She gripped his muscular arm, and they rush out the door.

“Clark I did not think you get involved with lowlife scum like that”.

“Lois as, I told you before, he took something that belong to me, and his peons thought they were going to steal it back”.

“ Clark I wish you’d let me help you more”.

“ You don’t need to be putting your life in Danger”.

“ Lois I’m very capable of handing my own personal demons”.

“ If you want to tag along, you still can, just try, and keep a low profile”.

She crossed her finger behind her back again.

They got to his apartment ,and sit down on the couch.

“Clark I know there is something you are keeping from me, and I wish you’d just spill the beans”.

“ I want to get closer, not only physically , but mentally”.

“ Lois I can’t divulge any thing to you for your protection”.

“ Clark what do I need protection from?”

“ Are Aliens going to attack earth”?

“ Lois no not that I’ve heard of”.

She touch his face.

“ Clark I’m not some girl you can bed one night , and forget about the next morning”.

“ If you want to have a serious relationship ,with me you have to leave the door cracked , so I can peek in , and take a look at the real you”.

She stood up, “ I gave myself to you last night completely body, and soul”.

“ I just wish you’d do the same for me”.

He took her hands ,“ Lois I’m sorry I can’t crack the door right now”.

“ Please let me see beyond your external being”.

“ Clark if you really love me than let me fight your personal demon with you”.

“ I’m a big girl , and I can fight a good battle when I need to”.

“ Lois when I decide to crack the door open ,I will, but you have to thrust my judgment for now”.

“ Clark I’m not going to wait forever, either you want to have a concrete relationship, or you don’t”.

She gets up, and fixes her a good stiff drink, thinking to herself this will be the only stiff thing I will have for, along time if Clark want get his head out of the clouds, and realize what a good relationship we can have.

She sat back down on the couch.

He looked at her taking his hand brushing her hair out of her face.

“ Lois I don’t want to lose you”.

“ Clark you need to seriously think about what I just told you before you do”.

“ I’m not going to keep my door open forever”.
