unbutton his shirt, her nails dug into his chest and caused him to moan, in return he pulled off her shirt and moved closer to her and hold her as he kissed her, they kissed for what seemed like an eternity before she pulled away. Standing, she reached for his hand and lead him into her bedroom. They reached the room and he was expecting it to be rather feminine but it was dark and dominant. Her personality really shined through her decoration taste, pulling her into h is frame, they tumbled on the bed together...they both knew what was coming next and knew that it would be passionate and long.
