He took his hand ,and brushed her hair out of her face.
She opened her eyes.
“ Clark” .
“ I have something to talk to you about”.
Vesta sit up .
“ Remember when you told me that your parents were dead?”
“ Yes”
“ Vesta your parents are still alive”.
“ Where are they Clark?”
“ What are their names?”
He put his hand on top of hers.
“ They both live here in Smallville.”
“ Lana Lang is your mother”, and …
“ And what Clark?” ,She looked up at him with her angelic little face.
I’m your father Vesta.”
“ So I’m part alien?”
“ Vesta what are you talking about?”
“ I saw your spaceship in the cellar the other day”.
“ When your mommy was getting some jars off the shelve I looked under the tarp”.
“ I have also seen you do thing working in the yard like lifting up the tractor”.
Clark looked at her with concern on his face.
“ Clark you don’t have to worry”.
“ I know how it is to be treated like a lab rat”.
“ I can keep a secret”.
“ Where do you come from”? ,she asked enquiringly.
“ My birth parents sent me here from a planet called Krypton before it was destroy”.
“ What were your parents names?”
“ Their names were Jor El ,and Lara”.
Vesta smiled.
“ I had a doll named Lara”.
Clark laughed.
Vesta looked at a picture on Clark’s dresser.
“ Who is that pretty girl”.
“ That is our cousin Kara”.
Chloe peaked her head in the door
“ Clark everything okay”?
“ Yes Chloe we’re fine.”
Vesta pondered the next question.
“ Do you have any weakness?”
“ Yes , if am near green meteor rock it could kill me”.
“ Green meteor rock effect me another way”.
“ How does it effect you”?
“ It makes me well if I get sick”,
“ I was also told the reason I’m so intelligent for my age is that it effected the cellular structure of my brain.” .
Clark could see in her eyes she was about to ask another question.
“ Clark tell me about Krypton”.
Her green eyes beam with excitement.
“ Vesta when I feel the time is right I will tell you more”.
“ When the time is right?” ,she crinkle her nose.
Clark notice that it was the same way Lana crinkle her nose.
“ Clark do you promise?”
“ Yes, I promise I will tell you about Krypton”.
“ Okay tell me about Lana”
“ I can tell some of Chloe journalistic sleuthing has rubbed off on you”.
“ Chloe told me the early bird get the scoop” .

“ What?” , Vesta question.

“Chloe has always had her own ways with words”.
“ Vesta Lana is one of the most intriguing women I know beside Chloe”.
“ I will take you to meet her after I tell her about you”.
