The Hofstadter/Cooper residence was in a frenzy, that Friday night as they got ready for Retro Game Night. Dr. Sheldon Cooper in an up-rage about Leonard inviting Joules over for the night. He was going on about not having enough controllers or spots for her to play games with them, because usually there was only four of them, so thus a controller for every player if they played on the Nintendo 64, or two teams of two if they played any games on the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, NES, or Atari Systems. Finally Leonard couldn't take it anymore.

“Sheldon!” he yelled.

“Yes?” replied the scientist.

“Will you just stop! We will find a solution to the problem. She may not even want to play, she may want to just watch.”

“Why would she want to watch? Retro video games are – in my opinion – one of the best types of game out there. When the Atari company was founded in 1972, they started a revolution of video gaming in the home setting, bringing the ability to play video games, which could only be played in an arcade, into the private setting of home life. Now Leonard, tell me why she wouldn't want to participate in that legacy that the Atari company left for us?” Asked Sheldon.

“I don't know, Sheldon. For all I know, she will kick all our asses at Centipede.” scoffed Leonard.

“Personally, I don't care if she kicks my ass at anything, I'd just like to get a piece of hers!” Said Howard Walowitz, who had heard Leonard's comment as he walked in through the door with Raj.

“Howard! You are not going to get a piece of her!” Said Leonard. “She is a student, and I thought, to help her with her stress addled brain a few nights of gaming here with us may help her soothe her nerves for the big exam I'm going to be giving her at the end of the semester.” said Leonard, being perfectly innocent to the door he now left wide open for Howard to waltz through.

“Oh, I'd love to give her a big exam!” Said Howard winking at Raj.

“Howard! Would you please, knock it off!” Said Leonard.

“Okay, sorry, dude, didn't know it would bother you that badly.” Said Howard as he hitched up his already too tight trousers.

“Thank you,” said Leonard, his nerves getting on edge, as the time Joules was supposed to be there was getting closer.

“A girl, is going to be here?” Asked Raj, his eyes getting big.

“Yeah, but its no big deal, Penny's here all the time and you do just fine.” said Leonard.

“Yes, but I'm used to Penny, I can actually whisper to Howard around her now. I used to be completely mute.” Said Raj.

“Want me to get you some beer?” Asked Leonard.

“Sure... maybe if you do that I won't make a complete fool of myself.” said Raj.

“He do that already, with out the alcohol, and he's worse with grasshoppers.” Howard whispered to Leonard, they both start cracking up.

“What?” asked Raj.

“Oh nothing...” said Leonard as he went to the bowl to pick up his keys, and slipped out to the party store to get Raj some beer.

Joules was nervous, not about the gaming of course, she could probably whip all their asses. It was the almost alone time with Leonard, plus she didn't know what his other friends were like. She kind of knew what Dr. Cooper was like because of how much Leonard talked about him both in class and outside of class. She didn't even know what their names were. They probably knew hers by now! They probably knew, at least, that she was a student of his. Eh, oh well, she looked at the clock, time to get going. Joules grabbed her keys from beside her dorm room door and headed out to the car, making sure to lock the door behind her.

Once she got in the car, she pulled out her map quest directions and looked them over. She made sure to have them start from the Chinese place down the street, as that's where she was getting food before she headed over to Leonard's. She decided to get food first as she wasn't going to get a break to eat once she got to Leonard's. After she ate, she took off for his place. The directions were very direct taking her exactly to his place, and knowing that Dr. Cooper didn't drive she parked in any old spot, knowing she wouldn't get a lecture from the over zealous Doctor.

Getting out of her car, she brought a bag with her, with two changes of cloths, pajamas, tooth paste, tooth brush, make up, deodorant and her contact lenses case with her contacts in them, for just in case her glasses got busted. She figured if things went far tonight she wanted to be prepared, plus she brought a few of her favorite Retro Video Games in case they didn't have them, and wanted to play them. She brought Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario brothers, Mario Party Two, Mario Party three, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo, and Super Smash Brothers. She sighed hitched her back pack up on her back and headed into the building.

The building was nice but, as she noticed by the big yellow caution tape, the elevator was broken, like Leonard said it would be. Joules took the steps, thanking God, she decided to dress comfortably, and was wearing sneakers. As she encroached the top of the flight of stairs to the fourth floor, she heard a lovely sing song voice come from the right. She could tell it was a girls voice, so she immediately assumed it was Penny – Leonard's neighbor from across the way. As her foot hit the landing she looked to her right, and there was Penny, she was petite and blonde. “She's very pretty, and very hot.” Thought Joules to herself, “I wouldn't mind a chance with her.”

Joules walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder, as Penny was busy with her door. It looked like her key was stuck in the lock.

“Yes, Leonard!” she said, in an irritated tone. Joules immediately put a hand over her mouth so she wouldn't giggle, took a breath and said.

“I'm flattered that you think I'm Dr. Hofstadter, but I'm just a student, my name is Joules.” She put her hand out so Penny could shake it. Penny took it and shook it.

“I'm Penny, Leonard's neighbor, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be such a bitch, my key's stuck in the lock and I can't get it out, and I can't get into my apartment either...” she pouted.

“She looks so cute when she pouts!” Thought Joules to herself, and trying not to drool, she cleared her head and said.

“Well, looks like to me you tried to put it in too high... may I try to get it out?” asked Joules.

“Sure, I don't see any harm in it, I mean, you couldn't do any worse than I have!” said Penny.

“Are Dr. Hofstadter and Dr. Cooper home?” asked Joules.

“Yeah Leonard and Sheldon are home, along with Raj and Howard.” said Penny.

“Good I need to ask them for some dish soap.” Said Joules with a smile, and headed over to 4A's door, and knocked.

“You're knocking, I usually go right in.” Said Penny. Just as she reached for the door handle it opened and Leonard stood looking at them, his mind temporarily flashing to a fantasy of the girls making out in the hallway, then snapping back to reality.

“Hey Joules, Hey Penny, what's up?” said Leonard.

“Well, Penny got her key's stuck in the door...” said Joules, and as she said that, Penny interrupted.

“Don't tell them that!” She whined and made a sound of frustration.

“Anyways!” said Joules. “I was wondering if I could use your dish soap.” said Joules.

Leonard opened the door and Penny strolled inside and Joules decided to follow. Leonard went out into the kitchen, he went past the living room which consisted of a red chair and a red couch with a coffee table, and a TV with gaming equipment in front of it, only which she could assume was for tonight, past two desks, one his and one Sheldon's by Joules guess, and into the kitchen which had an island in the middle with the refrigerator on the wall to the left and a bunch of cereal boxes on top of it, then followed the counter, and stove and cabinets on the back wall.

Looking around again while Leonard was retrieving the soap, she saw two white boards with equations on them, since Leonard and Sheldon were physicists she could assume they had to do with physics, next to one of the boards, that was next to the refrigerator was a hall that probably went to the bedrooms, then next to the hall was a old set of library drawers, to keep the listings of books, an a bunch of stuff that she didn't know the names of. Next to that a book shelf lined with all sorts of books and geeky stuff, which made her smile, and that led her eye back to the couch, where she saw the gorgeous Indian man once again, and a very small, almost sickly looking guy sitting on it, on the center and left cushions, then on the right cushion, the only person left, she could assume was Sheldon, who was wearing Jeans and a red shirt with the Tadaris from Dr. Who on it. She assumed the Indian man was Raj and the almost sickly looking guy, with a pervy glint in his eye was Howard. Just as she was thinking this Penny said to her.

“Joules, this is Raj, Howard and Moon Pie! Oh! I mean Sheldon!” Penny winked at Sheldon.

“Penny, only Me-maw calls me Moon Pie.” He said calmly.

“Hi guys! Raj I've seen you before, I accidentally propped myself up against your office door and then fell backwards on your feet when you opened it.” She laughed. Raj could only nod as he haddn’t started drinking yet.

“Don't be offended. He can't talk to women unless he's drunk.” said Penny.

“Oh, well, don't get drunk on my account.” She said, as she saw Raj take a beer bottle out of the refrigerator. Leonard then came back over and handed her the dish soap.

“Here, I hope it helps.” He said brightly. “Oh, Can I take that bag for you, Joules?” He asked.

“Yeah, sure, thanks.” Said Joules with a smile.

“Wait!” said Penny.

“What?” said both Joules and Leonard simultaneously.

“Whoah, in surround sound!” said Penny. “Nothing, its just a girl thing, just something Joules and I will understand after she gets me into my apartment!” giggled Penny.

“Okay.” Said Leonard

“Sounds good to me.” said Joules. “Off to fix your door we go!”

They walked back out of 4A's door and heading to 4B. Leonard followed to see what Joules was going to do with the dish soap. When they got to the door, she took a bit of the soap and put it on her finger and applied it to the key hole, she did this until she was satisfied she had gotten enough in the key hole. Then Joules wiggled the key up and down and back and forth until she could work it out of the key hole. When it finally popped out she said.

“Tada! A little dish soap and some patience and out it comes!” with a triumphant smile.

“Good job!” said Penny, hopping up and down while clapping her hands, then she gave Joules a hug.

“Awww... it was nuttin'!” She said blushing, giving Penny back her keys.

Penny then tried again to open her door, this time she got the key in the right place, and “click” came open the door

“Yay! Thank you Joules!” she said and pulled her inside. Leonard went to go inside too, but Penny stopped him.

“What do you think you're doing?” Asked Penny.

“Well we start Retro Gaming Night in half an hour...” said Leonard looking at his watch. “ and I was wondering if I could get the soap back, if I didn't Sheldon would go ape shit.” he said.

Penny grabbed the soap from Joules and shoved it into Leonard’s hands.

“There, crisis averted. Now shoo!” Said Penny as she made a shoo gesture.

Then Penny came back into the room, and pulled Joules into the bathroom along with her bag, and started cleaning her up, and then started dolling her out in the outfit Joules had brought and did her makeup. She made her lips irresistible by putting pink lipstick and gloss on them, her eyes pop with the right type of eyeliner and her cheeks pink by pinching them. The outfit, was a geeky shirt, with the saying “There are only 10 people in the world who understand binary, the one's who do and the one's who don't.” Penny ripped it so that Joules had some cleavage showing and she ripped it so that when Joules put her jeans on that she was showing her midriff. Her jeans, which were not hers, they were really Penny's that she let Joules borrow, hugged her ass, and showed off her figure. Then next came the shoes, she was wearing regular running shoes when she got there, but knowing the geek look she brought her converse, she put those on after telling Penny that she was not going to wear a pair of heels. Finally they finished up the outfit with a star wars zip up hoodie. Her hair, had to be cute, sexy and geeky, so they put in a pair of chopsticks that Penny had bought when she and Leonard were together with little Nintendo controllers on them. Putting on her glasses, finished off her outfit, she was the perfect geek babe.

“Now you go and get him, don't let him talk you out of anything!” Said Penny, handing the back pack back to Joules and showering her with an exotic aroma perfume and pressing it into her hands.

“You can keep it, I think it suits you and Leonard loves the scent. He's only been able to smell it once, though. I had once used it on his clothing, to trick Howard into thinking that Leonard had sex with me, you should have seen their faces!” said Penny, holding back laughter.

“Thanks.” Smiled Joules and headed out the door, and walked to 4A. She checked her cellphone – she still had fifteen minutes before game night started, so she knocked. Leonard then answered the door, his eyes almost bugged out of his head.

“Jou-” Leonard cleared out his throat “Joules, you look great!” He said. Knowing that she would ask. “Come on in, what did you and Penny talk about?” He asked looking nervous, and chewing on his fingers. Awww, Joules thought, I do that!

“Nothing just girl stuff, and nothing about you, before you ask.” She smiled, then turned to the other guys. “What's up?” Then turning back to Leonard “Where can I put this?” she asked holding up her bag.

“Here let me take it, I'll put it somewhere.” he said.

“Hopefully no where, where it'll be in the way.” said Sheldon.

“It won't be in the way in my room, will it?” said Leonard.

“No. I suppose not.” said Sheldon. Joules giggled at their little interlude and took a seat on the floor.

“What are you doing?!” asked Sheldon.

“Sitting on the floor...” said Joules.

“The floor isn't sanitary!” said Sheldon.

Then Joules looked Sheldon right in the eyes, with her “Mommy look” and used her “Mommy voice” and said “Sheldon! Enough!” Sheldon, opened his mouth to protest, and Joules, looked him straight in the eye, with that “Mommy look” and he shut his mouth, and grabbed his controller.

The boys looked at her as though she were a god.

“Oh come on guys, it was nothing.” she laughed

They just turned and looked at one another and the game night begun.

For the fourteenth time, Joules had beat Sheldon at Super Smash Brothers. The guys were enjoying it, they were laughing their faces off, and so was Joules. Sheldon on the other hand was pissy as all hell.

“How is this possible?!” Exclaimed Sheldon, his Texan accent slipping as he spoke.

“I don't know, how could you be so bad at Super Smash Brothers?” Joules asked, her auburn tresses falling out of her Nintendo controller topped chopsticks. “Is it possibly because I intimidate you, Mister –Oh!” She said, mocking apology, then putting a wicked look on her face finished with “I mean, Doctor Cooper?” and adopting a cheeky, cocky grin.

“No!” Said Sheldon, quickly, even though the guys knew he was bluffing for his own sense of pride, and so they started laughing again.

“Just admit it Sheldon – she beat you, fourteen times! Just admit she beat you!” Said Raj, his beer speaking for him.

“Yeah, Sheldon, she beat you, now accept it and end the game! Its getting late! Remember your schedule.” said Leonard, anxious to have some alone time with Joules – fuck the school board, he wanted to fuck Joules.

“I – uh – J – Joules, you, haven indeed beaten me.” He said calmly as he rose off of his spot on the couch, and set down his controller. “but don't think this is over! Oh! Because its not, you will come to Halo night next Wednesday, and we will settle it then, if not then, the following Friday, on Retro game night, agreed?” stated Sheldon.

Joules got up off the floor, and walked over to Sheldon, and patted him on the arm, and put out her hand. “Yes, sir, its a deal. Shake on it?”

Sheldon just looked down at her hand and looked up at her. “You have to be kidding?” and he laughed his awkward whack-a-doodle laugh, and Joules face went blank, she pulled back her hand, wiped it on her jean clad thigh and saluted him instead.

“I wasn't, but its a deal, and it's On! Oh! Its on like Donkey Kong!” She said and crossed her arms over under her large breasts. Leonard had to work not to drool.

“Now, as its time for bed, I suggest, Koothrapali, Wolowitz and yourself leave, so I may get to bed.” Sheldon said looking at his watch.

“Sheldon, I was hoping Joules would stay for a little while, after Raj and Howard left.” Turning to the others he said “No offense, guys” and smiled. “Awwww! He's so cute!” Thought Joules about Leonard.

“None taken!” Said Howard, then leaning in towards Leonard's ear he whispered “You can do it! You can do it all night long!” Leonard then made a face and pushed Howard away.

“Howard!” Exclaimed Leonard “OUT! You two! OUT!” He pointed to the door and started pushing them towards it. Raj had already made it to the door, the beer speaking for him again and said.

“Nice to meet you Joules! I hope you had a grrreat time! Hopefully the beer hits me quicker next time!” He turned towards the door, was about to go out of it and turned back “By the way, you have a great ass!” He smiled and then went out the door.

Leonard put his hands to the sides of his head and massaged his temples. “Guys, just get out!” he said. All the time Joules was giggling her butt off at the spectacle in front of her.

After the last exchange, Raj and Howard left chuckling and chatting out the door about Leonard and Joules. When the door finally shut, Leonard turned to Joules and said “I'm sorry about them, they don't know how to put a sensor in between their brains and their mouths!”

“Its okay, it was really funny, and you were really cu-” Joules stopped herself there, they said that they wouldn't do anything until after the semester ended, so she sat down on the middle cushion of the couch, her legs pulled up into an “Indian-style” position. Leonard, smiled crookedly and sat down next to her in Sheldon's spot, and said.

“Even though we agreed not to do anything until the end of term...” he trailed off, pulling his lips into his mouth, trying to pull together as much courage as he could, then started again “...that... um... maybe... something could shift in our student – teacher paradigm.” he finished looking at his fingers. Joules couldn't help but stare at him.

The staring caught Leonard’s attention. He looked up at her, and just as he did, she licked her pink glossed lips, making them look even more appetizing than before. He swallowed, and looked up to her eyes, all of a sudden, he felt that familiar warmth of arousal in his tummy.
