Vesta

Vesta open her eyes , and look out the window.

She got dress press, and went downstairs .

Clark ,and Martha were sitting at the table.

“ Good morning Princess”.

“ Good morning” , she said opening the refrigerator door taking a drink out of the orange juice container.

“ Vesta Kent young ladies she know better than to do something like that”.

“ Nana I’m not a lady yet”.

“ I’m just a little girl”.

Clark looked up from his morning newspaper.

“ Mom she has a point”.

“ Clark stick to reporting”.

“ Your stand up routine needs work’.

Vesta sat down beside him , and started to spread some strawberry jam on some toast .

“ Princess Nana is right you should not drink out of the juice container.

“ Daddy I was really thirsty”.

“ Next time get yourself a glass first okay”.

“ Okay I will”.

After breakfast Vesta gave Clark a kiss on the cheek, and went outside to play.

A few minute later Clark heard her scream out.

“ Daddy !!!” .

When he found her she was sitting on the ground holding her ankle”.

Clark could see blood coming out between her fingers.

He looked over at Shelby ,and he had a dead snake in his mouth.

Clark rush her inside the house.

“ Clark what happen?”

“ Mom she was snake bitten”.

Her body temperature was starting to rise .

“ Nana get some green meteor rock it will heal me”.

Martha rushes to get the rock from the box she had it lock in”.

“ Clark stand back she put it on the bite , and within a couple of minutes Vesta was heal , but she was still a little feverish.

Martha put the rock back in the steel box.

Clark looked over on the next to Shelby where he had drop the dead snake. He picks it up.

“ Mom I never seen a snake like this before”.

“ I’m going to take it to Arthur he major in herpetology along with marine biology in college he’ll be able to tell me why a very deadly snake just bite my baby”

Clark speed off with the dead snake in his hand.

Arthur you have to help me Vesta was just bitten a few minutes ago.

Arthur saw the snake in Clark’s hand .

“ Clark that type of snake is the most deadliest snake there is” .

“ Clark I’m sorry Vesta want have long to live”.

“ Arthur she is okay”.

“ Mom used a chuck of green meteor rock to heal her”.

Clark laid the snake on a table.

“ Clark this snake is a very rare specie”.

“Its indigenous to South Africa”.

“ I’ll get to work on finding out why it show up on the farm” .

“ Clark tell the little water nymph I said hello, and she is a very lucky little girl”.

“ Normally a snake like that could kill a grow man of our size”.

Clark told Arthur goodbye , and headed back to the farm .

When he got back Vesta was playing with Shelby , and Acheron outside.

“ Let me see your ankle”.

“ Daddy its okay”.

Chloe comes walking out the front door.

“ Clark I just got here a few minutes ago your mother told me what happen”.

“ I’ve already started doing some research”.

“ Luthor Corp has been developing a vaccine for military troops”.

“ The vaccine is derived from the snake that bite Vesta.

“ There was a cargo going to a Luthor Corp facility last night but did not make it”.
