Notes: I have to apologize to my reviewer Delia. I forgot to put an acknowledgement in the story to respond to your review. It was just today that I realized my error. I've been posting so many one-shots lately that I forgot I could comment on any reviews in the next chapter update. So, again I apologize for the oversight. Acknowledgements: Delia, thank you for the review! I'm so happy to see that you're enjoying the story. Yes, this is a much lighter story. Sometimes even I need a break from all the angst. ;) I don't really have a favorite character myself but McGee is featured prominently in almost all of my NCIS fan-fiction. He's definitely my baby. :3 I do also understand your wish. :) I write a few pairings in this fandom but my OTP is unquestionably Gibbs/McGee. No worries though, I've still got a lot of stories with the two of them coming up in the future.

McGee turned onto his side feeling himself waking from a very restful sleep. He blinked his eyes open a few times as they adjusted. For a moment he felt panic not recognizing his surroundings. The panic was like a bucket of ice water to his mind and the events of last night quickly came up from his memory banks. He turned onto his back slowly not wanting to wake Tony if he was still asleep.
It was when he was moving that he noticed that sometime during the night he’d been covered by the bedding. He looked down at the comforter wondering if Tony had covered him up. ‘I don’t remember putting them over myself. Of course after last night I’m surprised I can remember my own name. No wonder women flock to Tony like moths to a flame.’ Images flashed before his mind’s eye from last night and he felt his entrance contract in want.
He took a deep breath mentally telling his body to calm down as he turned his head to find Tony’s profile. Tony seemed to sense that he was awake and turned his head to give him a gentle smile. “Good morning.” McGee returned the smile feeling a little awkward. “Good morning.” They fell into silence neither knowing what to say. Tony looked away briefly as though he were collecting his thoughts before he looked back to McGee.
“Did you want to stay for breakfast? I don’t have much in the house but I’m sure I can find something.” The tone was cordial but all McGee had to do was look at Tony to know that he was uncomfortable. His smile fell from his face as he sat up going to the edge of the bed to start looking for his clothes. “No that’s okay. Thanks anyway Tony.” He had hoped that it wouldn’t be like this with Tony.
He didn’t expect declarations of love from the other man but he thought that their personal relationship would keep this a comfortable encounter. ‘It figures this is my luck. No of course Timothy McGee is not allowed to have no strings attached sex. That would be too easy it has to be awkward.’ A small voice sounded in response to his complaints that regardless it wouldn’t have been no strings for him. McGee scowled at the voice choosing to ignore it for the time being.
He found his underwear and pulled them on still keeping himself covered by the bedding. The modesty was really unnecessary at this point but McGee felt more vulnerable then he wanted to admit. “Tim.” McGee didn’t pause in his movements pulling on his pants next. “What?” He felt the bed shift as Tony moved closer to him. “Why are you angry?” McGee stood up using putting his shirt on as an excuse to create more distance between them.
If he was being honest with himself he just wanted Tony as far away from him as possible. “I’m not angry. I just need to get going. Unlike you some of us like to get stuff done on our days off.” McGee finished buttoning his shirt before throwing his tie around his neck. He did one more cursory glance around the room to make sure he wasn’t missing anything else. When he was sure he’d grabbed everything he went to head into the living room to get his shoes and briefcase.
He was only able to take two steps before a nude Tony stood in his path. “Why are you lying to me? I know you’re angry. Do you regret last night?” McGee thought about brushing off the answer but quickly changed his mind at the uncertainty on Tony’s face. He looked almost frightened and it unsettled McGee. “Look I’m not angry okay? I’m just kind of disappointed. It’s obvious that you don’t want me here and I just wish you would have said something last night so things wouldn’t be so awkward now.”
Tony looked genuinely surprised at his answer. His hands came up to gently grip McGee’s biceps. “I don’t want you to leave. What would make you think that?” McGee shrugged as though he wasn’t bothered by this whole situation. “Sometimes all you have to do is look at someone to get a good read on a situation. When you mentioned breakfast the expression on your face clearly said you couldn’t wait for me to leave.”
Tony sighed looking down to the floor for a minute. When he looked back at McGee he looked more curious then anything. “What exactly did you want out of last night?” The question was dangerous and McGee wasn’t sure he wanted to answer it. In the end though he knew he had to try. This whole ordeal had been risky he couldn’t back out now that it was time to show his hand. “Well, I was hoping that...well thinking actually...that maybe you might want to...huh continue to see...well not see but still want to maybe meet up to...um...you know what never mind.”
McGee looked down in embarrassment attempting to move past Tony. The hands on his arms tightened slightly and McGee recognized it as a silent request not to leave. He wanted to deny Tony but couldn’t find it in himself to. “No Tim I need to know what you’re thinking.” Tony paused for a moment starting up a gentle stroking with his hands. McGee tried to think of something to say but he needn’t have worried since Tony continued.
“Did you just want to have sex or did you want more? I can’t make any promises Tim. I’m not very good at the relationship thing but I can promise you there will be no one else.” McGee looked at Tony in shock not believing what he was hearing. ‘Tony would like to be in a relationship? With him? I never thought he would want anything besides sex. I never thought I could be that lucky.’ Tony smiled nervously when McGee remained silent.
“I know it’s hard to believe but I can keep it in my pants when I’m with someone.” He tried to make a joke out of the statement but McGee could see the hurt shining just below the surface of Tony’s eyes. McGee gave Tony a bright smile to offer reassurance. “No I know you’re loyal Tony I’m just surprised that you want to try for something more than sex. I didn’t think you would want to go any further.” Tony looked down his expression revealing his hesitation at disclosing his feelings on the topic.
“Well like I said I can’t make any promises but you’re not just some guy Tim. I’ve known you for years, we work together, we’re friends; I trust you.” He looked up connecting their gazes and McGee had to hold back a gasp at how unguarded Tony looked. “For the first time in my life I think the relationship thing could work.” Tony leaned forward until their lips were a few inches apart. “I do know what we could be is worth the risk.”
They stayed that way for some minutes McGee still trying to process everything. Finally though the silence got to Tony and he spoke again. “So what do you think?” He let loose a grin that was supposed to show he was at ease but McGee could see the fragility behind it easily. “I want that too Tony. I want to at least try.” The smile on Tony’s face turned into one of genuine happiness. McGee smiled back at him letting Tony see his own exhilaration.
McGee leaned forward suddenly closing the small distance between them to kiss Tony softly. With soft laughter they broke apart their smiles still intact. Tony’s eyebrows lifted as though he suddenly remembered something. “Are you hungry? I can go see what I have in the kitchen.” McGee laughed as he nodded, his diminished appetite suddenly back in full force. Tony pulled away, starting to turn before he stopped again to face McGee.
“While I’m gone why don’t you undress again?” Tony reached forward snagging McGee’s tie with two fingers and proceeded to slowly pull the tie off his neck. “I can show you just how much fun it can be to not do anything on a day off.” Tony let the tie drop to the floor before turning around to head to the kitchen. McGee grinned already liking Tony’s plan. He didn’t waste any time getting undressed once he was left alone.
It was only about ten minutes before Tony came back to announce breakfast was ready. After the brief announcement Tony headed back toward the kitchen apparently not bothered in the least that he was still nude. McGee was not anywhere near that comfortable naked so he looked around the room for a solution. Following a hunch he went into the bathroom and was relieved to find a bathrobe. He pulled it on, hoping Tony wouldn’t mind, before heading into the kitchen.
Tony gave him a raised eyebrow when he entered the kitchen but he refrained from saying anything. McGee looked down at his plate to see one weak looking scrambled egg. He looked to the right to see another smaller plate with a buttered piece of toast on it. Directly in front of his breakfast was a beer mug filled with milk. He looked up at Tony with amusement. Tony shrugged as he bit into his own egg.
“I didn’t have much. We’re going to have to order out for lunch.” McGee’s smile widened. He looked down again picking up his fork to eat his egg. “Did you need salt? I know I have some packets around here.” McGee took a bite of the egg shaking his head. “No it doesn’t need salt. It’s actually very good. Thank you for making me breakfast.” Tony grinned taking a gulp of his milk. When the cup was placed back on the table Tony had a small milk mustache.
McGee was getting ready to say something when Tony wiped it away with the back of his hand. “It was no problem.” McGee finished up his breakfast with the two of them exchanging amused glances. When they were both done, Tony collected some of their dishes and dropped them in the sink. McGee waited for him thinking that he would like to head back into the bedroom. He could use a little more sleep but was up for more if Tony was in the mood.
Instead of leaving though Tony came to stand in front of him effectively trapping him between the other man and the kitchen table. He gave Tony a curious look but all Tony did was lean in to give him a soft kiss. Pulling back Tony looked him up and down in an appraising fashion. “So who told you it was okay to wear my robe?” McGee raised an eyebrow letting a sardonic smile cross his lips. “Just because you’re a nudist doesn’t mean everyone is comfortable flaunting their assets to the world.”
Tony let a playful grin surface on his face as his hands settled on McGee’s chest. As he spoke he started to slowly stroke his hands downward. “There are many benefits to being a nudist. Would you like me to educate you on the subject?” McGee played along looking indecisive. “I don’t know if I should trust your lesson plans. Why do I have a feeling that I’ll be arrested in several states if I follow your teachings?” Tony’s hands had reached his waist and circled to settle on his hips.
“I never said everything I taught you would be legal, but that’s part of the fun.” McGee suddenly squeaked as he was lifted off his feet and placed on the kitchen table. He looked at Tony with wide eyes. He knew Tony was strong but never thought he would be able to lift him like he weighed nothing. Tony smiled arrogantly at his response but McGee was still too shocked to try to wipe the look off his face. Tony looked down gently gripping his knees.
With slow movements he pushed them apart so that he could stand between McGee’s legs. When they were almost chest to chest Tony looked up again. McGee felt his heart starting to beat rapidly as Tony lifted his hand to gently grip McGee’s chin. His eyes closed a fraction of a second before Tony connected their lips. The kiss was still soft but unlike the previous one that morning Tony deepened it so he could explore the inside of McGee’s mouth.
As they kissed Tony used his other hand to grab the ties on McGee’s robe. McGee shuddered as he felt the robe fall open. Tony let both of his hands rest on McGee’s chest once more only this time his fingers slid under the edges on the robe and started to push the robe toward his shoulders. McGee let Tony push the covering away until the robe pooled at his wrists only then did he move. Lifting his arms he freed himself from the garment completely before wrapping his arms loosely around Tony’s shoulders.
They continued to kiss for some minutes more before Tony slowly pulled away to start kissing down McGee’s neck. The further down he went McGee’s head tipped back to give him room. He hissed when Tony sucked on a small patch of skin. “I have to say I do good work.” McGee gave him a look wondering what he was talking about. Tony pulled back slightly so their eyes could meet pausing in his movements. McGee lifted a hand placing it on his neck.
His eyes widened as he felt the multiple hickeys on his neck. Tony grinned making McGee go with his first instinct. The push to his shoulder only made Tony laugh though. “I can’t believe you did this last night. Most of these I won’t be able to hide.” Tony grinned that over confident grin of his rubbing his nails against his chest. “What can I say? It comes with the territory. There are certain risks to sleeping with one Anthony DiNozzo.”
Tony gave him a lust filled gaze but McGee kept his expression blank. “Like Chlamydia.” Tony’s jaw dropped his eyes widening in shock. McGee laughed leaning forward to place a kiss on Tony’s lack mouth. Tony got over his shock to return the kiss for a few seconds before pulling away to give McGee a stern look. “You think that’s funny do you? Just for that I’m going to take you so hard you won’t be able to sit down on Monday.”
McGee gave him a cheeky grin using one hand to play lightly with Tony’s nipple. When he spoke he made sure his voice was breathy hoping to spike Tony’s arousal even more. “Do you promise?” Tony crashed down onto his mouth thoroughly claiming every inch he could reach. McGee felt his hands grip his hips as Tony moved close enough to rub their erections together. He moaned sucking on Tony’s tongue when he was able to catch it.
Suddenly he heard the clink of dishes but he didn’t worry about it for now. It didn’t sound as if anything had broken. Tony pulled back abruptly but still maintained the connection of their hips. McGee opened his eyes dazedly wondering why Tony had pulled back. A few seconds after his eyes were open a gold foil wrapper came into his line of sight. He blinked wondering if he was imagining things. “I want you to put it on me.” Tony was able to make the statement also sound like a request.
McGee took the condom but just looked at it for a minute. “Where did you get this from?” Tony grinned. “It was under my plate.” McGee’s eyes widened before they narrowed. “You planned this?” Tony suddenly paused in his movements getting a look that radiated caution. “I was hoping after we talked in the bedroom that you might want to have sex again.” McGee let his confusion show. “I still don’t understand. You didn’t go toward the nightstand before you left the room.”
Tony visibly relaxed when he realized McGee wasn’t mad. “I have some in the end tables in the living room.” McGee looked at him blankly. “Like I said. Chlamydia.” Tony gave him a look before he reached down to wrap both of their erections in his fist. He tightened his grip stroking them both for a few seconds. McGee moaned trying to thrust into the touch. Getting the point he tore open the condom wrapper and reached down between them.
Tony withdrew his hand giving McGee room to slip on the condom. When he was finished McGee reached back up to slide his hand into Tony’s hair. He tightened his grip slightly pulling Tony forward. The other man followed his lead until they were involved in another heated kiss. McGee felt Tony’s hands grip his hips tightly scooting him closer to the edge of the table. He could feel his body move forward the robe helping him to slide along the table.
The heat of Tony’s body came closer as Tony moved into position. He gasped into Tony’s mouth as he was breached. There was still some pressure at first but he was still relaxed enough from last night that he didn’t feel any pain. When Tony stopped moving he gave a groan at the still new feeling of fullness. He wrapped his legs around Tony’s thighs and squeezed his inner muscles tightly. He swallowed the strangled sound Tony made as the other man shuddered.
Once Tony got himself under control he started to move. The thrusts were deep and strong. The teasing they engaged in already putting them both close to the edge. Tony shifted slightly and McGee shouted into their kiss as that spot that had been so abused last night was rubbed. The next thrust didn’t deliver the same jolt and just as McGee’s body was calming down it was struck again. McGee whimpered as he realized what Tony’s game plan was.
He pulled out of their kiss needing to draw in more air. He panted heavily his arms wrapping tightly around Tony’s shoulders as he was tortured by ecstasy. He felt the grip on his hips tighten as Tony increased his speed. He leaned forward burying his heated face in Tony’s neck. Tony also leaned forward slightly his heated breath glancing over McGee’s back. McGee’s body was covered with sweat by the time Tony’s thrusts started to become more erratic.
He felt Tony shift again only this time every time he gave an inward thrust he struck McGee’s prostate. McGee buried further into Tony’s neck as he released all sorts of strangled noises. He felt the heated breath leave his back as Tony tilted his head back so he was facing the ceiling. McGee didn’t really see him move his vision filled with the sweaty skin of Tony’s neck and shoulders. He didn’t need to though because he could feel the movement Tony made through the muscles in his neck.
He released his death grip on Tony’s shoulders to use one hand to grip the side of Tony’s head. The strands were damp with sweat but McGee still managed to get a solid handhold. Tony shifted again as he rolled his hips ending the movement in a hard jab. That move was McGee’s breaking point. He found himself thrown into his orgasm with no warning. He screamed into Tony’s neck as his hands tightened on Tony’s body, the heated liquid of his release spreading between them in hard spurts.
After a few minutes, McGee had regained enough awareness to feel his body contracting hard against Tony’s member. The thrusts inside of him had become jerky as Tony strove toward his own orgasm. McGee relaxed letting the tenseness caused by his orgasm leave his limbs so that Tony’s had more freedom of movement. It was apparently just what Tony needed as a few seconds later he moaned brokenly before tensing and pushing inside him deeply.
He let his hands run soothing strokes over where they were currently resting. One hand petted Tony’s hair while the other ran over the muscles in his back. Even though he was exhausted McGee couldn’t help ogling Tony. The numerous muscles in his body were standing out in sharp relief so McGee didn’t even try to find the urge to ogle. As Tony seemed to near the end of his orgasm his hips started to twitch inward his body trying to prolong his climax. McGee squeezed his inner muscles trying to help make it as pleasurable as possible.
When Tony’s hips stilled he slumped forward curling around McGee’s body. They stayed that way for some time Tony trying to catch his breath and McGee still trying to soothe his now trembling limbs. When Tony lifted his head again their gazes connected briefly before Tony leaned in to give McGee the gentlest kiss he’d ever received. McGee’s eyes opened slowly when Tony withdrew. He became confused at the soft look on Tony’s face.
He was just about to ask Tony what he was thinking when Tony broke the moment by looking up past his shoulder. He seemed to be bracing himself and McGee didn’t understand why until he felt Tony pull away from his body. He bit his bottom lip only partially obscuring the moan that wanted to escape. Tony leaned his head down once they were no longer connected to place a small peck on McGee’s neck. “Do you want to take a nap before lunch?”
McGee nodded tiredly accepting Tony’s help off the table. He didn’t worry about putting the robe on again, as leaning heavily against each other, they headed toward the bedroom. They fell into Tony’s mussed up bed their still sweaty limbs automatically wrapping around each other. McGee fell into sleep resting against Tony’s sweaty collarbone knowing this wouldn’t last but thankful for whatever time he could get.
