The next day on Michaela’s day off she decided to go hang out with Penny, Bernadette and Amy at the mall to hopefully get a start on looking for a wedding dress considering the fact that her and Sheldon just got engaged the night before. Midge was working so she couldn’t come and it was the same thing for Michaela’s mother and sisters too.
“ Man I can not believe that you and Sheldon just got engaged!”, Penny exclaimed.
“ Yeah I can’t either! It seems like just yesterday you guys started dating and now you’re planning a future together!”, Bernadette exclaimed.
“ Yeah I know! It seems like time has gone by so fast! I can’t wait to marry him!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ and maybe have kids?”, Amy asked.
“ Oh I definitely know that I want kids someday. I want a boy and a girl. It’s been my dream ever since I was a little girl to be a mother.”, Michaela said.
“ Well hold onto that dream because you just might get it Michaela.”, Penny said.
“ Thanks for the reassurance Penny.”, Michaela said.
“ No problem bi*ch.”, Penny said.
“ Hey there’s the bridal shop! Let’s go in and find you a dress Michaela!”, Bernadette exclaimed as she pointed at the bridal shop straight ahead of them.
“ Sounds good to me, let’s go!”, Michaela exclaimed as they entered the shop.
“ Hello, how are you ladies doing today?”, a female salesperson asked with a smile on her face when she approached the 4 women.
“ We’re doing good.”, Amy, Michaela, Bernadette and Penny said together.
“ Great. And who’s our bride-to-be?”, the salesperson asked.
“ Um that would be me. I’m looking for a dress. My name’s Michaela.”, Michaela said with a smile as she put her hand up.
“ Ok and Michaela is there a certain style you’re looking for?”, the salesperson asked.
“ Maybe something a little subtle but with a little flare.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright I’ll see what I can do for you. Why don’t you come with me to the back while we let your entourage wait out here.”, the salesperson said.
“ Ok. See you in a few minutes guys.”, Michaela said as she followed the salesperson.
“ Alright we’ll be waiting right out here Michaela!”, Penny said as the 3 of them each took a seat in a chair. Michaela then tried on a bunch of dresses and when she found one she liked she purchased it and then later that evening the women decided to go out to a nightclub to celebrate.
“ Here’s to another great Girls Night Out and to Michaela saying yes to the dress!”, Penny exclaimed as she held up her drink.
“ Yeah!”, the 4 women exclaimed as they clinked glasses together and took a sip of their drinks together.
“ Thank you so much you guys for going to the mall with me today. I would have never found my dress without you.”, Michaela said.
“ No problem Michaela. What are friends for?”, Bernadette said.
“ I’m so excited! I can not wait for this wedding to come!”, Amy exclaimed.
“ Me too, there’s so much we got to get done before the big day though! We got to order the cake, the food, get our bridesmaid dresses, the tuxedos, the place we’re going to have the wedding at, music, etc. Oh and that reminds me, speaking of music, what kind of music do you want at your wedding Michaela?”, Penny asked.
“ Well it’s a funny thing Penny I would actually like any kind of song being played but one of the big main ones I would want is, well you guys might laugh at this but ever since I was a little girl I’ve always told my family that if I ever had a wedding someday I would want at least this one song being played called Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ Really?!”, Penny, Amy and Bernadette exclaimed as they stared at her in shock.
“ Yeah why not? It’s a fun song!”, Michaela said.
“ Yeah I guess it is kind of fun, kind of upbeat too.”, Bernadette said.
“ I agree, but, why that song Michaela?”, Amy asked.
“ Well like I said Amy it’s fun and another reason is because my brother Charlie played it so many times when we were growing up that it just got stuck in my head and I couldn’t get it out no matter what I did! It was like I got obsessed with it due to the fact that it’s pretty catchy!”, Michaela laughed.
“ Yeah figures your doofus of a brother would do something like that! It’s just what boys do!”, Penny laughed.
“ Yeah that’s totally true Penny!”, Michaela laughed but then she said, “ Although I just don’t know what Sheldon’s going to say when I tell him that.”
“ Well I’m sure he’s going to want whatever’s going to make you happy. I mean think about it, you’re going to be his wife. This day is going to be about both of you.”, Amy said.
“ I guess but I don’t know. Maybe it’s a little stupid.”, Michaela said.
“ No no Michaela it’s not stupid at all, it’s what you want and if Sheldon doesn’t understand that then he’s the biggest idiot on the face of this planet!”, Penny exclaimed.
“ You guys really think that’s not too much to ask?”, Michaela asked.
“ Yeah no it’s not too much to ask at all! You want that, you got it!”, Amy, Penny and Bernadette exclaimed.
“ Ok I’ll run it by Sheldon and see what he says!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Call him and do it right now before you forget.”, Bernadette said.
“ Alright.”, Michaela said as she took her phone out, dialing Sheldon’s number.
“ Hello?”, Sheldon answered.
“ Hi Sheldon it’s me. What are you doing right now?”, Michaela asked.
“ I’m sitting in my spot watching tv with Leonard. Why?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Because I have another request that I want to run by you with regards to our wedding that we’re planning.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright and what is it?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Well I was wondering if you would be ok with this one song among several others being played at our wedding be Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne?”, Michaela asked as she then held her breath.
“ Interesting. Can I listen to it for a second and get back to you in a moment?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Sure, take your time. I’ll wait.”, Michaela said.
“ Thank you.”, Sheldon said before he put his phone down and said, “ Leonard mute the tv for a second please.” as he pulled up his laptop and opened it.
“ Ok but why Sheldon?”, Leonard said as he put the tv on mute.
“ Because Michaela’s on the phone and she’s asking me what I think about this one song that she wants to be played at our wedding among several others.”, Sheldon said as he started searching ITunes for the Kevin Rudolf song.
“ What song does she want?”, Leonard asked.
“ I believe she wants this one.”, Sheldon said as he pressed play on the song. As the two physicists sat there listening to it Leonard asked in shock, “ Michaela wants Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne?”
“ Yes apparently so because that’s what she asked me. Alright it’s not too obnoxious.”, Sheldon said. He paused the song and as Leonard unmuted the tv Sheldon picked his phone back up and said, “ Alright I just listened to the song and if that’s what you request then I guess I shall allow it.”
“ Really?! Thank you so much Sheldon, you’re the best fiancé ever!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ My pleasure. I love you.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ I love you too. Bye.”, Michaela said with a smile before she hung up and exclaimed, “ Success! He just said yes to the song!”
“ Hell yeah Dr. Whackadoodle! That’s what I’m talking about! Nice going bitch!”, Penny exclaimed as she high fived Michaela.
“ Thanks Penny! Oh my god I can not believe that I’m about to have my dream wedding! This is going to be the best day of my life!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Yeah it will! Woohoo!”, Amy exclaimed. The 4 of them hit the dancefloor finishing out their night with crazy dancing. Then shortly after Michaela got home from the club Midge showed up for a little late night visit.
“ Hey bestie how did the dress shopping go today?”, Midge asked.
“ Oh it went great Midge! I got myself a dress for the big day!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Yay! I’m so happy for you! I can’t wait to see it!”, Midge exclaimed as she clapped her hands together making the small tall gift bag she had in her hand sway a bit.
“ I know, I’m so excited! Just as much as I’m excited about this whole wedding coming up! I can not believe I’m going to have a future husband!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ I know me too and um… your former neighbor Mr. Scott Landry told me to give you this.”, Midge said as she handed her best friend the bag she had in her hand.
“ Aww how sweet. What’s this?”, Michaela asked as she took it from Midge and started digging in it, pulling out the tissue paper.
“ I don’t know, an engagement gift maybe? I didn’t look to see what was in it Michaela but i would imagine that it’s probably a bottle of alcohol considering the size of the bag and the weight of it.”, Midge said.
“ Yeah I would say that’s pretty accurate Midge.”, Michaela said as she finished pulling out the tissue paper and pulled out a bottle of champagne that was in the bag.
“ Oh nice it’s a bottle of champagne. Oh Scott Landry you didn’t have to do that.”, Michaela said as she shook her head with a giddy laugh.
“ Wow, how thoughtful is that man?!”, Midge exclaimed.
“ Oh he’s very thoughtful and… wait a second there’s a card in here too.”, Michaela said as she pulled out the little card that came in the bag as well.
“ Well read it bestie, what does it say?”, Midge said.
“ It says: Hi Michaela, this is just a little something I picked up for you at the store after I heard that you just got engaged to Sheldon and I wanted to give you something special for it to show you that I’m very happy for you and I hope you have a very nice life with your new man. I also hope that you really like this champagne because this is one of my favorites. Miss having you as a neighbor but just know I’m thinking about you always. Your’s truly, Scott Landry.”, Michaela said as she read the card.
“ Aww that’s so sweet.”, Midge said.
“ I know. I got to call him back and thank him for that because that is just too generous.”, Michaela said as she pulled her phone out and called her former neighbor.
Ring ring ring!
“ Hello?”, Mr. Landry answered his landline phone.
“ Hi Scott it’s Michaela. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the champagne you sent over here to my house. That is just too generous, you didn’t have to do that.”, Michaela said.
“ No it’s my pleasure Michaela, I wanted to give you something special for your big day.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Well I’m so glad you did, I miss having you as a neighbor too but something’s just have to move forward in life.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes unfortunately so that’s true. I really hope you and Sheldon have a very nice wedding.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Thank you and speaking of that you don’t have to do this or feel obligated to, but, I was wondering if you wanted to come to my wedding.”, Michaela said.
“ Of course Michaela, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Ok I’ll make sure to let you know the details of when the wedding is when I find out and I’ll make sure to send you an invitation in the mail.”, Michaela said.
“ Great. Listen it was very nice talking to you but I got to go to bed.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Ok you too and thank you again for the champagne.”, Michaela said.
“ No problem, good night.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Good night Scott.”, Michaela said before she hung up.
“ Did you seriously just invite him to your wedding Michaela?!”, Midge asked.
“ Yes I did Midge, he’s a friendly guy and I really missed having him as a neighbor. He’s done a lot of nice things for me over the years including taking care of my pets for me at the times that I needed somebody to watch them due to the fact that I was afraid to leave them alone at home with Bruce, fearing that he was going to kill them.”, Michaela said.
“ Yeah that makes a lot of sense. If I was in your situation I would do the exact same thing for somebody like that.”, Midge said.
“ Exactly, it’s a favor. It’s what you do to repay somebody for their kindness.”, Michaela said as she nodded her head.
“ That’s definitely true. Well I got to go, it’s late. I’ll talk to you tomorrow bestie.”, Midge said.
“ Ok Midge good night. Talk to you tomorrow.”, Michaela said as she hugged Midge before Midge left to go home. She then put the champagne bottle on her wine rack and said, “ Max, Oakley, come with mama. It’s time to go to bed.” Max and Oakley instantly trotted behind her heels into the bedroom and Michaela shut the door. As she climbed in bed after getting her nightgown on her pets jumped up into the bed as well to settle down for the night.
“ You two are going to have a new daddy soon, a much nicer one than that last jerk who’s name doesn’t deserve to be mentioned anymore.”, Michaela said to her dog and cat with a smile as she was petting Oakley and gently scratching Max under his chin. Max began to purr while Oakley wagged her tail a bit giving Michaela kisses on the face.
“ I know, you’re so happy Oakley and it makes me happy. I love you so much sweet girl.”, Michaela cooed as she kissed Oakley on the top of her head. Then she said, “ And I love you too Max, you’re a sweet boy.” as she gave him a kiss as well before she turned the lights out and went to sleep. The next morning Michaela decided to talk to Midge on the phone telling her more details about what went on last night before she got ready for the day and drove to work.
“ Good morning Mr. Jenkins.”, Michaela said with a smile as she clocked in and headed to her register.
“ Oh good morning Michaela. Did you enjoy your day off yesterday?”, Mr. Jenkins asked as he was restocking the newspapers stand.
“ Yes I very much did, thank you for asking. I actually went to the mall with my girl friends and I got myself a wedding dress for the big day.”, Michaela said as she was ringing up somebody’s items when they got in line to pay.
“ That’s great, good for you.”, Mr. Jenkins said.
“ Thanks, I really like it! It’s a nice pretty white dress with a lot of bling on it!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Well that’s what counts, as long as you like it and can live with it.”, Mr. Jenkins said.
“ That’s so true!”, Michaela exclaimed. Michaela then worked the day away and when she got home she saw several cars parked in front of her house which she knew belonged to her cousins.
“ Hey cuz!”, Kenny, Louise, Alaina, Darby, Taylor, Gina, Jared, Carter, Marywhether, Ronnie and Bonnie exclaimed when Michaela walked in the door as her pets came up to her to greet her.
“ Uh hi… how did you guys get in my house?!”, Michaela shrieked in surprise.
“ Darby picked the lock.”, Louise said as she pointed at Darby.
“ What?! Darby?! You can’t do that, I have a security system!”, Michaela hissed as she narrowed her eyes at her cousin.
“ Don’t worry about that Michaela! I disabled it immediately when we came inside.”, Darby exclaimed as he scratched the back of his head.
“ Well regardless for future reference, please don’t do that! I don’t want the cops showing up at my house thinking that my cousins are trying to break in!”, Michaela scolded.
“ Would you relax Michaela?! We just came over here to give you something you silly!”, Gina laughed.
“ Well what is it you guys? I just got home from work.”, Michaela said as she put her purse down on the counter.
“ This.”, Taylor said as she handed Michaela the bag she had in her hand.
“ Is this another engagement gift?”, Michaela asked as she took the bag from Taylor.
“ Yes.”, her cousins said together at the same time.
“ Go ahead and open it.”, Bonnie said.
“ Ok.”, Michaela said as she reached into the bag and pulled out a large metal horseshoe with some words on it.
“ What the…? Is this from all of you guys?”, Michaela asked in confusion as she stared at her cousins.
“ Yeah.”, her cousins said.
“ Darby picked it out, had it made and we all went along with it.”, Marywhether said with a smile as she pointed at herself and her cousins.
“ Ok Darby what the hell is this?!”, Michaela asked with a smirk.
“ Don’t you get it?! It’s a welcome sign for your home! It says Welcome The Coopers!”, Darby laughed.
“ Yeah but why?!”, Michaela asked as she started to laugh.
“ Come on, your fiance’s from Texas right?!”, Alaina laughed.
“ Yes he is but what does that have to do with this?!”, Michaela laughed as she held up the horseshoe.
“ Ok I get it, it’s stupid! I’ll just take it back!”, Darby laughed but as he tried to grab the horseshoe back Michaela yanked it away from his grip and laughed, “ No no Darby I’m sorry, I didn’t get the gist of it at first! It’s not stupid, I love it! Thank you!”
“ Oh good because it costed me like 300 dollars to make that!”, Darby laughed making the others laugh as well.
“ Dude! You spent 300 dollars on this sh*t?! Are you nuts?!”, Michaela scolded as she pointed at the horseshoe.
“ Oh come on give me a break Michaela! It’s a nice gift!”, Darby laughed.
“ Darby Elias Seemans sometimes you can be so ridiculous! You better hope my fiance doesn’t kill you for this!”, Michaela laughed.
“ Hey I don’t mind, he’s gonna be family soon anyway!”, Darby laughed.
“ Oh shut up you doofus!”, Michaela laughed as she smacked him upside the head.
“ Ow, don’t do that! My head is not a melon!”, Darby laughed as he rubbed his face.
“ Yeah Darby the melonhead!”, Ronnie interjected as he playfully started batting his hands over Darby’s head in a repetitive motion like a drum.
“ Ow ow ow Ronnie! Don’t do that!”, Darby laughed as he shoved Ronnie’s hands away.
“ Hey that looks like fun Ronnie! Let’s all do it!”, Kenny laughed.

“ Yeah put the lime in the coconut!”, Taylor laughed.

I said my head is not a melon!”, Darby laughed as he started cowering on the floor from his cousins who were jokingly tapping their fists over his head laughing their butts off. Oakley got a little riled up at this and started jumping on Darby, panting and wagging her tail all over the place.
“ No Oakley not you too! Stop it stop it stop it stop it!”, Darby laughed as he was suddenly being attacked with dog kisses on his face.

‘ I so love my family!’, Michaela thought in her head as she continued joking around with her cousins. But in the midst of it Michaela’s phone began to ring.
“ Hey you guys shut up, it’s my fiance!”, Michaela shouted at her cousins who were still being obnoxious with each other as she picked up her phone to see Sheldon’s caller ID on the screen before she answered it with, “ Hello?”
“ Hello Michaela it’s Sheldon.”, Sheldon said.
“ What’s up?”, Michaela asked.
“ Oh nothing except I just set up an appointment for us to go to a local bakery today to get our wedding cake ordered. They want us to come there to do some sampling of their different kind of cakes they have.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok, my cousins are at my house right now but if you want I could tell them to leave so I can come pick you up and we can go there.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes would you please mind? The bakery is on a really tight schedule right now.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok, just give me a second Sheldon.”, Michaela said before she put her phone down and said, “ Hey I don’t mean to be rude but can you guys please leave now? Sheldon’s on the phone and he said that he just set up an appointment for us to go to a bakery to sample some wedding cakes.”
“ Sure no problem Michaela, come on you guys let’s book. Michaela’s got things to do for her wedding.”, Louise said as she started ushering everybody out of the house.
“ Later bride-to-be cousin!”, Darby exclaimed.
“ Bye and thank you so much for the engagement gift you guys! It’s going to look real nice on my house!”, Michaela exclaimed as she watched her cousins leave. Then she picked her phone back up and said, “ My cousins just left. I’ll be by to pick you up in one second.”
“ Very well I shall be expecting you very shortly. I love you.”, Sheldon said.
“ Love you too, bye.”, Michaela said before she hung up, grabbed her keys and purse and headed back out the door to her car but not before hanging the brand new welcome sign up next to the door that her cousins just gave her as an engagement gift. She knew it was only going to be a matter of time before she could officially say that she’s a Cooper.
‘ I can’t wait to marry you Sheldon Cooper. You my everything.’, Michaela thought with a smile as she looked at the sign while pulling out of her driveway. She picked Sheldon up at his and Leonard’s place and they headed to a local bakery where they taste tested a bunch of cakes before they decided on a chocolate one with strawberry cream filling. Once they ordered the cake they then decided to get the others together to prepare and plan out the rest of the preparations for the wedding which went on for the next few months until one week before the wedding Michaela was dragged to Las Vegas by her mother, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, female cousins, some of her female coworkers, Mrs. Cooper, Missy, Meemaw, Midge, Penny, Amy and Bernadette for her bachelorette party while Sheldon stayed in Pasadena with the guys for his bachelor party.
Vegas hotel room…
“ Bachelorette in the house people! Let’s get this party started!”, Michaela exclaimed over the music as she stood in the center of their very large hotel room. She then started to dance around like a madwoman to the music.
“ Yeah girl get it!”, Mavis exclaimed as she started dancing too.
“ Oh Mavis shut up! That’s not cool!”, Michaela laughed as she playfully slapped her sister on the shoulder.
“ I beg to differ Michaela!”, Mavis laughed.
“ Well this is it sis, your last week ever as a Mansfield! Next week you’ll officially be a Cooper!”, Kira exclaimed as she bumped hips with her sisters.
“ I know and it’s insane Kira! I’m so excited! I can’t believe I’m actually marrying the love of my life in exactly one week!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Well believe it bitch because it’s coming fast! Yippie ki-yay!”, Penny exclaimed.

“ Sorry for party rockin’!”, Matthew shouted in a sing song voice of the LMFAO song that was blasting through the speakers of the entire joint.
“ Yeah what he said! Let’s kick this spaceship high in the air!”, Charlie shouted as he pointed at his brother.
“ Charlie Mansfield that’s not appropriate man!”, Mr. Mansfield scolded his son.
“ Aww come on Dad let me live a little would ya?! This is a bachelor party for Sheldon!”, Charlie laughed as he pointed at Sheldon.
“ Yes well I would prefer you to not act like an idiot Charlie! You’re my future brother-in law and so is Matthew!”, Sheldon hissed at Charlie as he pointed at him and Matthew.
“ Yeah I know that man, I’m not a morron!”, Charlie laughed.
“ I never said you were!”, Sheldon shot back.
“ Ok Sheldon, buddy, can we tone it down? Screaming at your future brother-in law is not going to do anything for you.”, Leonard said.
“ Leonard I was not screaming at him.”, Sheldon said as he rolled his eyes at his best friend.
“ Yeah you kind of were dude.”, Raj said.
“ Must you Rajesh?!”, Sheldon shot back.
“ Never mind, shutting up.”, Raj said before he shut his mouth.
“ Well this is it Sheldon, you ready to marry Michaela next week?”, Howard asked.
“ Wolowitz I’ve been ready since the start of this engagement to her.”, Sheldon said.
“ Well that’s good to hear. Are you still going to let her have that song she wants?”, Leonard asked.
“ Leonard I have told you a thousand times, yes!”, Sheldon said.
“ What song?”, Stuart asked.
“ Michaela wants us to play this song called Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne at our wedding.”, Sheldon said.
“ Well if she wants that then I think Raj and I might have an idea for that.”, Howard said with a smirk as he pointed at himself and Raj.
“ Oh good Lord.”, Sheldon said as he rolled his eyes again.
“ What are you idiots thinking of doing?”, Leonard asked with a look of suspicion on his face.
“ I was thinking Raj and I could just perform it ourselves with our band instruments.”, Howard said with a smirk.
“ Really?! You two are going to perform that in a roomful of people in front of Michaela?!”, Leonard asked in complete shock.
“ Yeah why not dude!”, Howard and Raj said.
“ It could be fun!”, Howard said.
“ Howard the wedding is a week away! How are you two gonna pull that off?!”, Leonard hissed.
“ Leonard I have a masters in engineering and I’m pretty sure I can figure this out.”, Howard said.
“ Ok fine, knock yourselves out then.”, Leonard said as he rolled his eyes.
“ Dear Lord I can already see this being a disaster waiting to happen! What are y’all trying to do?! Embarrass me in front of my new future wife and family?!”, Sheldon spat out.
“ Sheldon relax, we know what we’re doing.”, Howard said.
“ You better know or else you numbskulls are going to die for ruining my wedding!”, Sheldon hissed.
“ Can it you wacky nut!”, Howard shot back.
“ Hey did I just hear you guys are going to try to perform Let It Rock at the wedding?!”, Charlie exclaimed.
“ Yes you did Charlie! Raj and I are going to try to do it!”, Howard exclaimed.
“ Dude that’s one of my all time favorites, it totally rocks! Nice touch with trying to give my sister the dream wedding she’s always wanted when she was a kid!”, Charlie exclaimed.
“ No problem Charlie! Your sister’s a great friend to us anyway!”, Howard exclaimed.
“ Thanks man!”, Charlie exclaimed. Both parties continued for the next few hours and immediately after them Howard and Raj immediately disappeared into the Wolowitzes garage to practice the Let It Rock song for the wedding. They first listened to the actual track itself before they attempted to play it. They screwed it up a few times before they finally managed to get the hang of it.
“ Hey Bernie, you want to see what Raj and I got?!”, Howard shouted into the house from the garage.
“ Sure Howard, I’m coming in just a second!”, Bernadette called back as she turned off the sink, dried her hands with a towel and walked out to the garage to see what her husband was up to.
“ Alright I’m here. What is it?”, Bernadette asked as she stood in the open garage doorway.
“ Alright Raj and I have been working on this Let It Rock song for a little over 5 hours now and this is what we got. Ready Raj?”, Howard asked his best friend as he stood in front of his electric keyboard.
“ Yeah call it dude!”, Raj interjected with an electric guitar over his shoulder.
“ Ok 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4!”, Howard interjected as the two started playing the song while singing the lyrics right in front of Bernadette who was completely shocked at how fast they learned to play the song and to play it very well. Once they were done Bernadette exclaimed, “ Oh my god, Michaela’s going to love that! How did you two pull this off so fast?!”
“ With the power of my genius brain of course! I have a masters in engineering but that doesn’t matter, success Raj!”, Howard exclaimed.
“ You said it dude, we are so ready for this wedding! That rocked!”, Raj exclaimed as he smacked hands with Howard.
“ Yeah it did!”, Howard exclaimed. Then one week later, the big day arrived. Everyone gathered in a local church which was chosen by Sheldon’s mother and took their seats and places waiting for the ceramony to start. Then once Michaela was all ready she entered the aisle with her father on her arm. She was wearing a typical white wedding dress with a lot of bling that she had described to her boss and her father was wearing his 5 star general military uniform instead of the typical wedding attire. Everyone stood up and turned to look at Michaela as her father was walking her down the aisle to where Sheldon was waiting for her at the alter. Her bridesmaids which consisted of her sisters, Sheldon’s twin sister Missy, female cousins and female friends were standing on one side of the alter while her brothers, Sheldon’s older brother Georgie, male cousins, and male friends stood next to Sheldon on the other side.
“ You look beautiful Michaela, just like your mother when I married her.”, Mr. Mansfield said with a smile as he looked at his daughter.
“ Thanks Dad.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ Who gives this woman away to this man?”, the pastor asked when they reached the alter.
“ I do.”, Mr. Mansfield said as he released his arm from Michaela’s allowing her to take Sheldon’s hands as her father sat back down next to her mother.
“ Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today by the grace of God to join these two hearts together in holy matrimony.”, the pastor said but as he kept speaking Sheldon instantly began to look over his shoulder glaring at his mother to which to she responded by scolding, “ Shelly pay attention! Do not look at me, look at Michaela!” which immediately made him focus his attention back on Michaela. The two of them then shared their vows before they said I do.
“ By the power vested in me by the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”, the pastor said.
“ Lord have mercy!”, Mr. Mansfield interjected as he stood up clapping his hands with everyone else as Sheldon and Michaela then shared a kiss. Max let out a happy meow while Oakley let out a happy howl.
“ May I present to you Dr. Sheldon and Mrs. Michaela Cooper!”, the pastor exclaimed as everyone started going nuts. Then at the reception Howard and Raj began to get set up with their instruments.
“ Let’s rock Raj!”, Howard exclaimed with his fingers hovering over the keys of his keyboard.
“ Oh yeah let’s go bitches! This is for you and Sheldon, Michaela!”, Raj exclaimed as the two men started the song.
“ Yes! Let’s go!”, Michaela exclaimed as she started dancing with her best friend Midge.
“ Oh here we go, yeah you idiots let’s get it!”, Leonard interjected as he started dancing with Penny.
“ Dr. Leonard Hofstadter shut up!”, Sheldon interjected.
“ Cut it out Dr. Sheldon Cooper and just go dance with your wife!”, Leonard shot back.
“ Yeah what the hell are you waiting for you whackadoodle?! You’re a married man now! Go dance with Michaela!”, Penny interjected at her friend.
“ Alright alright don’t bark at me woman!”, Sheldon interjected as he walked over to Michaela, grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him before the two of them began sharing their first dance together as husband and wife. Michaela’s wedding ring glistened under the flashing disco lights as her and Sheldon were waltzing around to the song Howard and Raj were slamming out on their instruments. Sheldon’s wedding band was glistening as well. Everyone else was clapping along to the music including Mr. Landry who had a big smile on his face watching the touching scene unfold between his former neighbor and her new husband.
“ Yeah get it cuz!”, Darby laughed as he was dancing like an idiot with his cousins.
“ Darby shut up!”, Michaela laughed.
“ Best wedding ever! Don’t you think so Leroy?!”, Mrs. Mansfield laughed as she was shaking her shoulders to the music.
“ I agree with you Julie, 100%! One daughter married, 4 to go!”, Mr. Mansfield laughed as he kissed his wife.
“ I’m a married woman!”, Michaela exclaimed as she continued dancing with her new husband.
“ Yippie ki-yay!”, everyone cheered. Once the song was over the reception continued on with a series of pictures being taken with the song Last Friday Night by Katy Perry playing in the background along with the cutting of the cake and a bouquet toss to which Mavis caught among the frenzy of women trying to grab it at the same time.
“ It’s mine yo!”, Mavis exclaimed as everyone cheered.
“ Nice job sis!”, Michaela exclaimed. Once the party was over Michaela and Sheldon then left for their honeymoon in New York City. Michaela woke up the next day from the wedding feeling extremely happy and she couldn’t believe that she was now a married woman. As she walked out onto the balcony of their hotel room to take in the slightly breezy morning sunlight hitting her face a pair of gentle lanky arms suddenly wrapped around her midsection from behind her.
“ Well good morning, wife.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he kissed her.
“ Good morning, husband. How did you sleep last night?”, Michaela asked with a smile as she kissed him back.
“ I slept great. You?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Me too. I can’t believe it, I’m officially a Cooper.”, Michaela said.
“ Indeed you are, Mrs. Michaela Janet Cooper.”, Sheldon said.
“ It has a nice ring to it. I just love hearing you say that.”, Michaela said.
“ And I love you. What do you want to do with our day?”, Sheldon asked his wife.
“ I don’t know yet, let’s just go take a walk around the city for a bit.”, Michaela said to her husband.
“ Alright if that’s what you wish to do then we shall go do that.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok.”, Michaela said as the married couple then began to get dressed for the day. They then headed out into the city to look for something to do. They came home two weeks later and first stopped by the apartment so that Sheldon could collect his things and move them out before they drove back to Michaela’s house which was now their home.
“ Where did that come from?”, Sheldon asked as he pointed at the horseshoe welcome sign while they were walking up the walkway after getting out of the car.
“ My cousins gave it to me as an engagement gift for us. Darby had it made and got them all in on it, it’s a welcome sign. See, it says Welcome The Coopers.”, Michaela said as she pointed at the sign.
“ Aw very amusing, it’s lovely!”, Sheldon said as he let out a gaspy laugh.
“ Well of course it is Sheldon, we’re married now and we’re about to walk into our house to be greeted by our pets!”, Michaela said with a giddy laugh as she started fumbling with her keys.
“ Indeed.”, Sheldon said as Michaela stuck her key into the keyhole and turned the nob but as she was trying to disarm the security system Max suddenly sprinted out the door making Michaela shriek, “ Ah Max no! Get back here!”
“ I got him honey, Max come here! Let’s go and Oakley what are you doing out here too?! Get back in the house now!”, Sheldon said as he grabbed Max with one hand while ushering Oakley back into the house with his other one.
“ Hi sweet babies, mommy and daddy are home from our honeymoon! We missed you so much!”, Michaela cooed as she knelt down on the floor with Sheldon while getting bombarded with love from both pets who were very happy to see them.
“ Yes hi it’s daddy, can I get some kisses? Aw thank you Oakley.”, Sheldon cooed said as he gave Oakley some kisses on her head while she was kissing him on the face.
“ Well this is it, home sweet home. This is where our lives together as husband and wife start.”, Michaela said as she stood up with Sheldon giving him a kiss on the lips.
“ That’s most certainly true. I can now officially say that this is my house, my dog, my cat and my woman.”, Sheldon said as he pointed at everything that was now legally his including his beautiful wife.
“ Yes I think we’ve already established that!”, Michaela said with a giddy laugh as she kissed him again.
“ Yes well shall we go get my stuff?”, Sheldon asked.
“ You mean our stuff and yes!”, Michaela laughed. Then she said, “ Ok back up Max and Oakley, we’re just going to get our stuff out of the car. You don’t need to run out the door again.” as she ushered the two pets back. She decided to put Oakley out in the backyard for the moment while she put Max in the bedroom, shutting the door so that she could prop the front door open making it easier to move things into the house. Then once everything was moved in Michaela then shut the front door again while Sheldon let Oakley back into the house and opened the bedroom door again so that Max could come out again.
“ Well this is a new chapter and our family.”, Sheldon said with a smile as the two of them sat down on the couch later that evening together.
“ Yes it is and I couldn’t be any happier.”, Michaela said with a smile. Sheldon then picked up the tv remote and turned the tv on just as Max and Oakley were settling down on the floor right by their feet. As Michaela put her head on his shoulder Sheldon’s cell phone started ringing. It was Leonard.
“ Hello?”, Sheldon answered when he picked up his phone.
“ Hey buddy how’s the married life going so far?”, Leonard asked as he was sitting in his living room chair in his apartment.
“ It’s actually going pretty well Leonard. It feels good to be able to start my own future family. How’s everything going at your place?”, Sheldon asked.
“ It’s good, a little quiet without you here though.”, Leonard said.
“ Yes well I’m very certain that you’ll survive.”, Sheldon said.
“ Yeah I guess you’re right. It’s just going to take some time getting used to the idea of you being married and not my roommate anymore.”, Leonard said.
“ Yes well enjoy your apartment because you deserve it for putting up with me all these years.”, Sheldon said.
“ Thanks and you enjoy your house, your wife, your dog and your cat because you deserve it too for putting up with me as well.”, Leonard said.
“ Thank you but this is of by no means the end of an era Leonard Hofstadter. We will still see each other from time to time at your place as well as work, you can’t get rid of me that easily.”, Sheldon said.
“ Good to know Sheldon Cooper.”, Leonard said.
“ Yes well I’m going to hang up now. I will talk to you later.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok sounds good. I’m actually going to go take a shower now anyway. Talk to you later and see you around ex-roomie.”, Leonard said with a smile.
“ And you as well ex-roomie, goodbye.”, Sheldon said with a smile before he hung up.
“ Leonard?”, Michaela asked.
“ Yes he just called me to ask me how my married life is going so far and I told him that it’s going pretty well.”, Sheldon said.
“ Well that’s good. At least he’s not sad that you moved out.”, Michaela said.
“ Precisely. Well shall we go to bed now?”, Sheldon asked as he shut the tv off.
“ Yeah I’m getting tired from that flight home we had. This will be our first night in our marital bed.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes that’s correct. Come on, let’s go to bed. Oakley, Max, bedtime.”, Sheldon said as he picked Michaela up into his arms carrying her to the bedroom with the pets trailing behind him at his heels. They all fell asleep moments later but then a half hour later into the night Sheldon suddenly wakes up sitting up in the bed looking like he was thinking about something which immediately caught Michaela’s attention as she sat up and asked, “ You ok honey?”
“ Yes I’m fine. I’m just missing Leonard a bit.”, Sheldon said.
“ I know, it’s always weird the first night but it’s going to be ok. It’s just going to take some time getting used to the fact that you guys aren’t roommates anymore but we’ll still see him around. It’s not like he passed away.”, Michaela said.
“ That’s very much true. Good night Michaela, I love you.”, Sheldon said as he laid back down and shut his eyes.
“ Good night Sheldon, I love you too.”, Michaela said as she did the same thing. Meanwhile back at 4A, Leonard was trying to fall asleep after he had taken a shower but no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t seem to get his mind to turn off. He began missing Sheldon a lot even though he had just moved out that day. Leonard huffed in frustration as he suddenly got up out of bed, left his apartment and found himself walking out of the building and down the street to Michaela and Sheldon’s house.
Bang bang bang!
“ What the…?”, Michaela asked in confusion as she sat up in bed before getting out to head to the door.
“ Good Lord who could possibly be at the door at this hour?”, Sheldon said as he did the same thing. The married couple then went to the front door and opened it to see Leonard standing there in his sleepwear, holding his inhaler.
“ Hey you guys.”, Leonard said.
“ Leonard what are you doing here?”, Sheldon asked as he stared at his ex-roommate.
“ Look, I know you guys just got married, but, I can’t sleep! All I can think about is YOU, you crazy bastard!”, Leonard hissed as he pointed at Sheldon in frustration.
“ Oh ok I see what this is, you’re missing me aren’t you?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Yes, and it’s ridiculous! I’m a grown man! I should be able to live by myself but I can’t! You and I have lived with each other for several years annoying the hell out of each other from time to time and it’s so hard to get over the fact that we’re not going to be living together anymore!”, Leonard hissed as he rubbed his face taking his glasses on and off as he was doing so.
“ I know I know this is very weird for both of us due to the fact that we’ve been living with each other for so long but over time we will adjust to our new situation.”, Sheldon said.
“ Yeah I guess but I just don’t know. I can’t even remember that there was a point where I didn’t have you in my life. We’re more than just roommates, we’re best friends.”, Leonard said with a sigh.
“ Yes that’s true.”, Sheldon said as he nodded his head.
“ Do you want to crash on the couch? Is that what you’re telling us?”, Michaela asked her friend.
“ Yes, please Michaela? This will really help my sanity and keep me from going absolutely nuts the whole night.”, Leonard asked as he rubbed his head.
“ Sure, come in Leonard.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ Yeah get in here buddy.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ Thanks.”, Leonard said with a smile as he walked into the house past his married friends and flopped down on the couch in the living room. He instantly began to feel a bit better knowing that he was near his best friend again.
“ If you need anything else just holler for us.”, Michaela said.
“ Will do.”, Leonard said as he began to feel sleepy.
“ Good night Leonard.”, Sheldon and Michaela said.
“ Good night Sheldon and Michaela.”, Leonard softly said.
“ Alright, Oakley, Max, back in the bedroom.”, Sheldon said as him and his wife walked back to their bedroom with the pets trailing behind them. The moment the married couple got back in bed after they shut the door was when Sheldon heard Leonard start snoring out in the living room.
“ Some things just never change.”, Michaela said with a smile as she shook her head.
“ Indeed, good night Michaela.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he kissed her.
“ Good night Sheldon.”, Michaela said as she kissed him back before the two of them finally drifted off to sleep while listening to Leonard snoring his head off in the living room. Then the next morning they woke up and walked into the kitchen with the pets trailing behind them so that Michaela could make a pot of coffee just as Leonard was waking up on the couch in the living room.
“ Good morning Sheldon, good morning Michaela.”, Leonard said in a somewhat groggy voice as he rubbed his eyes before putting his glasses on.
“ Good morning Leonard.”, Sheldon and Michaela said as Michaela was shuffling around the kitchen.
“ Ack, Oakley! Hi, good morning! Yes I see you!”, Leonard exclaimed as Oakley suddenly started attacking his face with doggy kisses. Max jumped up onto the couch as well, purring and rubbing his body all over Leonard.
“ Well it looks like two certain somebodies over there are happy to see you!”, Michaela said with a giddy laugh as she was placing a coffee filter into the coffee maker, pouring some coffee grounds into it.
“ Yeah, so I’ve noticed!”, Leonard laughed as Oakley was still giving him kisses on the face, letting out happy whining and wagging her tail.
“ Meow!”
“ Yes hi Max, I see you too. What’s up buddy?”, Leonard said as he started gently scratching Max under the chin.
“ Did you sleep ok last night?”, Sheldon asked as he was rummaging through the fridge to grab the milk carton to pour himself a bowl of cereal.
“ Yeah I did. I think I just needed to be near you.”, Leonard said as he rolled his eyes.
“ You are such a riot Dr. Leonard Hofstadter.”, Sheldon said with a smirk.
“ So are you Dr. Sheldon Cooper! Man I am really going to miss this.”, Leonard chuckled.
“ And I as well, but, you’re always welcome to come here anytime you want.”, Sheldon said.
“ Yeah, totally. We love having you around Leonard.”, Michaela said as she nodded her head.
“ Thanks, I love having you guys around too. Well, I should probably go home now. Thanks for letting me spend the night, I really needed this.”, Leonard said as he stood up to get ready to leave.
“ Well wait a minute Leonard, don’t you want to stay a little bit longer? I’m making coffee.”, Michaela asked.
“ Thanks but no Michaela, I got to get used to living by myself.”, Leonard said as he shook his head.
“ Ok but like we said you’re more than welcome to come here anytime you want, same with our other friends. No one is being shut out just because Sheldon and I are married now. We’re all still very much very good friends with each other and we will be til the day we die.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ That’s good to know. Well, I guess I’ll see you guys later?”, Leonard said with a smile.
“ Yes you will.”, Sheldon said. Leonard then hugged Michaela and he held his hand out to Sheldon who surprisingly grabbed it acting like he was going to shake Leonard’s hand only to surprise him completely by pulling him into a heartfelt hug. Leonard instantly began to get somewhat emotional and cried, “ Please take care of yourself buddy.”
“ I will and you do the same. Please don’t die of a broken heart just because I’m not living with you anymore.”, Sheldon said.
“ Will do. See ya.”, Leonard cried.
“ Bye.”, Sheldon said as he watched Leonard pull away and walk out the door. Penny came out of her apartment just as Leonard was walking up the stairs.
“ Leonard what are you doing? Did you go somewhere last night?”, Penny asked.
“ Yeah I was at Sheldon and Michaela’s house. I spent the night there because I couldn’t sleep last night in my room.”, Leonard sadly said.
“ Why?”, Penny asked but the moment she did Leonard instantly broke down, throwing his arms around her crying into her shoulder.
“ Shhhh, it’s ok. What’s with these tears?”, Penny asked as she started rubbing gentle circles on his back.
“ I’m just going to really miss having Sheldon as a roommate! I mean I’m happy for him that he got married and all but it just feels so weird that he’s not going to be living here anymore!”, Leonard cried.
“ I know, it’s going to be a big adjustment for all of us to get used to but it’s going to be ok. I don’t blame you one bit for being sad, he’s your best friend.”, Penny said.
“ Yeah he really is! He may drive me nuts sometimes but at the end of the day that’s all he is, my best friend and colleague!”, Leonard sniffled as he started brushing his tears away with his fingers.
“ Why don’t you come in my place for a bit. It might help you take your mind off of everything for a while.”, Penny said.
“ Ok.”, Leonard said with a sigh as he followed Penny into her apartment. The two chatted for a while before Leonard finally decided to go back to his apartment that was now his alone knowing that Sheldon was no longer living there with him. At the suggestion of Penny’s, Leonard decided to sit at his desk and listen to a meditation tape through a set of wireless headphones to help calm his anxiety. He closed his eyes and began focusing his breathing to which surprisingly helped him because when he was done it was like he almost completely forgot about the situation of Sheldon moving out of the apartment to live with his wife. He continued to do this for the next several days setting aside a time in the day at the exact same time each day and it slowly but surely really helped him.
“ So who’s excited for Comic Con coming up?”, Raj asked his friends as they sat in the university cafeteria one day on their lunch break.
“ Me!”, Howard, Sheldon, Leonard and even Raj exclaimed as they each put a hand up.
“ Yes and once again I can officially say that I will be going as The Flash, that is if my wife Michaela permits me to do so.”, Sheldon said.
“ Of course she will, she loves you and I’m The Green Lantern.”, Leonard said.
“ I’M BATMAN!”, Howard said in an imitation of Batman before he said, “ And uh oh it’s looks like you’re Aquaman again Raj.”
“ Dude Aquaman sucks!”, Raj shot back at his aerospace engineer best friend.
“ Oh and that’s my fault?”, Howard shot back.
“ No, I just don’t want to be Aquaman again ok.”, Raj said in frustration.
“ Yes well whether you want to or not at the end of the day you’re going to end up being him anyway. It’s not The Justice League without Aquaman.”, Sheldon said.
“ Whatever Sheldon.”, Raj said as he rolled his eyes.
“ Cute.”, Sheldon said in somewhat of a sarcastic way even though he still didn’t really understand the meaning of sarcasm. Then he turned to Leonard and asked, “ So Leonard how have you been doing recently?”
“ I’ve been doing better Sheldon. I’ve actually been recently doing these meditation sessions everyday thanks to Penny suggesting it and they have seemed to really help me cope with your absence at the apartment.”, Leonard said with a sigh.
“ Well that’s great! I told you that you would survive without me.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ You’ve been meditating Leonard?”, Howard asked in shock as he stared at his friend.
“ Yeah Howard it’s sort of a coping mechanism for me and like I said it seems to have really helped. I don’t really think about Sheldon’s absence that much anymore. I think I’m finally at a place in time where I feel ok about Sheldon being married to Michaela and having his own space, his own life, etc.”, Leonard said.
“ Well it makes me very happy to hear you say that because I’ve been getting used to the new situation as well and I couldn’t be happier about it. I’m happy that I can just be married and still have my very good friends around.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ That’s great Sheldon. So Michaela’s a good wife, huh?”, Leonard asked.
“ Oh she’s the best. I have nothing to complain about when it comes to her.”, Sheldon said.
“ Damn she’s such a great person. That Bruce guy is an idiot for what he did to her.”, Howard said.
“ Yes well Wolowitz have you forgotten that the man is dead and has been for a long time now?”, Sheldon asked as he narrowed his eyes at his friend.
“ No I haven’t Sheldon I was just saying something.”, Howard said. The conversations continued until their lunch break was over and they all went back to work. Then later that day after Michaela picked Sheldon up to take him home to their house something suddenly seemed a little off, perticularly with Michaela.
“ Ugh, I’m so beat and my feet are killing me.”, Michaela groaned as she instantly slumped down on the couch when they got inside.
“ Well that’s odd. Are you alright Michaela?”, Sheldon asked in slight concern at he stared at his wife.
“ Yeah I’m sure I’m fine Sheldon, I probably just had a long day at work.”, Michaela said in a somewhat subtle voice but almost immediately after she said that was when Sheldon and Michaela began to notice how strange Oakley and Max seemed to be acting. Oakley kept walking back and forth periodically pressing her nose into Michaela’s stomach and sniffing it with the tip of her tail swishing slightly while Max was pressing and rubbing his body against Michaela’s stomach as well purring loudly which was very odd because Michaela had never seen him do that before. Michaela’s feet also looked a bit swollen as well.
“ Max, Oakley, what’s up with you two? Why are you acting so weird and pressing into my stomach like that?”, Michaela said as she looked down at the pets who were continuously doing the very odd behavior they were displaying at the moment.
“ Yeah this is very weird. What is it? What are you trying to tell us?”, Sheldon cooed as he stared at the two pets who were still keeping up their weird behavior. Oakley suddenly let out a happy bark at Michaela, wagging her tail as she kept pressing her nose into Michaela’s stomach.
“ Oakley you are really being weird right now!”, Michaela said with a giddy laugh.
“ Indeed. Um, Michaela, this might be a very odd question but… when did you have your last period?”, Sheldon asked with a bit of suspicion on his face.
“ I don’t know, I think I might have missed it this time although I thought I experienced some slight bleeding but that was 2 days ago. I haven’t had anything since then except for some slight cramping.”, Michaela said.
“ Interesting and your feet look a little bit swollen too. Are you sure you’re alright honey?”, Sheldon asked in concern when he noticed how swollen Michaela’s feet seemed to look.
“ Yeah I’m fine, it’s probably just because I’ve been standing up all day at work.”, Michaela said.
“ I’m not so sure if that’s the case though. This also might be an odd question but could Max and Oakley’s sudden odd behavior be contributing to the fact that you could possibly be pregnant?”, Sheldon asked in suspicion.
“ Oh please Sheldon, me pregnant? I don’t think so.”, Michaela said as she shook her head.
“ Well why don’t you take a couple tests just to be sure. Because it really seems like Max and Oakley are trying to tell us something.”, Sheldon said.
“ Well ok, I’ll go to the pharmacy and pick up some because I would really like to solve this mystery of why our dog and cat are acting so weird right now.”, Michaela said but as she slowly stood up to walk towards the door she hissed, “ Ow ow ow my feet are killing me!” Max and Oakley began to follow behind her but she hissed, “ Uh uh, Max, Oakley, back up! I’ll be back in a few minutes honey.”
“ Alright and I’ll be waiting.”, Sheldon said. Michaela then left the house and drove to the pharmacy, picked up two pregnancy tests and drove back home so that she could take them.
“ Hi Sheldon I’m back.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh good. Did you get the tests?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Yes I bought two of them and I’m just going to go take them in the bathroom right now.”, Michaela said as she held up the two pregnancy tests that she picked up.
“ Alright sounds good.”, Sheldon said.
“ Oakley, Max, get back! You’re not coming with me to the bathroom!”, Michaela hissed as she ushered her pets back so that she could go into the bathroom and shut the door. She then peed on the two sticks and set them on the counter to wait for the results. After a few minutes she slowly emerged from the bathroom to see Sheldon standing there waiting to hear something from her.
“ I’m afraid to look at them. Do you mind looking at them for me and telling me what they say?”, Michaela said in a nervous voice as she stared at her husband.
“ Sure, one moment please.”, Sheldon said as he walked past Michaela into the bathroom to look at the two while Michaela waited outside. Sheldon then slowly came out a minute later carrying the two tests in his hand with a shocked expression on his face.
“ Well? What do they say?”, Michaela asked as she held her breath. A smile started to spread across Sheldon’s face as he slowly turned the two tests around for Michaela to see the results. They were both positive.
“ Oh my god I’m pregnant! That’s why Oakley and Max were acting so weird! I can’t believe this!”, Michaela gasped in shock when she saw the two plus signs.
“ I can’t believe it either… we’re going to be parents.”, Sheldon said as he continued smiling. The song Afterglow by Ed Sheeran began to play in the background as Michaela suddenly started crying happy tears.
“ Are you ok?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Yes I’m fine, I’m just happy! I’m gonna be a mother and you’re gonna be a father, oh Sheldon!”, Michaela happily cried as she threw her arms around him.
“ I love you!”, Sheldon happily cried as he kissed his wife.
“ I love you too!”, Michaela happily cried as she kissed him back. Then she said, “ I got to tell my family. They’re going to be so happy.”
“ Well then call them right now.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok.”, Michaela said as she picked her phone and decided to first call her father so that he could tell the whole family.
“ Hello?”, Mr. Mansfield answered.
“ Hi Dad it’s me Michaela. I’m… calling you because I just found out some really exciting news.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ Well don’t keep me hanging sweetheart, what is it?”, Mr. Mansfield asked.
“ I’m… pregnant.”, Michaela said.
“ What?!”, Mr. Mansfield asked in shock.
“ I said I’m pregnant.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh Lord have mercy! Are you kidding me?!”, Mr. Mansfield exclaimed as a smile spread across his face. He couldn’t believe what his daughter had just said.
“ No I’m really not Dad, I’m serious! I just found out a few minutes ago! You’re going to be a grandfather!”, Michaela exclaimed as more happy tears started flowing from her face.
“ Mazal tov, ha ha! Julie get in here now!”, Mr. Mansfield exclaimed as he started doing a happy dance.
“ What?! What are you screaming about Leroy?! What is it?!”, Mrs. Mansfield exclaimed as she came rushing in from the kitchen.
“ Michaela’s on the phone and she just said she’s pregnant!”, Mr. Mansfield exclaimed.
“ Pregnant?! Are you serious?!”, Mrs. Mansfield exclaimed as a smile started spreading across her face.
“ Does the look on my face look like I’m kidding to you?! No! We’re gonna be grandparents!”, Mr. Mansfield exclaimed as he pointed at his face.
“ Oh Leroy this is amazing! I can’t believe one of our daughters is having a baby!”, Mrs. Mansfield happily cried as she embraced her husband.
“ I know me too! Go tell the family!”, Mr. Mansfield exclaimed before he continued talking for a bit before he hung up. Mrs. Mansfield then ran off grinning from ear to ear as she was searching for the rest of the family so that she could tell them the good news. When she finally managed to get everyone together she exclaimed, “ Everyone listen up, we have some very exciting news!”
“ Well what is it?!”, the whole family asked.
“ Michaela and Sheldon are going to have a baby!”, Mrs. Mansfield exclaimed as the whole family celebrated just as Mr. Mansfield was running up behind his wife, throwing his arms around her again as they shared a kiss with each other.
“ Hooray for a new generation!”, Darby exclaimed as he threw his fist in the air while everyone around him was screaming with excitement and embracing each other. They were so happy that a new family member was going to be coming into their lives soon.
