Title: Loves Soul (4/5)

Notes: Ok, so here it goes. I dont know what I'm gonna write yet, just comes as I type. Might wanna listen to some good r&b. I listened to India Arie, Maxwell, Jill Scott, and Ginuwine. I will always have music for each story I do. I'm just attached to music that way I guess. Well enough rambling. I'll let you get to the story now.
Rain tapped it's heavy fingers against the glass. Making music to calm and relax. An enchanting piece that almost hypnotizes you. The clouds cast a gloom that affects many weary travelers. But not all. Two such travelers seem unaffected. Together they cuddle close on the couch. One is reading, while the other rests her head upon his shoulder. His words are a medicine to her soul. Healing any and all wounds which may have affected her. He stops and closes the book, thinking for a second.
"Max?"
"Hmmmm?"
"You ever think about getting married?
"What?" She laughs slightly. The turns her head and looks up at him.
"You ever think about getting married? In general." He looks at her seriously. She sits up.
"Not really. Never a point in my life where I needed to. Why?"
"You know, I was never sure I wanted to ever get married again." He breathed out a laugh. "But you know what?"
"No, what?" She grinned.
"I think I want to do it again." His face seemed to glow as he smiled at her.
"Hmmm. Really."
"Think you maybe wanna get married. To me."
"Well, I'll have to think it over a little." She smiled and moved close. Her face inches from his. "Yes." She breathed out. He grabbed her, forcing her to end up in his arms, in his lap. He looked at her a second. Her smiling face. Laughing eyes. Then he kissed her as deeply as possible.
"I'm the happiest man alive. All because of you." He played with the hair that had fallen in her face.
"The only reason I'm here right now, is because of you. I live for you." They kissed again. Then she rested there in his arms, in his lap. He read some more from the book. Occasionally looking at her, and her beautiful smile.
"Hey, you want to eat?"
"I thought you'd never ask."
"Come on, help me make some clam chowder." He got up. She laughed.
"I can't cook."
"Don't worry, I'll teach you."
"Well, at least I have the best teacher." In the kitchen, Logan laughed at her inadequacies as a cook. But, finally she started to get the hang of some things. They laughed and joked as they made the soup.
"Ok. We need to let it cook a little." He got close and put his hands around her waist. "Lets dance." He smiled then put some music on. Maxwell played softly.
