Tommy couldn’t figure out which day made him the happiest right now, the day he and Adam got married or when he found his daughter. Tommy sat on the couch smiling at the sleeping girl on the bed he and Adam shared, his beloved husband resting with an arm wrapped around her. As soon as they had walked in Aria asked them to go to her and Zack’s room while she took pictures of the little girl’s bruises but the thought of being away from Tommy didn’t make that work out. He sat on the bed in front of her talking to her as Aria snapped away, removing her jeans revealing more bruising on her legs and lower torso they didn’t notice when she was in Tommy’s lap on the ride back.
They had plan to go out get some food and maybe browse a few shops after wards, Tommy’s idea was to treat his little girl to a toy she wanted and maybe a set of clothes. After the photos of her bruising Aria took a sample of her DNA by swabbing the inside of her cheek and did the same to Tommy. Lydia ran back to talk with Tommy and Adam as the two finished up making out what they needed to submit the tests to the local P.D who had been notified of their work to find Lydia.
“So are you like my dad’s best friend?” Lydia asked Adam as she climbed back in Tommy’s lap.
“Well if Tommy is your Daddy like we’re positive of, I would be your daddy too, I’m married to you daddy.” Adam said as she smiled and asked “Could I call you Dad too?” Adam was stunned for a moment as he nodded saying “Of course you can.” Tommy watched for the first time since they had been married Adam on the verge of tears.
Tommy jumped at a knock on the door grabbing it before it woke up his daughter. Zack meeting him on the other said “Hey we’ve got everything ready and were about to head out.” Tommy nodded as Zack looked back at the little girl sleeping on the bed with Adam besides her sitting up on the bed woken up by the sound of the door. Tommy softly shook the little girl “Lydia, wake up baby we’re going to get something to eat” Her sleepy blue eyes open and she smiled at her father who kissed her forehead. Adam helped her up, brush her hair, and pull it back.
Tommy giggled as Lydia clutched the animal she had made herself, no special sounds or clothes, just a stuffed husky puppy she had named “Renji” Zack had asked her why she wanted to name him that “It means ‘Yearning Love’ its kind of like me. I was looking or someone who loved me and I found my Dads” Tommy reached down scooping up the little girl hugging her. She said softly “I love you Daddy” Tommy couldn’t help but smile as he said “I love you too baby girl.”
The night before the hearing was proving to be a rough one as Tommy turned over on his side facing Adam. What if she wasn‘t his? There was the resemblance but that still did not prove anything, it would all be in the DNA results. Sleep didn’t want to be his friend as easy as it had been the last few days. He felt a hand touch his shoulder as he turn back over Lydia standing there clutching Renji as she asked softly. “Daddy can I sleep with you and papa Adam? Please?” Tommy smiled as he pulled back the covers as she climbed in, soon falling to sleep.
“Mr. Oliver how long have you been searching for your daughter?” the judge asked as he looked over the files, Tommy mostly wished the old bat would just get it over with and tell what the results were. “Ever since I heard about her mother’s death a few years ago, it wasn’t until recently Agent Taylor offered his services.”
