Michaela woke up the next morning not sure if the events of yesterday actually happened to her but it was suddenly made clear that the events were real when she saw the two positive tests sitting on the night stand. This made her smile even more than she did yesterday when she first found out.
“ Hello mother-to-be, good morning.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he kissed his wife.
“ And good morning to you father-to-be. Oh this is wonderful. I can’t believe we’re actually going to have a baby, in this house.”, Michaela said with a smile as she kissed her husband back.
“ I know, it’s remarkable. Are you happy?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Yes I’m very happy. It’s been my dream to be a mother, ever since I was a little girl.”, Michaela said. Then she turned to Oakley and Max and cooed, “ Oh you two are so special. Thank you for trying to tell us the most wonderful news we’ve ever received. We love you two so much.” as she gave each of them a kiss.
“ Well, I’m going to get up and start getting ready for work.”, Michaela said as she slowly got out of the bed and grabbed her work clothes.
“ Sounds good honey, I think I shall do the same.”, Sheldon said as he got up as well.
“ Oh, and, one thing. Until we find out more about this pregnancy, let’s not say anything to our friends yet. I want this to be a really big surprise.”, Michaela said as she was heading to the bathroom.
“ I see. Are you asking me to keep a secret woman?”, Sheldon asked as he was getting dressed.
“ Yeah I kind of am. I know you’re not that good at keeping secrets but this is kind of a big one that I want you to keep, at least for a little bit. Like I want to find out if it’s a boy or a girl, how far along I am, things of that nature before we tell our friends any of this.”, Michaela said.
“ Well I can tell my mother, my twin sister, my brother and my grandmother right?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Yes you can tell them but just don’t say anything about this to our friends yet. I want this to be the biggest shock of their lives that they had ever received.”, Michaela said.
“ Well it won’t be easy but I’ll certainly try my best to do so.”, Sheldon said.
“ Thank you.”, Michaela said as she kissed him before she headed to the bathroom to get in the shower. Her feet were still a bit swollen but it had gone down some, dulling the pain enough to where it was tolerable for her to stand on her feet. She turned the showerhead on making sure that the water wasn’t too hot before she got into the shower and as she was washing herself she thought in her head with a smile on her face, ‘ I can’t wait to meet you in 9 months my little Cooper peanut. Mama already loves you very much and your daddy does too.’ She then finished showering, got dressed and left for work after she dropped Sheldon off at Caltech. She walked into the store, clocked in and headed to her register to open it for the day with the biggest smile on her face ever.
“ Hey everybody! Good morning!”, Michaela exclaimed as she was punching in her employee ID number into the register computer screen.
“ Good morning Michaela!”, her boss and fellow coworkers exclaimed.
“ Are you ok?”, Heather, a fellow female coworker asked.
“ Oh yeah I’m fine! Never been better Heather!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Are you sure? Because your feet look a little bit swollen today and you seem very very happy about something. What’s going on?”, Joe, a fellow male coworker asked as a smile began to spread across his face.
“ Ok, don’t say anything to mine and husband’s friends yet but… when I got home yesterday I found out I was pregnant.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ What?! Are you serious?!”, everybody exclaimed in shock.
“ Yes, I’m pregnant!”, Michaela exclaimed as she nodded her head. Everybody in the store suddenly gave her a round of applause going absolutely nuts at the happy news.
“ You never cease to amaze me! Congratulations!”, Mr. Jenkins said.
“ Thank you!”, Michaela said as she was ringing up a customer’s items.
“ Is it a boy or a girl?”, Heather asked.
“ I don’t know yet. As far as I know I think it’s too early to tell. I got to wait a while until I find out from the OB/YN at an ultrasound appointment.”, Michaela said.
“ Yeah that makes sense.”, Joe said.
“ Exactly.”, Michaela said.
Caltech cafeteria…
“ Son of a bitch!”, Raj hissed in anger after he hung up his phone.
“ Everything ok Raj?”, Leonard asked.
“ No everything is not ok Leonard! I’m pissed off at my parents right now!”, Raj hissed in anger.
“ Well what’s setting your fuse off buddy?”, Howard asked.
“ My parents just set up another arranged marriage between me and another woman from India!”, Raj hissed in anger.
“ Well what’s the problem with that? I thought you liked that.”, Leonard asked in confusion.
“ I used to but now it very much annoys me! Dude don’t you get it?! What’s the point of these arranged marriages if they’re just going to go wrong anyway due the fact that I can’t even talk to a woman without taking either a placebo or getting drunk off of alcohol?! I might as well just face it that I’m going to be alone for the rest of my life and that no one is going to want me! Unlike you Sheldon who found Michaela and married her!”, Raj hissed in anger as he slammed his fist on the table.
“ Yes well I do not wish to discuss about Michaela at the moment.”, Sheldon said as he narrowed his eyes.
“ Why not dude? She’s your wife.”, Howard asked in confusion.
“ Yes I realize that Wolowitz but as I said I do not wish to discuss about her at the moment because I know for a fact that I’m just going to end up saying something that I shouldn’t say and you know what let’s just move onto a different subject ok.”, Sheldon said as he shook his head.
“ What do you mean you’re going to end up saying something you shouldn’t say? Is there something going on with Michaela that we don’t know about?”, Leonard asked with a bit of suspicion in his voice as he stared at his best friend.
“ Yes there is Leonard but I do not wish to discuss it right now. I promised Michaela that I wouldn’t say anything until she’s ready to discuss it. Can we please just drop the subject?”, Sheldon said in a serious tone before he dummped his tray and left the cafeteria to head back to his office.
“ Ook…”, Leonard said in confusion.
“ You guys he’s totally hiding something.”, Raj said.
“ Yeah it’s very obvious Raj. Did you see the way he was talking before he left? Something’s definitely up.”, Howard said.
“ Oh please you idiots Sheldon couldn’t keep a secret to save his life. Whatever this is he’s hiding I can most garrantee you that he’s going to tell us at some point. There’s no way that’s he’s going to be able to keep a secret for that long.”, Leonard said as he rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“ Yeah I completely agree but what do you think it could be?”, Howard asked.
“ Dude maybe Michaela’s pregnant and Sheldon doesn’t want to say it.”, Raj said.
“ Oh please like that would ever be the case Raj! Do you really think Sheldon’s the type of guy that could handle a kid?! He acts like a kid himself sometimes!”, Leonard shot back as he rolled his eyes again.
“ Yeah that’s true.”, Howard and Raj said together.
“ Exactly, so it’s got to be something else. We’re just going to have to wait it out until he says something.”, Leonard said.
Sheldon’s office…
“ Hello honey, how’s your day going so far?”, Sheldon asked as he was talking to Michaela on his phone while working on his whiteboard.
“ It’s going good. Yours?”, Michaela asked.
“ As good as it will ever be for me right now. This secret is killing me woman!”, Sheldon said as he rolled his eyes in frustration.
“ I know I know you want to tell our friends so badly that I’m pregnant but please just try to keep it in as long as you can. I really want this to be a big surprise.”, Michaela said.
“ Well like I said you’re really not making this easy for me right now Michaela. I’m just so happy and I want to tell people!”, Sheldon said.
“ I know and I’m really happy too but sometimes certain things in life just have to be kept secret for a while in order to make them very special. I want this to be the biggest and most special thing that they will never forget when they find out.”, Michaela said.
“ Well, you know I can’t say no to you honey.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ Exactly.”, Michaela said.
“ When can we tell our friends?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Soon, I promise. I’ll go find out later today after work, I’ll make the appointment now.”, Michaela said.
“ Ok and I’ll try to keep the secret a little bit longer.”, Sheldon said.
“ Thank you. Well I got to get back to work. Love you and I’ll see you later after the ultrasound appointment.”, Michaela said.
“ I love you too. Goodbye.”, Sheldon said before he hung up. Sheldon kept true to his word the whole rest of the day and later that evening after he got dropped off at home by Leonard, Michaela finally walked in the door from her ultrasound appointment. She had the biggest smile on her face that Sheldon had ever seen in his entire life.
“ Well hello Michaela. How did your appointment go?”, Sheldon asked as he kissed her.
“ Oh it went wonderful Sheldon! You’re not going to believe this!”, Michaela happily cried.
“ Well what is it?”, Sheldon asked.
“ It’s not just one baby… it’s two!”, Michaela happily cried.
“ Are you kidding me?! We’re having twins?!”, Sheldon exclaimed in shock as he stared at his wife.
“ Yes! A boy and a girl! Oh this is wonderful, just what I dreamed of my whole life!”, Michaela happily cried as she threw her arms around her husband.
“ Yes it most certainly is! Can we tell the others now?!”, Sheldon exclaimed.
“ Yes we’ll tell them tomorrow after you and I think of names for our twins right now.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright if you insist.”, Sheldon said. They then sat around for the next few hours thinking about names until Michaela finally said, “ Ok. I got a girl name.”
“ And I have a boy name.”, Sheldon said.
“ Alright, on the count of three we’re going to tell each other the names that we decided.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright. One.”, Sheldon said.
“ Two.”, Michaela said.
“ Three.”, Sheldon said.
“ Meygan Kapri.”, Michaela said.
“ Damien Issac.”, Sheldon said. The two of them then embraced each other sharing a kiss. Then the next evening after Michaela had made two cards with the ultrasound pictures placed in them the married couple then gathered at Leonard’s apartment with the others so that they could finally tell them the biggest secret that they had been keeping in the whole day yesterday.
“ Hey Michaela do you want a drink?”, Penny asked as she was pouring a glass of wine for herself, Bernadette and Amy while the other guys were drinking beer cans.
“ No I can’t have any right now. But thanks anyway Penny.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ Why not? You guys are acting very weird. What’s up?”, Howard asked in suspicion.
“ Because I’m going to reveal to guys why. This is kind of a reveal to everybody but Midge, Leonard, why don’t I show you guys first to make this easier.”, Michaela said as she handed the cards to Midge and Leonard.
“ What the hell is this?”, Leonard asked in confusion.
“ Oh for God sakes Leonard, just open it! You too Midge!”, Michaela hissed.
“ Ok bestie.”, Midge said as her and Leonard then opened the cards and gasped in shock. Leonard looked like he was almost about ready to cry happy tears while Midge had already started crying them the minute she opened the card.
“ Well go ahead and read them! Don’t just stand there like idiots!”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ Hello Godmother!”, Midge happily cried.
“ Hello Godfather!”, Leonard said as happy tears began to well up in his eyes.
“ We can’t wait to meet you and we love you very much!”, Midge happily cried.
“ Meygan Kapri and Damien Issac Cooper, coming soon!”, Leonard said before he finally let the happy tears fall from his face. The others gasped in shock as they all stared at Michaela and Sheldon who had very big smiles on their faces.
“ HOLY CRAP!”, Raj exclaimed as his eyes went wide.
“ Shut up, no way! You guys are having twins?!”, Leonard happily cried with a big smile on his face.
“ Yes! I’m pregnant!”, Michaela exclaimed. Penny, Amy, and Bernadette shrieked with glee as they hugged each other and Michaela. Midge did the same thing as she kept crying happy tears.
“ I knew it and you two idiots so didn’t believe me!”, Raj exclaimed as he pointed at Leonard and Howard.
“ Must you Raj?!”, Sheldon shot back.
“ Sorry dude I was just making a point!”, Raj said.
“ I can’t believe this! My best friend is going to be a father?! You guys just so made my freakin’ night! Come here you idiots!”, Leonard happily cried as he walked up to Sheldon and Michaela and threw his arms around them. Then he let go and exclaimed, “ Oh my god, TWINS!” as he suddenly grabbed onto Howard, Raj and Stuart and the 4 men started jumping up and down screaming like idiots with each other. They were so freaking happy along with the other women in the apartment.
“ I told you that you were going to get your dream you crazy bitch if you just held onto it! Yippee ki-yay!”, Penny shrieked.
“ I know Penny and I’m so happy!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Dr. Whackadoodle you dawg! Come here!”, Penny shrieked as she yanked Sheldon into an embrace making him scream in surprise.
“ Lord in Heaven did I just hear somebody say twins in here?!”, Mrs. Cooper asked in shock when she walked in the door with Missy, Georgie and Meemaw.
“ Yeah that was me Mrs. Cooper! I said it!”, Leonard exclaimed.
“ Well why would y’all say that Leonard?”, Missy asked.
“ Because Sheldon and Michaela are having twins!”, Leonard exclaimed.
“ Oh hallelujah!”, Meemaw exclaimed.
“ What the bi*chin’ f*ck?!”, Georgie hissed.
“ Georgie that’s enough! Are you serious?!”, Mrs. Cooper scolded before she let out happy tears.
“ Yes it’s twins, a boy and a girl!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Well Heavenly Father here I was expecting one grandchild but you’re giving me two! Oh I am so happy!”, Mrs. Cooper happily cried as she threw her arms around her daughter-in law.
“ I know! I’m happy too!”, Michaela exclaimed.
“ Do y’all have names for them?”, Missy asked.
“ Yes we do. It’s Meygan Kapri Cooper and Damien Issac Cooper.”, Sheldon said.
“ Oh those names are precious!”, Mrs. Cooper happily cried. Then she gets down on her knees and exclaims with her palms pressed together and her eyes shut, “ Thank you Lord for giving me two precious grandchildren! I can’t wait to meet them in 9 months!”
“ And I can’t wait to meet my two great grandchildren in 9 months either!”, Meemaw exclaimed. They all continued to chat and celebrate and shortly after Michaela and Sheldon got home Michaela called her family to tell them about the twins before her and Sheldon headed to bed. But the married couple soon got the biggest shock of their life when Michaela’s family suddenly all showed up at the house in the middle of the night waking the two of them up when they came into the bedroom and flipped the light on.
“ Hey sista come here!”, Mavis exclaimed as she suddenly threw her arms around Michaela.
“ Ah Mavis! What the hell is everyone doing here?!”, Michaela shrieked in surprise when she and Sheldon sat up in the bed to see her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins standing around their bed.
“ Yeah good Lord! Don’t you people knock?! It’s the middle of the night!”, Sheldon hissed at all of his in-laws.
“ We came here to congratulate you two on the twins!”, Darby laughed.
“ Yeah but Darby do you guys seriously think this is appropriate right now?! Sheldon and I were sleeping!”, Michaela shot back at her cousin.
“ Oh come on Michaela you didn’t even give us a chance to celebrate over the phone so we decided to come here and do it in person!”, Taylor exclaimed.
“ Taylor don’t you guys know that it’s rude to wake up somebody and their husband in the middle of the night when they’re sleeping in their MARITAL bed?!”, Michaela hissed at her cousin.
“ Sweetheart we know you’re married but we just wanted to come here and tell you that we’re happy for you.”, Mr. Mansfield said.
“ Yeah congratulations you two!”, Uncle Francisco said as he held a thumb up.
“ And thanks Dad and Uncle Francisco but could you guys all go home now?! This is not the appropriate time to be here!”, Michaela hissed at her father and her uncle.
“ Come on sis, chill out!”, Charlie laughed as he brushed his fist gently across her cheek.
“ Charlie you say that again and I’ll smack you! So please everybody just get out of the bedroom and GO HOME! This is not a family reunion! Sheldon and I just want to go to sleep like any normal married couple would do at this time of night in our own house with our two pets and our children-to-be!”, Michaela hissed as she pointed at herself and Sheldon as well as the dog and cat laying on the bed with them and her stomach. Oakley let out a bark as she wagged her tail while Max let out a meow.
“ Alright alright we’ll leave sweetheart. Good night.”, Mrs. Mansfield said as she started leaving the room with the other family members.
“ Thank you, good night! Please do not do that again! We have a security system and we don’t need the cops showing up at our house thinking that we have a law-breaking family!”, Michaela hissed before her and Sheldon fell back asleep. But as they were doing so they suddenly heard this loud dramatic flamboyant voice outside the house exclaiming, “ Mazal tov! What’s up Pasadena?!”
“ Ronnie shut up and go home!”, Michaela shouted out the bedroom window at her cousin before she shut the window and fell back asleep next to Sheldon. Then a few days later when she went into work she told everybody that her and Sheldon were expecting twins and they all congratulated her again. Mr. Landry ended up overhearing this as he was getting in line to pay for his items.
“ Well damn I never thought I’d hear something like that. Congratulations Michaela.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Thanks Mr. Landry. I’ve never been so happy in my life. I would have told you a few days ago but you weren’t home.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh that’s alright, I was visiting family out of state anyway. So you’re expecting twins?”, Mr. Landry asked.
“ Yep, Sheldon and I are expecting a boy and a girl.”, Michaela said as she nodded her head.
“ Well good luck to you two. Twins are a lot of work I can tell you that much. They need a lot of attention.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Oh I’m counting on it and so is my husband. He’s a twin himself too.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh he’s got a twin too?”, Mr. Landry asked.
“ Yeah his sister Missy, my sister-in law. Plus there’s a set of twins on my side of the family as well. My cousins Ronnie and Bonnie.”, Michaela said.
“ Well then I guess it’s safe to say that twins really do run in your family for genetics.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Yeah that makes sense. That’s probably why I was likely to conceive twins in the first place.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes that’s true. Well I got to go. It was nice running into you and talking about your future family.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Ok you too. Bye.”, Michaela said as she watched him leave the store after he paid for his items. When she got off work later that day her and Sheldon then went shopping to get some baby stuff which included things like two cribs, some boy and girl clothes, a few toys, a changing table, diapers, etc. They brought all of this stuff home and began setting up the nursery.
“ Oh this is perfect.”, Michaela said with a smile as she stood in the doorway with Sheldon once the nursery was completely set up.
“ Indeed. Now all this nursery is waiting for is our two little miracles to make their appearance into this world.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he stared at his wife while holding her hand.
“ Yes. I love you Sheldon.”, Michaela said.
“ I love you too Michaela.”, Sheldon said as he kissed her. He then gently placed his hand on her stomach which now had the appearance of a small baby bump. As the weeks and months dragged on that bump began to get bigger and bigger until finally one day the others rushed Michaela up to the hospital when she started having contractions and after several hours of active labor she delivered a healthy baby boy and baby girl into the world with her family and friends at her side. The song Thank You by Dido began to play in the background along with the sound of crying babies.
“ Hi my precious babies, it’s mommy! Welcome into our world!”, Michaela happily cried as she sat in the bed holding the two newborns in her arms.
“ Yes hi it’s daddy. We already love you very much Meygan and Damien.”, Sheldon said as he kissed his newborn son and daughter on their heads before he kissed his wife.
“ Thank you for giving me the best day of my life ever Sheldon! You finally made me a mom!”, Michaela happily cried.
“ And you made me a father. I love you so much honey.”, Sheldon said as he kissed her again.
“ I love you too!”, Michaela happily cried.
“ May we hold them sweetheart?”, Mrs. Mansfield happily cried as she reached her arms to her daughter with her husband standing next to her.
“ Sure Mom, you take Damien. Dad, you take Meygan.”, Michaela said as she handed her children over to her parents for them to hold them.
“ Hi Meygan, it’s grandpa. You are such a beautiful little angel.”, Mr. Mansfield softly said with a smile as he held his granddaughter for the very first time.
“ Hi Damien, it’s grandma. Look at your big handsome eyes, you look just like your father.”, Mrs. Mansfield softly said with a smile as she held her grandson.
“ What?! No he doesn’t!”, Sheldon shot back.
“ No Shelly she’s right. Damien looks exactly like you when you and Missy were born.”, Mrs. Cooper said as she stood next to Mrs. Mansfield.
“ Alright if you insist.”, Sheldon said.
“ Oh stop it Shelly!”, Mrs. Cooper said. Mr. Mansfield then switched with his wife so that he could hold Damien next and that she could hold Meygan. The others then all took turns holding the two infants.
“ Hey what’s up little cousins? It’s Darby.”, Darby said with a stupid smirk as he held both Meygan and Damien in his arms.
“ They know who you are you egghead! They came out of me anyway!”, Michaela hissed as she smacked her cousin upside the head.
“ Really Michaela? Do you really think your kids want to see their mother smacking me in the head?”, Darby laughed.
“ Oh please Darby I’m sure they’re going to be doing to you too when they get older!”, Michaela hissed.
“ That is if we teach them that which I don’t think is appropriate.”, Sheldon said as he crossed his arms.
“ Sheldon I was joking. Of course our kids are not going to be doing that.”, Michaela said as she shook her head.
“ Honestly I think that might be funny.”, Leonard said with a stupid smirk.
“ Excuse me Leonard but I do not want my son and daughter being taught to smack people. That’s disrespectful.”, Sheldon shot back as he narrowed his eyes at his best friend.
“ Yes that most certainly is Sheldon. The Lord did not put people on this Earth to treat others with disrespect. And that includes Meygan and Damien.”, Mrs. Cooper said.
“ True. What do you say that we move this big party to home bitches?”, Penny said.
“ Penny! Not in front of our kids!”, Michaela and Sheldon hissed.
“ Oh please Sheldon and Michaela you know they’re going to learn them anyway! I’m the fun inappropriate Auntie Penny!”, Penny said as she rolled her eyes.
“ And I’m Auntie Amy!”, Amy exclaimed.
“ And I’m I’ll tell you what I want what I really really want Auntie Bernadette!”, Bernadette exclaimed in a sing song voice just like she used to do in the beauty pageants that she was in.
“ Yeah you get it girl!”, Midge exclaimed. Raj and Howard then started singing the lyrics to their song Sherlock Around The Clock as they were jumping around the hospital room like idiots.
“ Hey! Can it you two putzes before you start an earthquake!”, Bernadette hissed at the two men with one of them being her husband.
“ Oh shut it Bernie!”, Howard hissed before he continued jumping around with Raj singing the song.
“ Well Meygan and Damien this is your weird family that you’ve been born into. I hope you love them because your father and I sure do.”, Michaela said with a giddy laugh as she held her two children in her arms.
CRASH!
“ Raj?!”, everybody interjected as they stared at him after he knocked into a piece of medical equipment and it fell over.
“ Sorry about that!”, Raj said with a stupid smirk as he picked up what had fallen over. They all continued to have conversations with each other until visiting hours were over. Then 4 days later Michaela and Sheldon then brought their two children home from the hospital to officially start their new life as parents.
“ Waaah!”
“ Sheldon could you go change Meygan’s diaper? I’m feeding Damien a bottle right now.”, Michaela said as she sat on the couch in the living room holding Damien in her arms as she was feeding him a bottle.
“ I got it Michaela. Hold on Meygan, daddy’s coming.”, Sheldon said as he got up and headed to the nursery where his infant daughter had been sleeping in her crib but was now wide awake due to her diaper being wet. Oakley followed him in there just happily wagging her tail while Max just skidded into the den like a surprised cat letting out a kitty screech.
“ Shhh, it’s alright baby girl. Calm down, I got you.”, Sheldon softly said as he gently picked his daughter up out of her crib and carried her over to the changing table to change her diaper. Then once he was done she immediately calmed down and fell back asleep after he placed her back in her crib.
“ Waaah!”
“ Oh good Lord! What now?!”, Sheldon said as he rolled his eyes.
“ It’s Damien. He needs to be changed now because he just spit up on himself and me.”, Michaela said as she walked into the nursery past her husband with Damien in her arms, carrying him over to the changing table. Once she changed his clothes and his diaper she then picked him back up into her arms and sat down in the rocking chair gently rocking back and forth to get him to fall asleep. Once he was asleep just like his twin sister she placed him in his crib and walked out. Oakley followed after sniffing around the two cribs for a minute.
“ Finally those two are taking a nap now.”, Michaela said as she flopped back down on the couch in the living room right next to her husband.
“ Indeed. Well it’s official, we’ll be doing this parenting thing for 18 years of our lives now together.”, Sheldon said.
“ Yep. There’s no turning back now. Both of us are going to have to be very mature now if we want our children to have a bright future ahead of them.”, Michaela said.
“ That’s correct.”, Sheldon said as he nodded his head.
“ Hey you two. What’s up?”, Leonard said when he walked into the house.
“ Not much Leonard we just got Meygan and Damien down for a nap but you’re more than welcome to visit for a bit if you want.”, Sheldon said.
“ Thanks Sheldon.”, Leonard said as he sat down in a chair. Then he asked, “ So how’s everything going so far?”
“ Well to be honest it’s quite stressful at the moment.”, Michaela said.
“ Yeah I would imagine it would be since you two are taking care of 2 infants at one time. But trust me it’s going to be so well worth it in the end once these two start growing up.”, Leonard said.
“ Well for your sake I hope you’re right Leonard.”, Sheldon said.
“ So how are the pets doing with regards to the situation?”, Leonard asked.
“ They’re doing good. We try to keep Oakley from getting too close with her tongue and Max getting too close in general but other than that they seem fine around the two babies.”, Michaela said.
“ Well that’s good.”, Leonard said.
“ Waaah!”
“ Oh Lord that’s Meygan again!”, Sheldon said as he threw his head back but as he was about to get up Leonard got up first and said, “ I got her Sheldon, sit back down.”
“ Alright.”, Sheldon said as he sat back down while Leonard headed to the nursery to see what was wrong with Meygan.
“ Hi Meygan it’s Uncle Leonard. What’s wrong sweetie?”
“ Waaah waaah… mm”
“ I think she just wanted to be held for a bit. Look she already fell back asleep.”, Leonard said with a smile as he came walking back into the living room with Meygan sleeping in his arms.
“ Well it would appear so. Thank you Leonard.”, Sheldon said with a smile.
“ Of course Sheldon, you’re my best friend and Meygan’s my goddaughter.”, Leonard said.
“ Yes that’s true and Damien is your godson too.”, Sheldon said as he nodded his head. Throughout the day the others stopped by to help out with the twins including Mr. Landry who decided to stop by so that he could meet them. Then the twins first birthday came and went followed by them learning to walk at 2 years old, to talking at 3 and being potty trained which made them so happy to be able to not have to wear diapers anymore. At 4 years old Meygan and Damien were running around the house throwing things at each other in entertainment. Finger Poppin’ Time by Hank Ballard & The Midnighters was playing in the background as the two twins were running around laughing.
“ I’m gonna get you for that Meygan!”, Damien laughed as he threw a shoe in his twin sister’s direction which got Oakley riled up as she started running after them barking and wagging her tail.
“ Shut up Damien no you’re not! I’m gonna get you for that you dork!”, Meygan laughed as she ducked her head at the flying shoe coming at her from her twin brother.
“ As if! Incoming!”, Damien laughed as he picked up a baseball and threw it in the direction of his sister but she ducked her head and the baseball hit a vase shattering it into a million pieces which spooked Max the cat.
“ Damien Issac Cooper!”, Michaela and Sheldon shouted as they looked up at their son with angry looks on their faces.
“ Oh crap!”, Damien interjected.
“ You better run buster! Mommy and Daddy are mad!”, Meygan interjected in a little diva-like voice as she placed her hand on her hip looking at her brother.
“ Shut up Meygan Kapri Cooper!”, Damien shot back his sister as he ran to his room just as their father was tearing after him shouting in anger, “ Come here, you’re getting a butt paddling for that! We don’t do things like that in this house!”
Smack smack smack smack!
“ Ow! Daddy that hurt!”, Damien screamed as he started to cry while Sheldon was dragging him back out into the dining room.
“ I don’t care Damien! We don’t throw things like that in this house, someone’s going to get hurt! Now you’re gonna sit here in this chair facing the wall for 4 minutes and think about what you did!”, Sheldon shouted as he plopped his son down in one of the dining room chairs that he turned to the wall while Michaela was picking up all the broken glass on the floor.
“ Smooth moves you wildhog!”, Meygan spat out at her brother Damien.
“ Meygan Kapri Cooper do not talk to your twin brother right now! He’s in trouble for doing THIS!”, Michaela scolded her daughter as she pointed at the mess that Damien made.
“ Yes shut your mouth right now before you get a butt paddling as well!”, Sheldon scolded.
“ Sorry mommy and daddy.”, Meygan said before she shut her mouth. The next 4 minutes went by with nothing else being said and Damien was finally let up from his timeout. The next day Michaela and Sheldon dropped the twins off at daycare before they headed to work.
“ Hey Michaela, how’s the parent life?”, Heather asked.
“ Oh it’s very stressful at times Heather but so well worth it. Yesterday Damien threw a baseball in the house and broke a vase after he tried to throw it at his twin sister Meygan.”, Michaela said as she shook her head while ringing up somebody’s items at the register.
“ Oh I would not be happy about that if it was my kid.”, Joe said with a slight chuckle.
“ Oh believe me Joe, my husband Sheldon and I were not happy about it at all.”, Michaela said.
“ Well don’t get too stressed over that Michaela, it’s just part of life. He’s a 4 year old boy, what are you going to do? Little boys do dumb things all the time.”, Mr. Jenkins said.
“ Oh they do something alright!”, Michaela laughed as she shook her head.
“ Oh balls, are you kidding me Michaela?! Damien got in trouble for throwing a baseball in the house?!”, Penny asked her friend as she rolled her eyes when she walked up with her items to pay for them.
“ Yes he did Penny. He was trying to throw it at Meygan but it hit a vase and broke it instead and so Sheldon gave him a very well deserved butt paddling for that and made him sit in timeout for 4 minutes.”, Michaela said as she was ringing up Penny’s items.
“ Figures the whackadoodle would fly off the handle for something that stupid.”, Penny said as she shook her head.
“ Well of course because Damien is our son and we don’t want him growing up thinking that it’s ok to do things like that.”, Michaela said.
“ He’s a 4 year old boy Michaela Janet Cooper! What the hell do you think he’s going to do when he gets older?! Rip off a bank?!”, Penny shot back shaking her head.
“ I don’t know Penny but I hope not because I don’t want my son ending up in jail!”, Michaela shot back.
“ Yeah well he’s my nephew and I wouldn’t want that happening either just like I wouldn’t want that happening to my niece as well! I already have to deal with enough that nonsense because of my drug ass addicted brother as it is!”, Penny said.
“ Yeah ain’t that the truth!”, Michaela said as Penny then handed her the cash to pay for her items. Then she handed Penny her receipt and said, “Here’s your receipt.”
“ Thanks bitch, see ya.”, Penny said with a smile as she took her receipt from her friend, grabbed her items and walked out of the store.
“ Bye! See you later!”, Michaela exclaimed as she waved to her friend before she started ringing up the next customer’s items. The day went on Michaela was suddenly interrupted by her phone ringing.
“ Hi Michaela it’s me. I’m calling to tell you that I’m going to unfortunately be working a little later than usual today.”, Sheldon said when Michaela picked up her phone.
“ Oh shoot Sheldon I’m kind of in the same boat it looks like but somebody’s got to pick the twins up from daycare.”, Michaela hissed.
“ True. Why don’t you call Penny and ask her if she can go get them. She’s off work today anyway.”, Sheldon said.
“ I guess I can do that but I feel bad about having to ask her.”, Michaela said.
“ Michaela don’t, she’s our friend and she’s done many favors for me over the years in terms of driving me places when Leonard couldn’t do it. Just ask her, I’m sure she won’t mind.”, Sheldon said.
“ Ok I will. I’ll see you later honey.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes you shall, love you. Bye.”, Sheldon said.
“ Bye.”, Michaela said before she hung up. She then called Penny and waited for her to answer.
“ Hey Michaela, what’s up?”, Penny answered after the first couple rings.
“ Hi Penny, listen could you do Sheldon and I a huge favor and go pick up Meygan and Damien from daycare? We’re unfortunately working a little later than usual today and we have no one else to pick them up. So could you please go pick them up for us?”, Michaela asked.
“ Absolutely, I’d be happy to! I got to go pick up Midge on the way too because apparently her car just died and she has no way to get home so we can definitely swing by the daycare on the way back and they can just come hang out with us at my apartment for a while.”, Penny said.
“ Oh really? Thanks. This is such a huge help.”, Michaela said with a smile.
“ No problem, see you later.”, Penny said.
“ Bye.”, Michaela said before she hung up and continued working feeling satisfied knowing that her children were going to be in good hands. Penny then left her apartment to go pick up Midge and after they called a tow truck to come pick up Midge’s car to tow it to a garage for repairs the two women then drove to the daycare center to pick up Meygan and Damien.
“ Hi how can I help you?”, the receptionist asked as she sat behind her desk.
“ Hi I’m here to pick up my niece and nephew Meygan and Damien Cooper.”, Penny said with a smile.
“ Ok and what’s your name?”, the receptionist asked.
“ It’s Penny. This is my friend Midge and she’s their godmother.”, Penny said as she pointed at Midge who was standing next to her.
“ Ok one moment please.”, the receptionist said before she got up and walked down the hallway. She came back out front moments later with the twins and the moment the two of them saw Penny and Midge they exclaimed, “ Auntie Penny and Auntie Midge!” as they ran up to them with their arms out wide.
“ Hi you two!”, Midge and Penny exclaimed as they threw their arms around their niece and nephew in a loving embrace with smiles on their faces.
“ Did you two have a good day?”, Penny asked.
“ Oh we had the bestest day ever! Look I drew a dinosaur!”, Damien exclaimed as he showed off his drawing that he drew that day.
“ Oh that’s wonderful Damien! What did you do Meygan?”, Penny asked.
“ I drew a picture of our whole family! See?!”, Meygan exclaimed as she showed off her drawing of every family member that was in their very large family.
“ Oh that is so cute Meygan! I love how Leonard’s nose looks like a pickle!”, Penny laughed in amusement.
“ Uncle Leonard’s funny!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ Yes he is! Very funny!”, Penny laughed.
“ Where’s mommy and daddy at?”, Damien asked.
“ Your mommy and daddy are still working right now so they asked us to come pick you two up.”, Midge said.
“ Yeah you’re going to come hang out at my apartment for a while. What do you think about that?”, Penny asked.
“ Yay!”, Meygan and Damien exclaimed.
“ Alright let’s go get in the car.”, Penny said as they were heading out of the daycare center. The two twins ran to the car with excitement as Meygan exclaimed, “ Move your big booty Damien!”
“ You do that Meygan! Move it!”, Damien exclaimed as they piled into the back seat and shut the door strapping themselves into the booster seats that were sitting back there. The two women laughed, shaking their heads as they got in and drove away. Once they got to 4B Midge and Penny decided to stand around the kitchen island sharing a cup of coffee with each other and talking while Damien sat on the couch wanting his twin sister to turn the tv on.
“ Turn the tv on Meygan.”, Damien said as he sat there drinking a juice box.
“ I will after I plug it in Damien. Chill out.”, Meygan said as she grabbed the electrical cord for the tv and stepped up onto a kiddie stool to try plugging it into the wall herself while the two women were distracted nearby.
“ I know but mommy and daddy said that we can’t touch the outlets without adult supervision.”, Damien said.
“ Yeah well mommy and daddy say a lot of things. What’s the worst that could happen?”, Meygan said as she kept trying to plug the tv in but her finger got a little too close to the outlet, receiving a painful shock of electricity through her finger which resulted in her losing control of her bladder involuntarily all over herself as she then began to cry after she dropped the electrical cord on the floor. Damien’s eyes went wide as he stared at his twin sister which immediately caught Penny and Midge’s attention as they turned around to see what was going on. They gasped in horror when they saw what had happened.
“ Oh my god!”, Midge shrieked as she clasped her hand over her mouth.
“ Meygan are you ok?!”, Penny shrieked when she ran over to her niece.
“ No Auntie Penny! I just shocked myself with the outlet and I think I just wet myself too! It hurts!”, Meygan cried as she stared down at the puddle of urine that was underneath her all over the stool and her feet.
“ It’s ok don’t cry. Here let’s go get you cleaned up.”, Midge softly said as she took Meygan by the hand and walked down the hallway to the bathroom.
“ Oh, balls!”, Penny hissed under her breath as she started cleaning up the urine by soaking it up with paper towels.
“ What’s that supposed to mean Auntie Penny?”, Damien asked in confusion.
“ Nothing Damien. Here, do you want the tv on?”, Penny said as she plugged the tv in and turned it on, handing her 4 year old nephew the remote.
“ Thank you.”, Damien said.
“ Put whatever little kiddie show you want on sweetie. I’m going to go check on your twin sister in the bathroom.”, Penny said as she sprinted down the hallway.
“ Ok.”, Damien said as he turned on the show Blaze and The Monster Machines on Nickelodeon.
Knock knock! “ Midge? Can I come in for a second?”, Penny asked when she knocked on the bathroom door.
“ Sure Penny! Come on in!” Penny then walked into the bathroom to see Meygan sitting in the bathtub full of water after Midge stripped her out of her soiled clothes and was washing her off with a washcloth.
“ Is she okay?”, Penny asked.
“ Yeah she fine now. I’m just cleaning her off.”, Midge said as she was washing and rinsing the soap off of Meygan’s little body with the washcloth.
“ Good.”, Penny said before she knelt down next to the tub and said in a serious tone, “ Sweetie you got to be careful with electricity, you can really seriously hurt yourself or kill yourself with that. This is exactly why your mommy and daddy have always told you and your twin brother many times not to touch the outlets for any reason what so ever without one of us watching you. You two are 4 years old and still too young to be touching stuff like that. We all care about and love you two very much and we don’t want to see you get hurt. Does this make sense what I’m telling you?”
“ Yes.”, Meygan softly said as she nodded her head.
“ Good. Next time when you and your brother want something just ask either me or Auntie Midge or anyone of us to get something for you. Don’t try to do it yourself because you’re just going to end getting hurt. When you get older then you can try to do some things on your own but right now you’re still too young to be doing things that are meant for adults to handle.”, Penny said.
“ Ok. I love you Auntie Penny.”, Meygan said.
“ I love you too sweetie. I love you and your brother so much.”, Penny said with a smile as she kissed Meygan’s head.
“ And I do too.”, Midge said as she kissed Meygan’s head too. The two women finished bathing Meygan and redressed her in a fresh set of clothes before Penny wrapped a bandaid around Meygan’s finger and kissed it. Then a few hours later Michaela came to pick her children up.
“ Hi Penny and Midge.”, Michaela said when she walked in.
“ Hi Michaela.”, Penny and Midge said.
“ Mommy!”, Meygan and Damien exclaimed as they got off the couch and ran to their mother.
“ Hi Damien and Meygan! Did you two have fun?!”, Michaela exclaimed as she knelt on the floor embracing her two children giving them each a kiss on the head.
“ Yes!”, Damien and Meygan exclaimed.
“ That’s good, um… why is Meygan wearing a different set of clothes than the ones that I sent her to daycare in?”, Michaela asked as she noticed the different outfit that her daughter was wearing.
“ Meygan had an accident on herself after she accidentally shocked herself with the electrical outlet while trying to plug the tv in for Damien.”, Midge said.
“ Oh Lord, Meygan?! What have your daddy and I told you and Damien about touching that kind of stuff without supervision?! That is dangerous and you can hurt yourself!”, Michaela scolded her 4 year old daughter.
“ I know mommy and I’m sorry. I won’t do that anymore.”, Meygan said.
“ Good make sure you do. Come on it’s time to go home. Daddy’s already there waiting for us.”, Michaela said.
“ Ok bye Auntie Penny and Auntie Midge!”, Meygan and Damien said as they grabbed their stuff and followed their mother out the door.
“ Bye Meygan and Damien. See you again soon.”, Penny and Midge said as they then said goodbye to Michaela as she was leaving with the twins. When Michaela got home with the kids she told Sheldon what had happened after he asked why Meygan was wearing a different outfit and he ended up lecturing his daughter about it to which she apologized again for and promised she wouldn’t do it again. But little did Michaela and Sheldon know that Meygan’s one involuntary accident at Penny’s apartment would suddenly turn into multiple frequent involuntary accidents almost every single day when she couldn’t make it to the toilet in time despite the fact that both her and her twin brother were potty trained to the point where they took her to a pediatric doctor for examination and what she told the married couple was horrifying. She said that the electrical shock that Meygan had received had unfortunately caused some permanent nerve damage in the connection between the bladder sphincter and the brain resulting in her diagnosis of involuntary incontinence meaning that Meygan had regressed back to infancy and therefore would have to wear diapers for the rest of her life to prevent life-threatening diseases from plaguing her little body. And so after the appointment they drove to the pharmacy to pick up some diapers before they drove back home.
“ But I don’t want to wear diapers anymore!”, Meygan cried as she sat on her mother’s lap on the edge of the bathtub in the bathroom with her father sitting next to her. A package of diapers was sitting on the edge of the tub next to him.
“ Oh we know sweetheart but unfortunately the doctor says you have to. She doesn’t want you to get sick and die from a potentially life-threatening illness.”, Michaela sadly said as she rubbed circles on her daughter’s back.
“ But everyone’s going to make fun of me and I won’t have any friends!”, Meygan cried.
“ Meygan Kapri Cooper please do not say that, you will have friends. Just because you have this kind of medical condition now doesn’t make you a nobody. You’re still a very beautiful little girl inside and out and your mother and I still love you very much.”, Sheldon sadly as he shook his head.
“ But daddy I’m scared!”, Meygan cried.
“ I know but it will all be alright.”, Sheldon sadly said as he rubbed her back too.
“ It’s ok Meygan, I hold your hand.”, Damien said as he came into the bathroom and gently grasped his twin sister’s hand as she contined to cry into their mother’s shoulder.
“ Aww that’s sweet Damien that you want to try comforting your sister but unfortunately this is kind of private right now. Do you mind going to do something else for a bit?”, Michaela sadly said.
“ Ok mommy.”, Damien said as he walked out of the bathroom and went to his room.
“ Thank you.”, Michaela sadly said.
“ Ok, let me have her. Oh Lord this sucks Michaela.”, Sheldon sadly said as he gently took Meygan from his wife placing her on his lap.
“ I know Sheldon but we have to do it for our daughter’s health.”, Michaela sadly said. Sheldon nodded his head as he then gently laid Meygan down on her back across his lap, removed her shorts and slipped her underwear off before he threw them away in the trash can and opened the diaper package that was sitting on the rim of the tub that was beside him. He then took one out and wrapped it around her lower abdomen before he put her shorts back on over the diaper. He then sat her back up and kissed her head as she continued to cry about the fact that she was back in diapers and would be for the rest of her life until the day she died.
“ Ok come on sweetheart, I think it’s time for a nap.”, Sheldon softly said as he stood with Meygan in his arms and carried her out of the bathroom with his wife following him to Meygan’s room. He then placed her in her bed and tucked her in as she still continued to cry.
“ Shhh, go to sleep Meygan. It’s nap time.”, Michaela softly said as she gently stroked her daughter’s head running her fingers through her hair. She started to sing a lullaby that she had sung to her and Damien when they were babies. Within minutes Meygan calmed down and fell asleep. Michaela and Sheldon then went to get Damien down for a nap too before they headed back out into the living room. Sheldon then told Michaela that he was going to go to Leonard’s apartment for a bit before he left the house and walked the short distance to the apartment complex while Michaela stayed at home to clean the kitchen.
Knock knock knock! “ Leonard.”

“ Hey.”, Sheldon sadly said when Leonard opened the door.
“ Hi buddy, come on in.”, Leonard said as he stepped aside.
“ Thank you.”, Sheldon sadly said as he walked in and Leonard shut the door behind him.
“ Sheldon you ok?”, Leonard asked in concern when he noticed the sadness in his best friend’s voice.
“ Not really Leonard.”, Sheldon sadly said as he sat down in his former spot that he always sat in when he had lived there with Leonard before he married Michaela.
“ Well what’s got you upset?”, Leonard asked in concern as he sat down next to him. Sheldon immediately just broke down and cried as Leonard then just pulled him into an embrace rubbing circles on his back.
“ Meygan’s doctor’s appointment was awful today!”, Sheldon cried.
“ Oh god, what happened?”, Leonard asked in concern.
“ Because of the electrical shock that Meygan got from the outlet in Penny’s apartment last week it’s created some permanent nerve damage between her brain and bladder sphincter connection that it’s regressed her and the doctor diagnosed her as having involuntary incontinence! She now has to wear diapers again for the rest of her life to prevent any future life-threatening diseases!”, Sheldon cried.
“ Oh buddy… that’s terrible. I’m so sorry.”, Leonard sadly said.
“ It’s the worst thing I’ve ever had to do in my life! It makes me sick just thinking about it, wondering how our lives are going to be moving forward! My sweet little girl is now going have to deal with something awful and have to worry about what others are going to think of her as she gets older! And that pains me to say that because I’m her father and I don’t want to see my daughter get upset! It feels like somebody stabbing me over and over again in my heart!”, Sheldon cried.
“ I know and it’s ok to feel like that but believe it or not you and Michaela are actually doing the best thing for her right now. You guys are choosing to do something that is hard to do rather than risking your daughter’s life. I know you guys and the last you would ever want to do is bury one of your kids if one of them suddenly caught some horrible disease and died as a result of it.”, Leonard sadly said.
“ You’re right, it hurts but you’re right! You are absolutely right Leonard! I take health concerns very seriously! I just hope Meygan doesn’t hate Michaela and I for doing this to her! Because that would really be the last thing that we would ever want to hear from our daughter! She’s the most precious thing in the world to us just like Damien is too!”, Sheldon cried.
“ Sheldon she will never hate you two for this. She may be upset about the fact she has to wear diapers again now for the rest of her life but someday she’s going to thank you guys for giving her the best care possible. Life doesn’t stop just because things suck.”, Leonard sadly said.
“ You’re right! I just hope that the world isn’t too cruel to her for this! I’m already dreading the day when they start school! Kids can be so cruel sometimes and the last thing my wife and I would ever want to hear about is our daughter being bullied for her condition!”, Sheldon cried.
“ I know but it’s going to be ok. We’ll all get through this together. We just have to take it one day at a time.”, Leonard sadly said.
“ If my daughter ends up making one friend, at least just one friend, I would be very happy about that because then I would know that somebody else cares about her other than all of you, her mother, her brother and I!”, Sheldon cried.
“ She will, don’t worry about that. I can feel it in my gut.”, Leonard sadly said. Sheldon then calmed down and said, “ Thank you for having this conversation with me.”
“ Of course buddy. What are best friends for?”, Leonard said. Sheldon then stood up to leave. Sheldon then entered the house moments later while his wife Michaela was in the bathroom cleaning it and didn’t even know that he had walked back in. He then walked to the bedroom, shut the door behind him, and laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling as his mind fell deep in thought about everything that had happened. Shortly after this Meygan and Damien began to wake up from their nap. Meygan came out of her room first and ran to the living room throwing herself hugging a pillow into her chest as she began to get upset again about the fact that she was wearing a diaper. Damien came running out of his room and ran into the living room just as his twin sister started to cry out, “ Butternuggets, why?! Why did I do something so dumb in the first place?! My life is over!” Damien just stared for a moment before he, without saying a word, walked over to the stereo and turned it on to let some music play. The song that came out was Smile by Uncle Kracker. He then walked over to the couch, gently pulled his sister up to her feet and began to slow dance with her around the room, gently pressing her chest against his with her chin resting on his shoulder. Her crying silenced as her tears kept sliding down her face as well. This almost immediately caught Michaela and Sheldon’s attention as they came out from where they were in the house into the living room to see their two children in a loving embrace as they were slow dancing around together to the Uncle Kracker song that was playing on the stereo.
“ I love you sissy.”, Damien said into his sister’s ear.
“ I love you too. Thank you for being the best twin brother ever.”, Meygan cried.
“ Oh my heart! This is beautiful Sheldon!”, Michaela happily cried as she stood next to her husband.
“ Indeed it is Michaela.”, Sheldon said as a soft smile began to spread across his face. The two parents thought it was so sweet that their son was trying so hard to make his sister feel better about the condition that she was now going through. The others as well as the rest of the family came in as well to see what was going on. Midge immediately started crying happy tears making Penny, Bernadette, Amy and the other women in Michaela’s family as well as Sheldon’s family get teary eyed as well because they thought this was the sweetest thing that they had ever seen in their entire lives especially after Leonard had told everybody about what Sheldon had told him at his apartment.
“ Damien is the sweetest little boy ever!”, Penny happily cried as she walked to stand on the other side of Michaela right next to her.
“ Yes he really is! He loves his sister so much!”, Michaela happily cried.
“ Oh just stop already, this is too cute! I can’t take this!”, Amy happily cried. The touching scene lasted until the song was over. Michaela then carried Meygan into the bathroom to change her diaper before they both returned out into the living room to talk to everybody else. Then several years later when the twins were 17 years old and in their sophmore year of high school Damien had a friend over at the house one weekend while his mother and twin sister were out running errands and his father was working. The two boys were chatting about what normal boys talk about until something was said that Damien immediately took offense to.
“ Wait, what did you just say Kevin?!”, Damien asked with a bit of anger in his voice as he stared at his friend Kevin Clements.
“ Dude all I said is that your twin sister’s a baby!”, Kevin laughed.
“ Yeah that’s what I thought you said! Dude stop it, that’s not nice! My sister Meygan can’t help her condition ok! It was the result from her getting shocked in her finger by an electrical outlet in our aunt’s apartment when she was trying to plug the tv in for me when we were 4 YEARS OLD! Just because somebody is wearing diapers doesn’t make them a baby!”, Damien angrily said as he clenched his fists at his sides.
“ Damien it kind of does!”, Kevin laughed.
“ Yeah well if you’re going to say things like that about my sister then you have no business being friends with me and therefore you can just get the HELL out of my house!”, Damien shouted as he pointed his finger at the door. This spooked both Oakley and Max as they jumped up from the floor and skidded away.
“ Geez what’s your problem Damien Cooper?! All I said was…!”, Kevin hissed.
“ Yeah I know what you said and I DON’T like it! My problem is that I don’t tolerate people making fun of my twin sister just because of the fact that she’s INCONTINENT! It’s a medical condition that she can’t control what happens so you know what, GET OUT!”, Damien shouted in anger.
“ Well fine have it your way Damien Issac Cooper, I’m out of here!”, Kevin shouted as he walked out and slammed the door behind him.
“ Well who needs you Kevin Bullard Clements?! Screw you jerk!”, Damien shouted through the closed door. He then pressed his back against it and shouted in anger, “ FUCK!” as he then kicked a chair knocking it over. It was very clear that he had his father’s temper and short fuse by the way he was pacing the floor and opening and closing his hands as a way to release some of his anger.
“ Hi Damien we’re back!”, Meygan suddenly said when her and their mom walked in from the garage.
“ Oh hi mom, hi Meygan.”, Damien said as he still trying to diffuse his anger.
“ Damien where’s your friend?”, Michaela asked when she set the bag of groceries down on the kitchen island.
“ You mean Kevin Bullard ‘Jerk’ Clements?! Yeah I just kicked him out!”, Damien hissed.
“ What happened?”, Michaela asked with crossed arms as she stared at her 17 year old son in the face.
“ He was making fun of Meygan and calling her a baby!”, Damien hissed as he threw his hand out. His sweat was soaking through his Van Halen t-shirt that was underneath a checked flannel long sleeve shirt and blue jeans as he continued to pace the floor in anger. His twin sister stood there staring at him wearing a pair of black skinny jeans that covered up her adult sized diaper that she was wearing and a dark green t-shirt underneath a dark blue windbreaker jacket that was the same one that her father owned. On her right wrist she was wearing a sterling silver metal medic alert bracelet that said Incontinence on it. On her other wrist she had a wristwatch that looked very much like her father’s as well.
“ Oh god really, again?! This has got to stop!”, Michaela hissed as she rolled her eyes.
“ Yeah you’re telling me Mom! I’m sick of people doing that to me! Meygan can’t help her medical condition but yet everybody at school thinks it’s ok to make fun of her for it! It makes me want to ride up everyone’s asses like bucking Texas bull!”, Damien hissed.
“ Ok firstly do not use language like that in this house and secondly, doing things like that are only going to make things worse for your twin sister to be dealing with. Someday you’re just going to have to learn to ignore what people say.”, Michaela said with a disapproving look on her face with her son’s useage of profanity.
“ Yeah but how can I just do that Mom?! Meygan is twin sister! I love her and I don’t like it when people say mean things about her like that!”, Damien hissed.
“ Well your father and I don’t like it either but we’re just going to have to learn how to ignore the comments we get because let’s face it, this world is very cruel.”, Michaela said as she shook her head.
“ Yes it so is and I f*cking hate it! I hate it with a passion!”, Damien hissed.
“ Damien Issac Cooper what did I just say about the cursing?!”, Michaela scolded.
“ That you don’t want me doing it! My god, Mom!”, Damien hissed as he stormed off towards his room and slammed the door shut. He then sat down in his desk chair, tossing a baseball at the wall as a way to diffuse some of his anger which was the same one that he broke the vase with at 4 years old.
Knock knock knock! “ Damien.”

“ What?!”, Damien hissed in anger.
“ It’s Meygan. Can I just come in for a second bro?”
“ Sure sis.”, Damien said with a slight smile as he opened the door and stepped aside.
“ Thanks.”, Meygan said as she walked into her twin brother’s room and shut the door behind her before she sat down on the edge of his bed and he sat back down in his desk chair.
“ I’m so sorry you have to deal with this Meygan.”, Damien said with a sad face.
“ It’s fine Damien. I’m used to people making fun of me by now anyway.”, Meygan said with sad sigh.
“ Yeah but it’s not right! People shouldn’t treat you like that just because you have a medical condition!”, Damien sadly said.
“ They shouldn’t but they do it anyway.”, Meygan sadly said.
“ Yeah but look at what it’s doing to you! It’s just sending you into this downward spiral of depression and the last thing I would ever want to happen is for you to get so depressed that you end up taking your own life because of it! You have no idea how hard it is for me to listen to you cry everyday after school in your room all because stupid Hannah Wixom and her smartass friends can’t keep their mouths shut while kicking you around the high school hallways like a piece of trash! It makes me sick to my stomach!”, Damien sadly said.
“ Is that what you think this is?”, Meygan sadly asked.
“ Yes I do Meygan Kapri Cooper! It hurts me everyday just to see you get teased and bullied around like that just because they all think you’re a baby for wearing diapers! I can only imagine that for you it’s torture! To feel like everyone is all against you with no one to stand up for you! It makes me want to act like Dad does and scream at everybody!”, Damien hissed.
“ Well, Dad does do a lot of screaming sometimes, especially when he gets mad.”, Meygan said.
“ Exactly and you know what I don’t know what I’m saying. Look the point is I love you and I just want you to have a happy life. It makes me sad everyday that I’m able to make friends when you don’t have a single friend because of your condition.”, Damien sadly said.
“ I know you do and I love you too Damien Issac Cooper. You already do so much for me at school as it is with regards to getting everybody off my back.”, Meygan said.
“ Yeah but just me defending you everyday is not enough. I just wish people would be kinder to you and not judge you for something that you have no control over. You deserve so much better treatment from others than what you’re currently getting.”, Damien sadly said.
“ I know but no matter what people say I will always have you, no matter what.”, Meygan said as she stood up and walked over to her brother. A soft smile began to spread across her face.
“ You are seriously the best goddamn twin sister I’ve ever had in my life.”, Damien said with a smile as he pulled his sister into a loving embrace.
“ Back at you bro.”, Meygan said.
Knock knock!
“ Is everything alright in there?”
“ Yeah everything’s fine Mom. Damien and I were just talking.”, Meygan said through the closed door.
“ That’s fine Meygan but I think it’s time to change your diaper again. It’s been at least an hour and a half since we’ve been out running errands that you last had it.”
“ Alright I’m coming Mom.”, Meygan said as she walked out of Damien’s room following her mother to her room.
“ Will you please stop moving your legs Meygan. You’re going to hurt yourself.”, Michaela said as she was trying to remove Meygan’s soiled diaper.
“ I’m sorry but I can’t help it! It tickles everytime you and dad do that!”, Meygan laughed as she was laying on her bed while her mother was changing her.
“ I know but this will only make this a longer process if you don’t hold still.”, Michaela said before she finally managed to get the fresh diaper on her and slipped her jeans back on over it.
“ Thanks Mom. I love you.”, Meygan sat as she then sat back up on her bed and crossed her legs like a pretzel.
“ Of course, I love you too Meygan. Your father and I both love you very much, same goes for your twin brother Damien too.”, Michaela said as she stripped the gloves off, throwing them away along with the other used items and kissed the top of her daughter’s head.
“ Yeah speaking of Dad when’s he supposed get home from work?”, Meygan asked as she started playing with her cell phone.
“ He gets off from Caltech at about 5 today and your Uncle Leonard’s going to drop him off. Why do you ask?”, Michaela said.
“ No reason, I was just curious.”, Meygan said.
“ Ok well I’m going to go put the groceries away. If you need anything else just come tell me.”, Michaela said as she was heading to the bedroom door.
“ Ok I will, thanks.”, Meygan said as she shut the door after her mother walked out. Meygan then grabbed her iPod and turned on the song Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson as she then fell back on her bed singing the words to the song.
“ Here’s the thing, we started out friends! It was cool but it was all pretend! Yeah, yeah, since u been gone! You’re dedicated, you took the time! Wasn’t long til I called you mine! Yeah, yeah, since u been gone!”, Meygan sang as she was shaking her head back and forth on the bed.
“ And all you’d ever hear me say, is how I pictured me with you! That’s all you’d ever hear me say!”, Damien suddenly sang with a smile when he came into his sister’s room before Meygan jumped up from her bed and the twins started singing the chorus together at the top of their voices as they were jumping around the room together, bumping their backs against each other. Michaela let out a giddy laugh as she was listening in while putting the groceries away out in the kitchen. Oakley started barking at all the thumping noises that Meygan and Damien were making in Meygan’s room over the Kelly Clarkson song that was playing on Meygan’s iPod. They listened to music for a while together before they went off to do their own things. Sheldon came home moments later after Leonard had dropped him off.
“ Hello Michaela, I’m home.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he took his messenger bag off his shoulder and hung it up before he kissed his wife.
“ Hi Sheldon. How was your day?”, Michaela said as she kissed him back.
“ It was good, I think I might be close to a scientific breakthrough.”, Sheldon said.
“ That’s great. Meygan and I just ran some errands earlier today so we finally have more groceries.”, Michaela said.
“ Wonderful. What else has been going on today? Anything exciting?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Not really Sheldon. Damien just kicked another friend out his life for making fun of our daughter.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh Lord, which of his friends was it this time?”, Sheldon asked as he rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“ Kevin Clements. He called Meygan a baby and Damien got mad at him while they were hanging out here earlier today. He kicked him out of the house shortly before Meygan and I got home.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh son of a bitch you got to be kidding me! That’s the 3rd friend he’s kicked out in the last 3 weeks! Seriously, when is this constant bullying going to end Michaela?!”, Sheldon hissed.
“ I don’t know Sheldon but I am getting very sick and tired of it. Meygan is such a sweet girl and she does not deserve this constant torment from everyone at school just because she has to wear diapers due to a medical condition that she can’t control.”, Michaela said in frustration as she shook her head.
“ Yes I very much agree and this whole thing sucks in general. Ever since our children started school and everyone started making fun of her for this, I can’t even tell you the last time I remember her being happy.”, Sheldon said in a sad tone.
“ You’re right, I can’t either. I just wish kids weren’t so cruel and that they would actually take the time to get to know her. I just want to see her make at least one friend so bad because right now all she has is Damien and that’s no happy life for a girl like her to be living if her only friend in the world is her twin brother.”, Michaela said in a sad voice.
“ I absolutely agree. As her father, it kills me to see her so sad all the time. Something has got to be done or our daughter is going to end up developing a mental health problem and I do not want Meygan ending up in a mental hospital.”, Sheldon sadly said.
“ I don’t either. She’s 17 years old and she’s too young for a place like that. If we were to send her there, she might never come back home again and the last thing I would ever want us to do is bury our sweet beautiful girl.”, Michaela said as she began to get teary eyed. Sheldon nodded his head in silence as he then pulled his wife into a loving embrace.
“ Hey Dad.”, Damien and Meygan said when they walked out into the kitchen.
“ Oh hello Damien and Meygan. Did you two have an ok day today?”, Sheldon asked when him and Michaela released each other.
“ Yeah we actually did despite me having to kick my friend out.”, Damien said.
“ Yeah your mother just told me that. Oh Damien I’m sorry.”, Sheldon said.
“ It’s fine Dad. I honestly think I’ll be better off without him anyway. People who make fun of Meygan like that do not deserve to be friends with me, in fact they have no business being friends with me if they’re going to do things like that.”, Damien said.
“ Well, I don’t know whether to be frustrated with you or proud of you.”, Sheldon said.
“ Dad you can feel whatever you want. Meygan is my twin sister and I love her.”, Damien said.
“ And that’s what makes your mother and I very happy. The fact that you care about and love your sister that much and that you would do anything to protect her.”, Sheldon said with a smile as he stared at his son.
“ Yeah it’s true, he may be my twin brother but he’s my absolute best friend.”, Meygan said.
“ Yes it appears that way.”, Sheldon said. He then turned to Michaela and said, “ Why don’t you start on dinner Michaela while I go take Meygan to her room to change her diaper and Damien washes his hands in the bathroom.”
“ Ok Sheldon.”, Michaela said as she went about preparing their dinner.
“ Only you would say stuff like that Dad.”, Damien said as he rolled his eyes at his father.
“ Hey that’s not appropriate right now! Now quit being a smart ass and go do what I said.”, Sheldon said as he narrowed his eyes at his son.
“ Ok ok geez Dad.”, Damien said as he headed to the bathroom to wash his hands while his father took his sister to her room to change her.
“ Good? Not to tight?”, Sheldon asked as he wrapped a fresh diaper around Meygan’s lower abdomen before he put her jeans back on her.
“ Yeah it feels good.”, Meygan said as she sat back up on her bed.
“ Good, I love you Meygan.”, Sheldon said as he kissed her head.
“ I love you too Dad.”, Meygan said.
“ Now please go wash your hands in the bathroom like I just told your brother to do.”, Sheldon said as he threw all the used items away in the trash.
“ Ok.”, Meygan said as she got off her bed. As she walked out of the room she interjected, “ Move your big butt Damien Issac! I’m coming in!” with her father following her.
“ Shut it Meygan Kapri!”, Damien laughed as he was walking out of the bathroom just as his sister was walking in with their father close behind. A short time later after they had all washed their hands they sat down at the table for dinner. They were in the middle of eating and talking to each other when all of a sudden Michaela’s phone rang. It was Midge.
“ Hey Michaela it’s Midge.”, Midge said in a somewhat serious-like tone.
“ Midge? What’s up?”, Michaela asked.
“ Um… Mr. Scott Landry just called me and he told me to ask you if you could go to his house tonight and pick up his mail for him.”, Midge said in a serious tone.
“ Sure I can do that but why?”, Michaela asked in confusion.
“ Uh… apparently he’s been admitted to the hospital.”, Midge said in a serious tone.
“ What?! Mr. Landry’s in the hospital?! What happened?!”, Michaela shrieked in shock with a gasp which immediately caught her husband and their two children’s attention as they stared at her.
“ One of the neighbors said that he had suffered a heart attack in the shower this morning and they had to call EMS to come get him out of there when they went to go check on him.”, Midge said in a serious tone.
“ Oh my God! You got to be kidding me?!”, Michaela shrieked.
“ I wish I was bestie.”, Midge said in a serious tone.
“ Ok, yeah I’ll go get his mail but I got to go up there to see him. What hospital is he at Midge?”, Michaela said in a low tone.
“ I think they took him to Pasadena General.”, Midge said in a serious tone.
“ Alright well thank you for letting me know about this because I would have never known considering the fact that I don’t live next to him anymore.”, Michaela said in a low tone.
“ No problem. Do you want me to meet you guys up there or…?”, Midge asked.
“ No it’s fine Midge, you’ve already done enough by letting me know about this.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright well let me know how he is when you get up there.”, Midge said.
“ I will, bye bestie.”, Michaela said.
“ Bye.”, Midge said before she hung up.
“ Mr. Landry’s in the hospital Mom?”, Meygan asked in shock.
“ Yeah apparently so Meygan. Apparently he had a heart attack this morning and we didn’t even know.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh that’s terrible Michaela.”, Sheldon said.
“ Are we going to go see him?”, Damien asked.
“ What do you think Damien? Of course we are. His family is all out of state and he’s got no one to visit him except for us and everyone else he knows around this area. So lets finish eating, drive over to his house, pick up his mail and head up to the hospital.”, Michaela said.
“ Sounds good to me.”, Damien said. They all finished eating dinner before they left the house and drove over to Mr. Landry’s house only to discover that all the lights were off and the doors were locked.
“ Well, Midge was totally right. Scott’s not home what so ever.”, Michaela said as she peeked in the windows with Sheldon to see if they could see anything to no avail.
“ Here Mom, I just got his mail.”, Meygan said as she handed her mother the pile of mail that was in the mailbox.
“ Thank you sweetheart, come on let’s go.”, Michaela said as the three of them headed back to the car while Damien was still walking around the property, peeking into the windows.
“ Damien Issac Cooper come on! We’re going up to the hospital now! There’s nobody here!”, Michaela scolded.
“ Sorry Mom, I was just trying to help.”, Damien said as he made his way back to the car.
“ I know and I appreciate that but there are neighbors around here and the last thing your father want right now is the cops being called on us and the 4 of us ending up in jail all because our son is being a creeper!”, Michaela scolded.
“ Yeah I don’t think I want to be in jail, especially while wearing diapers.”, Meygan said.
“ None of us would Meygan.”, Sheldon said as Damien got back in the car and they pulled out of the driveway to drive up to the hospital. As Michaela was driving, the radio was turned on and the current song had ended before the song Down by Jay Sean feat. Lil Wayne started to play.
“ Oh shnikes, Down by Jay Sean feat. Lil Wayne!”, Damien exclaimed as he reached up front in between his parents from the back seat as he sat next to his twin sister and turned the volume up kind of loud as he started nodding his head to the music.
“ Damien do not turn up the volume that loud! You’re going to make all of us go deaf!”, Sheldon scolded his son as he immediately turn the volume back down to an appropriate level.
“ Oh come on Dad, I’m just trying to have fun!”, Damien laughed.
“ Yes but Damien you’re going to get us pulled over by the police! We can’t be exceeding too many decibels in a vehicle! That is called disturbing the peace and it’s illegal! We can get thrown in jail for that too!”, Michaela scolded.
“ Again, I don’t want to be in jail.”, Meygan said as she shifted slightly in the seat which made a slight crinkling sound from the diaper she was wearing underneath her jeans.
“ None of us do.”, Sheldon said. They all moved onto a different subject for the rest of the car ride and when they pulled in the parking lot at Pasadena General Hospital, Michaela parked the car and all 4 of them walked in through the rotating entrance doors.
“ Hello how can I help you?”, the hospital receptionist asked as she sat behind the lobby desk.
“ Yes hi, we’re here to see Scott Landry. My best friend just called me tonight and told me that he had been admitted here this morning for a heart attack.”, Michaela said.
“ Ah yes just a moment.”, the receptionist said as she began looking up patient records for the last name Landry in the computer system before she said, “ Yep he’s in 321A. Can I have your names please?”
“ Sure, it’s Michaela Janet Cooper, my husband Dr. Sheldon Lee Cooper and our twins Meygan Kapri Cooper and Damien Issac Cooper.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright thank you. Here are your visitors passes, you can go on up.”, the receptionist said as she handed each of them a visitors sticker with their names on them.
“ Thank you.”, Michaela said as she took them and they all stuck them on each other before heading to the elevator. Damien pressed the arrow up button on the wall and they waited for the elevator. Once the elevator doors opened the Cooper family stepped inside just as the female automated voice said, “ GOING UP.” Meygan then pressed the number 3 button and the doors shut before the elevator began to move.
“ THIRD FLOOR.”, the automated voice said again as the doors opened up again on the third floor of the hospital. They walked up to the nurse’s station and the nurse that was sitting behind the desk asked, “ Can I help you?”
“ Yes we’re looking for room 321A. We’re here to see Scott Landry.”, Michaela said.
“ I know where that is, I’m his nurse. Follow me.”, another nurse said as she walked down the hallway. Michaela, her husband and their twins followed her and when they got to the room the nurse knocked on the door and said, “ Scott Landry, you have some visitors.”
“ Oh great, send them in.”, Mr. Landry said with a smile as he sat up in the bed.
“ Hi Scott.”, Michaela said with a smile when the 4 of them walked into the room and the nurse walked back out to give them some privacy.
“ Michaela! What a nice surprise to see you, Sheldon, Meygan and Damien here! Come in, make yourselves comfy!”, Mr. Landry said as he continued smiling at her. His face looked a little frail and weak but other than that he looked like he was doing ok.
“ Thank you. Are you doing ok? Midge called me said that you wanted me to get your mail for you and told me about what happened this morning.”, Michaela said as she sat down in a chair after she placed the pile of mail on the bedside table while Sheldon, Meygan and Damien sat down on the bay window seat.
“ Yes I did, thank you. Yeah I’m doing ok now, it just kind of unexpectedly hit me out of nowhere while I was taking a shower this morning. I was shaving my chest with a razor when all of a sudden my arm started to hurt so I set it down and by that time my chest was hurting and then everything just went black in a matter of seconds.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Well that’s good that you’re ok now. Honestly when Michaela first said that we all got kind of worried for a moment.”, Sheldon said.
“ Yeah everybody was worried about me Sheldon but thankfully I’m still alive.”, Mr. Landry with a slight laugh.
“ Yes thank god. Is there anything else we can do for you right now Scott?”, Michaela asked.
“ Not at the moment Michaela but if I think of anything I’ll let you know.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Thanks I appreciate it.”, Michaela said.
“ Actually there is one thing, I almost forgot about this. I have something for each of the twins that I was going to give them earlier today but then this happened to me.”, Mr. Landry said as he reached over to the bedside table and grabbed the two items that he had got for Meygan and Damien.
“ Oh, ok. Damien, Meygan go see what he’s got.”, Michaela said.
“ Ok.”, Damien and Meygan said as they stood up and walked over to the bed to see what their mother’s former neighbor had for them.
“ Here, for you.”, Mr. Landry said with a smile as he handed the two of them the items. For Meygan he gave her a sterling silver heart-shaped locket that had a tiny picture inside of Meygan, Damien and Mr. Landry himself eating ice cream together the day that the twins went out for ice cream with their parents and on the back of it there was an engraving that said Love and friendship are never apart with the signature of Mr. S. Landry underneath it and for Damien he gave him a pocket switchblade with the same engraving on it.
“ Oh my god, this is beautiful. I love it, thank you Mr. Landry.”, Meygan said with a smile as she put the locket around her neck.
“ You’re very welcome Meygan. What do you think of the switchblade Damien?”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Oh man, this thing is sweet! I’ve always wanted a pocket switchblade! Thanks Mr. Landry!”, Damien exclaimed with a smile as he looked at the blade.
“ You’re very welcome Damien.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Yes well please be careful with that Damien. Don’t go around stabbing your friends with it as a joke.”, Sheldon said as he narrowed his eyes at his son.
“ Dad I’m not an idiot! Of course I wouldn’t do that! I could kill somebody with this thing!”, Damien laughed as he put the switchblade away into his pocket.
“ Yes that’s very much true.”, Sheldon said.
“ Scott Mitchell Landry you are seriously the sweetest man I’ve ever met in my life, thank you so much. You did not have to do that.”, Michaela said with a smile as she shook her head.
“ Oh it’s really no trouble Michaela. All of you guys are really like family to me anyway.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ And you’re like family to us too.”, Michaela said as she stood up and walked over to the bed, giving him a gentle friendly embrace as silent happy tears began to stream from her eyes. She had never met anyone so friendly and generous in all her life before. As the visit continued Meygan suddenly started to fidget with her hands meaning that she had just gone to the bathroom in her diaper and that it needed to be changed again.
“ Sheldon, Meygan’s fidgeting.”, Michaela said.
“ Alright give me the keys to the car for a moment. I’ll take her.”, Sheldon said as he stood up and held his hand out.
“ Ok here.”, Michaela said as she handed the car keys to him before he walked out of the room with Meygan to head outside the hospital to the car.
“ Where’s he going with her?”, Mr. Landry asked as he pointed in the direction that Sheldon went.
“ He’s taking her out to the car to change her diaper. She’s got a medical condition called involuntary incontinence that she was unfortunately diagnosed with at 4 years old after a freak accident involving an electrical outlet at Penny’s apartment.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh really? What happened?”, Mr. Landry asked in concern.
“ She was trying to plug the tv in for Damien because he wanted to watch tv and she got her finger a little too close to the outlet and it shocked her. So it’s because of that the doctor wants her to wear them for the rest of her life to prevent her from getting some very serious life-threatening disease and dying at a young age.”, Michaela said.
“ Oh that’s awful. I’m so sorry Michaela.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ It’s fine. It sucks but I guess this is how our life is meant to be now. But what makes this all really sad is the fact that because of her condition she hasn’t been able make a single friend at school at all. Everyone just makes fun of her and it’s just not fair because she’s such a very sweet girl and doesn’t deserve any of that.”, Michaela said.
“ Yes you’re right, she is a very sweet girl and gosh I just can’t imagine why anyone would ever want to do that to her.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ I can’t either. It just makes Sheldon and I feel so sad for her because it seems like not one person has anything nice to say to her.”, Michaela said.
“ Well, I’m getting this feeling that she will eventually make at least one friend. I believe that there’s a friend for every person, no matter who or what they are.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Yeah, but, I still don’t know. My mind is still in limbo at this point.”, Michaela said.
“ Well you and Sheldon just try to have a little bit of faith. Trust me, it will happen when you least expect it.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Thank you.”, Michaela said.
“ So if you don’t mind me asking, who is it that’s all bullying her?”, Mr. Landry asked.
“ Well it’s almost everybody in our school doing it but the main bullies are this girl named Hannah Wixom and her friends. She’s got like 3 or 4 friends or her main clique as she likes to call it but apparently she’s actually very popular.”, Damien said.
“ Well that makes perfect sense right there. Popularity makes you do a lot of stupid things that you shouldn’t do to others. It makes them think that they’re a big shot and that they can do whatever they want.”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Yeah that pretty much sums up Hannah because that’s what she thinks she is everyday she comes to school. Her and her friends boss everybody around and they treat Meygan like a piece of trash. They throw things at her, laugh at her, call her names, kick her around, shove her in the trash cans, trip her, just literally anything they could possibly do to make her life absolutely miserable and it just makes me so mad everyday I see that stuff happening. I just wish that it would stop.”, Damien said.
“ Well, sooner or later bad karma is going to get that girl I can tell you that much.”, Mr. Landry said. Sheldon and Meygan returned to the room moments later and the visit continues for a bit longer before they end up leaving to go back home. Mr. Landry then gets released from the hospital the next day and on the following Monday during passing time at school Meygan entered the hallway like she always did and once again she heard a boy interject, “ Hey look you guys, it’s baby freak Cooper!” followed by a huge loud chorus of laughter. Damien rolled his eyes in frustration as he watched his twin sister continue to walk away as quickly as she could with the laughter still following her and that frustration grew even more when he saw Hannah and her friends start surrounding Meygan.
“ Oh my god here we go again with this crap! I’m so sick of this shit!”, Damien cursed under his breath as he began to pace the floor with his fist tightly clenched at his side.
“ Hey where do you think you’re going Baby Shark?!”, Maryah Hilton laughed as she got up in Meygan’s face.
“ Yeah Meygan Cooper you going to go crying to your mommy and daddy?!”, Gia Macintosh laughed as she imitated the sound of a crying baby making almost everyone around them continue to howl with laughter.
“ Oh god please just go away and leave me alone.”, Meygan groaned.
“ Shut up loser! We’ll do whatever the freak we want, you’re not the boss of us!”, Chase Davidson laughed as she punched Meygan in the chest really hard making her almost drop her books.
“ I really don’t want to be bothered right now! Please go away!”, Meygan shouted with a little bit of fear in her voice. She began to feel very trapped at that point.
“ We don’t care what you want and… ew you smell like rotten eggs! Why don’t I just fix that right now?!”, Hannah Wixom laughed as she suddenly pulled Meygan’s pants down revealing her diaper to everyone as she then turned her around, kicking her legs out from underneath her and as Meygan fell to the floor screaming with everything flying from her hands baby powder was suddenly dumped all over her head before the bottle was thrown at the back of her head sending more powder everywhere, causing more howling laughter from the student body. This really ignited the boiling fire rage inside of Damien when he saw that happen. Another 17 year old girl with straight medium length blonde hair and with orange and dark emerald green streaks in it suddenly gasped in disgust at what she saw too. She was wearing a rainbow stripe colored t-shirt, blue jean shorts, white converses on her feet and she had glasses on her face with thin rose gold rims. She was also wearing a lot of makeup all over her body.
“ There! How do you like that you Baby Shark loser!”, Hannah laughed as she stood there with her 3 friends laughing it up with them and with the other studdents laughing it up as well.
“ Hannah you little whore I’m gonna break your face for that! Leave my twin sister Meygan alone!”, Damien shouted in boiling anger as he immediately got up in Hannah’s face clenching his fist at his side.
“ Shut up Damien Issac Cooper! You’re not going to do didley squat!”, Hannah laughed in his face.
“ Oh yeah we’ll see about that! You are really setting yourself up for a fight with me for this! NO ONE does that to my sister and gets away with it!”, Damien shouted in anger.
“ As if! Meygan you’re seriously gonna let your brother fight your battles for you?! You are seriously the most defenseless little baby I’ve ever met in my life!”, Hannah laughed as Meygan turned over and looked up at her with her pants still down around her ankles leaving her diaper still exposed.
“ This isn’t over you little witch! Come on Meygan let’s go!”, Damien shouted as he quickly helped Meygan get up so that she could pull her pants back up before the twins quickly grabbed her stuff and they stormed away from Hannah and the others still laughing it up while the other girl that had been watching the whole thing walked in the other direction with a look of anger on her face. But as Meygan and Damien were walking away Damien started making his way towards their next class but instead of Meygan following him she continued to storm off in the direction of the school entrance doors making him follow her calling out her name as she started to cry and run out the door. Damien ran after her and the two twins suddenly found themselves running all the way to Penny’s apartment. As Damien ran in after his sister he watched in horror as she suddenly screamed and cried, “ STUPID ELECTRICAL OUTLET! YOU RUINED MY LIFE!” while repeatedly punching it with her fist in a violent rage, knocking the tv plug out of it as the outlet made horrible electricity noises.
“ Meygan Meygan stop! What the hell are you doing?!”, Damien screamed as he grabbed his sister’s arms and pulled her away, pressing her back into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her midsection.
“ I fucking hate her Damien! I wish she would just die!”, Meygan cried as she was trying to pull away from him. Her hand was all bloody and slightly burned from the electrical volts that had come out of the socket when she struck it with her fist.
“ It’s alright sis! Come here!”, Damien sadly said as he gently pulled her over to the couch and sat down with her pulling her into a loving embrace as she continued to cry. Penny suddenly showed up a minute later after someone had called her at work saying that they saw Meygan and Damien running into her apartment.
“ Aunt Penny!”, Damien screamed when he looked up and saw Penny in the doorway.
“ Someone called me at work and told me you two were here! Oh bitchin’ god!”, Penny screamed as she immediately ran to the couch and pulled Meygan towards her chest in a loving embrace as Meygan continued to cry.
“ Oh sweetie what did you do?!”, Penny screamed when she looked at the damaged wall outlet before she looked at Meygan’s badly beat up bloodied and burned hand.
“ I punched the one thing that ruined my life in the first place, that stupid electrical outlet!”, Meygan cried.
“ Why would you do that?!”, Penny screamed.
“ Because I’m sick of being bullied! Everyone hates me! It makes me just want to go crawl into a hole and die!”, Meygan cried.
“ Shhh, it’s ok. Calm down. Let’s go take care of your hand and get you into my bed for a nap. I’m going to call your mom and tell her what happened.”, Penny said in a soothing voice as she then pulled Meygan up to her feet and walked her into the bathroom to treat the wounds on her hand before she tucked Meygan into her bed. Meygan cried for a few more minutes before she calmed down and fell asleep. Penny then called Michaela and told her what happened to which she told Penny that she would notify the school that she was pulling Meygan and Damien out for the rest of the day and that they could just stay there until her and Sheldon came to pick them up. A few hours later after Michaela and Sheldon got off work they went to Penny’s apartment to see Damien fired up with rage and Penny still trying to comfort Meygan after she woke up from her nap. Damien then explained the whole situation of what he saw that day at school and by the end of it Michaela almost got sick to her stomach while Sheldon got fired up with boiling rage. He couldn’t believe that Hannah had the nerve to completely embarrass his daughter like that in front of the whole school.
“ What the hell is going on in here?!”, Leonard screamed when he walked into 4B to see Sheldon throw a side table lamp across the living room in a fit of rage which smashed it into a million pieces as it hit the floor. Damien was still fired up as well punching his fists into the wall with anger and rage as well while Michaela and Penny were trying to comfort Meygan who was still crying about what just happened to her.
“ I’m at my wits end Leonard Hofstadter! That’s what’s going on! I’m going to kill somebody for this sh*t!”, Sheldon shouted in boiling anger as he started to pace the floor.
“ Buddy calm down! What are you mad about?!”, Leonard screamed.
“ Hannah Wixom, that’s what I’m mad about! She has really made me mad now for what she just did to my daughter! She’s a little wicked witch!”, Sheldon shouted in boiling anger.
“ What did she do now?!”, Leonard screamed. Sheldon then told him what Hannah did and it made him mad too.
“ Are you fucking kidding me?! She did that to my goddaughter! I’m gonna kill her for that!”, Leonard shouted in boiling anger too.
“ You two just calm yourselves! You getting all boiling mad right now is not helping the situation!”, Michaela hissed.
“ Well what are we supposed to do Michaela?! Hannah completely embarrassing Meygan like that by pulling her pants down in front of everyone and throwing baby powder at her is the last straw! Something has got to be done now or so help me Lord I’m going to end up killing somebody!”, Sheldon shouted in boiling anger as he looked at his wife.
“ Yeah and me too because I am so sick of this crap! This level of bullying has gone way too far now!”, Leonard shouted in boiling anger.
“ Yeah you’re telling me Uncle Leonard! I’m about 2 seconds away from riding up someone’s ass! I can’t take this anymore!”, Damien shouted in boiling anger as he punched the wall again.
“ Damien stop cursing! This is really not helping your sister right now!”, Michaela scolded her son as she held Meygan against her chest like a baby.
“ Yeah well I’m gonna curse all I want Mom because I’ve had it up to here with everything! I seriously want to strangle someone for this! Because THIS has really crossed the line now! This is not just bullying anymore, it has become dangerous harassment and if it doesn’t stop right now they’re going to end up killing Meygan! I don’t want to lose my twin sister!”, Damien shouted in boiling anger.
“ Damien none of us want to lose her! She’s such a very sweet girl and she doesn’t deserve this!”, Penny screamed.
“ Yeah to hell she doesn’t Aunt Penny!”, Damien shouted in boiling anger. The anger and rage continued to fire up for a while until they started to calm down but not because they wanted to but because they didn’t want to see Meygan continue to get upset. They then went their seperate ways a short time later. Then the next day at school when Meygan entered the classroom after Damien had already sat down everybody laughed at Meygan again for what happened yesterday making her storm to her desk, slamming her stuff down onto it before burying her face into it. Damien was about ready to go over to where his sister was sitting to comfort her when all of a sudden he was stopped by the same girl who had seen everything the day before when she walking into the classroom shouting, “ SHUT UP!” in anger forcing everyone to immediately shut their mouths. The principal’s voice suddenly came over the PA system shortly after that.
“ Attention students, this is Principal Sumner! May I please see Hannah Wixom, Gia Macintosh, Chase Davidson and Maryah Hilton in my office now!”, Principal Sumner bellowed in a loud booming voice before the system shut off.
“ What the…?”, Meygan asked in confusion as she lifted her head looking around just as the girl that had shouted at everyone to shut up suddenly came walking over and sat down next to her.
“ I got them in trouble for that.”, the girl said with a smile.
“ You told the principal on those girls?”, Meygan asked in confusion as she stared at this girl.
“ Yeah I did because that was just so uncalled for for what they did yesterday to you.”, the girl said.
“ Well… thanks.”, Meygan said in a soft voice.
“ No problem and oh my god I’m so rude. My name’s Melissa Cora Lakeston. What’s yours?”, Melissa asked with a smile.
“ Meygan Kapri Cooper.”, Meygan said in a soft voice.
“ Oh that’s a really pretty name.”, Melissa said.
“ Thanks, yours is too.”, Meygan said as a smile began to spread across her face. As the two girls sat there talking with each other and smiling Damien looked up to see this from where he was sitting in class and a smile began to spread across his face as well. He knew in that moment that his twin sister had finally made her very first friend.
‘ Yes! Finally someone is being nice to my sister for once! I so can not wait to tell Mom and Dad about this!’, Damien thought as the teacher came into the room and the lesson began with Meygan and Melissa still talking to each other periodically throughout it. Damien then saw the two girls have lunch together and share phone numbers. When school had ended that day, for the first time ever in a long time Damien saw the light come back into his sister’s eyes again and it made him so happy to see that.
“ Mom, Dad, you’re not going to believe this!”, Damien exclaimed with a smile when him and Meygan got home from school that day.
“ What is it Damien?”, Michaela and Sheldon asked.
“ Meygan made a friend in class today!”, Damien exclaimed as Meygan stood next to him with a big smile on her face.
“ You’re kidding?!”, Michaela and Sheldon gasped in shock as they stared at their son.
“ No I’m not I’m serious! Meygan finally made a friend!”, Damien exclaimed.
“ Oh this is wonderful!”, Sheldon exclaimed with a smile.
“ Meygan who’s your new friend?!”, Michaela asked with a smile.
“ This girl named Melissa Cora Lakeston! She got Hannah and her friends in trouble for what they did to me yesterday! She told the principal on them and got them sent to the office!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ Oh this makes us so happy! This is what your father and I have wanted for you for so long!”, Michaela exclaimed as her and Sheldon then embraced their daughter with happy tears in their eyes.
“ I know! I feel like someone just pulled me out of a dark hole now! She even gave me her phone number and told me she wanted to hang out with me sometime! This is seriously the best feeling that I’ve ever felt in my whole life in a long time!”, Meygan happily cried as she was embracing her parents.
“ Well whoever this girl is she’s a saving grace and your mother and I are very grateful for what she did.”, Sheldon said with a smile. Mrs. Wixom then called the house apologizing to them for her daughter’s behavior and said that she would most indefinitely be grounded for it. Meanwhile as Melissa was slowly approaching her house getting to the end of the driveway she suddenly heard something being shouted at her out the window that made her fear coming home everyday.
“ Where the hell have you been Melissa Cora Lakeston?! I’ve been waiting here for almost an hour!”, Mr. Chuck Lakeston shouted at his daughter through the window in an alcoholic fueled rage.
“ I was just walking home from school.”, Melissa said in a small meek fearful voice as she stood at the end of the driveway looking at her father through the window.
“ That’s not an excuse to be late! Now get your butt into this house!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger.
“ Ok. Coming Dad.”, Melissa fearfully said as she slowly walked up to the porch and into the house. When she walked in and shut the door behind her she stood there in fear of what to expect next.
“ What the fuck are you standing there for you little preturd?! Get out of my sight and go to your room!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger at his daughter as he threw his finger down the hallway. As Melissa then ran by him he suddenly threw an empty beer bottle in her direction and when it crashed into the wall smashing into a million pieces she screamed in terror as she ducked into her room and slammed the door shut. Melissa cried as she pressed her back against the door and felt like she wanted to disappear. She couldn’t understand why her father would treat her like this every single day for no reason at all.
‘ Seriously what is my dad’s problem?! What did I even do to him?! This is living hell!’, Melissa thought as she continued to cry. She cried for the rest of the day until she finally managed to go to sleep that night. The next day at school Melissa and Meygan were having lunch with each other again just talking and laughing when all of a sudden Meygan noticed Melissa getting real quiet.
“ Melissa? You ok?”, Meygan asked.
“ Oh… yeah I’m fine Meygan. I was just thinking about something.”, Melissa said with slight fear in her voice.
“ Well do you want to talk about it?”, Meygan asked.
“ Not really. So anyway what did you think of today’s literature test?”, Melissa asked as she immediately went back to her bubbly self.
“ Oh are you kidding me?! It was awful! It was so hard! I don’t even think I got half of it right!”, Meygan exclaimed as she rolled her eyes before stabbing her fork into her food.
“ Yeah you’re telling me and I’m usually great with tests!”, Melissa exclaimed as she shoved a mouthful of salad into her mouth after dumping a huge load of ranch dressing all over it.
“ Yeah well me too considering the fact that both my twin brother Damien and I have inherited genius IQs from our father!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ You’re father’s a genius Meygan?!”, Melissa asked.
“ Yeah he is Melissa! He’s a theoretical physicist that works at Caltech University! He has an IQ of 187!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ Shut up! That’s insane!”, Melissa exclaimed.
“ I know, right?!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ What does your mom do?”, Melissa asked.
“ She works at a grocery store as a cashier and stocks the shelves sometimes. What about your mom?”, Meygan asked.
“ I don’t have a mom. She abandoned me a long time ago for alcohol and prostitution.”, Melissa sadly said.
“ Oh Melissa that’s horrible. I’m so sorry.”, Meygan sadly said.
“ It’s fine. It’s just been me and my dad anyway. I’m an only child.”, Melissa sadly said.
“ Well what about your dad then?”, Meygan asked.
“ You know I’d rather not talk about my dad right now. Do you mind if we talk about something else?”, Melissa asked in a low tone.
“ Sure.”, Meygan said as the two girls went on talking about a different subject. They then decided to hang out with each other after school at the Cooper household. The girls decided to listen to music in Meygan’s room and the song playing was With Love by Hilary Duff.
“ So Meygan I forgot to ask you, where did you get that locket from?”, Melissa asked as she pointed at the heart-shaped locket that was around Meygan’s neck as they sat on Meygan’s bed facing each other with their legs crossed like pretzels.
“ Oh this? My mom’s former neighbor Mr. Scott Landry gave me this when he was in the hospital after he had an unexpected heart attack at home in the shower one morning. It’s got a picture in it and an engraving on the back. See?”, Meygan said as she showed Melissa the picture inside of the locket as well as the engraving on the back of the locket.
“ Aww that’s so sweet! What a sweet man he is!”, Melissa exclaimed.
“ Yeah you’re telling me Melissa! This guy is seriously the nicest man that Damien and I have ever met in our entire lives before! He really treats us like family and he’s really good friends with our mother!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ That’s great! Did Damien get something from him too?!”, Melissa asked.
“ Yeah he did, he got a pocket switchblade from him with the very same engraving on it!”, Meygan exclaimed.
“ Oh yeah of course, figures boys would like stuff like that!”, Melissa laughed as she rolled her eyes.
“ Yeah you think?!”, Meygan laughed.
“ What the freak are you two talking about in here?!”, Damien laughed as he walked into his twin sister’s bedroom.
“ We’re talking about Mr. Landry! Who do you think we’re talking about Damien?!”, Meygan laughed in amusement as she stared at her twin brother.
“ Look I don’t know what kind of stuff it is you girls talk about! I’m just a boy!”, Damien laughed.
“ Ha ha ha very cute bro!”, Meygan laughed in somewhat of a sarcastic tone.
“ Back at ya sis!”, Damien laughed as he then walked back out and headed to his room.
“ Wow Meygan, you seem to have a really great relationship with your twin brother!”, Melissa exclaimed.
“ Yeah it’s true Melissa, Damien and I are tighter than rocks! He’s my absolute best friend! We never really go anywhere without each other most of the time and we have a lot of fun together! Like there was this one time I remember when we were in 7th grade and during the weekend Damien and I decided to have fun with each other dancing to The Harlem Shake in the living room! We were making our dog Oakley go nuts as we were jumping around like idiots! It spooked our cat Max too!”, Meygan laughed.
“ Oh my god are you serious?! You guys were dancing to The Harlem Shake?!”, Melissa laughed.
“ Yes we were and what we didn’t realize at that moment is that our parents ended up walking in on us as we were doing it! Our mom just stood there laughing in amusement while our dad just interjected, “ What the hell?!” as he stared at us! It was seriously the funniest thing ever! You know what why don’t you just vision the flashback with me for a moment!”, Meygan laughed.
“ Ok!”, Melissa laughed as the two girls started to vision the flashback of the day that Meygan and Damien were dancing to The Harlem Shake in the living room.
Flashback…
14 year old Meygan sat at the dining room table browsing the web on her laptop one weekend afternoon just trying to decompress about everything that had happened to her in middle school that week when all of a sudden her 14 year old twin brother Damien walked into the dining room with his iPod and asked, “ Hey sis, whatcha doing?”
“ Nothing much Damien, just browsing the web.”, Meygan said.
“ That’s cool. But what do you say we have some fun?”, Damien asked with a smirk on his face as he fingered with his iPod in his hand.
“ What kind of fun are you talking about?”, Meygan asked as she shut her laptop and stood up from the chair which made her diaper crinkle slightly underneath her pants.
“ Oh I know! Come with me Meygan!”, Damien exclaimed as he grabbed his sister’s hand and they ran to the living room with Meygan interjecting, “ Ok whatever you say bro!” Damien then plugged his iPod into the docking station and turned on the song The Harlem Shake by Baauer as he then started to nod his head with an amusing smirk on his face.
“ Are you freaking kidding me right now?!”, Meygan asked with a slight laugh as she shook her head while staring at her brother.
“ Oh yeah that’s what’s up!”, Damien exclaimed as his head movements started to pick up even more with smirk growing bigger as he stared at his sister.
“ Ok you know what I don’t think that’s…!”, Meygan exclaimed before the song really exploded and the two twins busted out dancing with very amused smirks on their faces.
“ Cooper twin fire baby!”, Meygan exclaimed as she was bumping her back into her brother’s. Her metal medic alert bracelet on her wrist was jingling around as she was jumping around jerking her hands and arms everywhere as her head was shaking all over the place.
“ Oh yeah you said it sis! What’s up Pasadena?! Damien Issac and Meygan Kapri in da house yo!”, Damien exclaimed as he was doing the same thing his sister was doing.
“ Yeah you fools! Get the fuck out of our way!”, Meygan laughed.
Woof woof woof woof woof!
“ Oh just shut your trap Oakley! This is our time!”, Damien laughed.
“ Yeah what he said!”, Meygan laughed. As the Cooper twins continued dancing around the living room like idiots to the music making Oakley barking up a storm, Max skidded away letting out a kitty screech just as Michaela and Sheldon were walking in the door from running errands.

“ What the hell?!”, Sheldon interjected as he stood there next to his wife who was laughing her head off in amusement.
“ Oh hi Mom, hi Dad!”, Damien and Meygan laughed as they kept dancing like idiots with each other.
“ Uh hi! What are you two doing in here?!”, Michaela laughed in amusement as she stared at her son and daughter who were having the time of their lives at that moment.
“ We’re dancing to The Harlem Shake mom! It was Damien’s idea!”, Meygan laughed as she pointed at her brother.
“ You two are doing that sh*t?!”, Sheldon scolded as he put his hands on his hips narrowing his eyes at his two children.
“ Yeah Dad it’s the newest trend! Everyone’s doing it!”, Damien laughed as him and Meygan continued dancing like wild teenagers.
“ Yeah well regardless I think you two need to calm down before you hurt yourselves! In fact, Meygan I think it’s time to change your diaper again anyway!”, Sheldon scolded.
“ Oh son of a biscuit!”, Meygan hissed as they stopped what they were doing and Sheldon grabbed her hand walking her away towards her room.
End of flashback…
“ Wow, that’s insane Meygan! You guys looked and sounded like you had a really great time with each other!”, Melissa laughed.
“ Yeah we did Melissa, we had a total blast doing it! I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had that much fun with my twin brother in all my life in that moment before! It was one of the best days ever!”, Meygan laughed.
“ Well that’s great and oh crap I got to go now or my dad’s gonna kill me! See you tomorrow at school Meygan!”, Melissa suddenly shrieked when she looked at her watch to see what time it was before she bolted out of the room in a panic.
“ Ok… bye Melissa! See ya!”, Meygan exclaimed in confusion as she stared after her friend.
“ Woah where are you going in such a hurry?!”, Damien exclaimed when he saw Melissa running by his room.
“ Can’t talk now Damien! I got to go! See ya!”, Melissa shrieked as she kept on running.
“ Ok… see ya!”, Damien called out.
“ Melissa? What are you…?”, Sheldon and Michaela asked in confusion when they saw their daughter’s new friend running to the door in such a hurry.
“ Sorry Mrs. Cooper and Dr. Cooper but I got to go! I didn’t realize what time it was! My dad’s gonna kill me! Bye!”, Melissa shrieked before she ran out the door slamming it shut behind her.
“ Ok… bye!”, Michaela and Sheldon called out as they stared out the window watching Melissa run away like a bat out of hell down the street. When she finally got home she ran in slamming the door behind her just as her father shouted in anger, “ Where the f*ck have you been Melissa?!” as he stood in the middle of the living room holding an empty beer bottle in his hand. The house was a complete mess with things stacked everywhere.
“ I… I was hanging out with my friend Meygan I didn’t think you’d care…”, Melissa fearfully said but then screamed in terror ducking her head out of the way when her father suddenly chucked the beer bottle at her making it crash into the wall behind her. Her father then stormed into the kitchen, grabbed several garbage bags and stormed down the hallway to Melissa’s room making her run after him screaming, “ Dad stop! What the hell are you doing?!”
“ Shut up Melissa, this is what you get for disrespecting me! Every single piece of sh*t you have in here is going in the trash!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger as he started shoving things into the bags.
“ But you can’t do that to me! This is my stuff!”, Melissa screamed as she tried to stop her father from doing what he was doing.
“ I can do whatever the f*ck I want! Everything is garbage and it’s going out now!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger as he continued shoving things into garbage bags, even things that were hung up on the wall. As he then unplugged her tv and stuffed it into the bag before he went on to try grabbing her iPod and laptop off her desk to throw them into the bag as well Melissa tried to pull her father away but he turned around and immediately shoved her back in an alcoholic rage making her hit the back of her head on the door as he shouted, “ Don’t you dare touch me you worthless piece of crap! Get out of my way!” before he started dragging the bags out of the room, down the hallway and out of the house throwing them into the garbage can. He then stormed off after he grabbed another beer leaving Melissa sitting on the floor against her door crying. She continued to cry as she then stood up to look around her almost bare room with nothing left but a few clothes and her bed. She couldn’t believe what her father had just done to her. She then cried herself to sleep that night knowing that all her precious things she once had were now gone. The next day Melissa went to school trying to forget about what happened but no matter how hard she tried part of her still couldn’t shake it from her mind.
“ Melissa are you alright?”, Damien asked as him, Meygan and Melissa were walking in the hallway during passing time together.
“ Yeah I’m fine Damien. I just had a rough night last night.”, Melissa said with a sigh.
“ Well happened?”, Meygan asked.
“ I really don’t think I want to talk about it right now. Let’s just get to our next class and talk about something else.”, Melissa said.
“ Ok.”, Meygan and Damien said as the three of them kept walking together but they were suddenly stopped when Hannah walked up to them.
“ Where do you think you’re going you losers?!”, Hannah laughed in a snarky way.
“ Hannah go away! We don’t need to deal with the likes of you right now!”, Damien hissed in her face.
“ Damien let’s just ignore her. She’ll go away eventually.”, Melissa said as she rolled her eyes and they kept walking.
“ Yeah that’s what you think Melissa but I don’t think so!”, Hannah laughed as she began to follow them.
“ Look Wixom, we don’t want any trouble right now! So just shut up and go away!”, Melissa suddenly yelled in her face in anger.
“ Don’t you talk to me like that Lakeston!”, Hannah shouted in anger as she suddenly shoved Melissa into a locker making her back hitting it pretty hard with a loud bang.
“ Hey! Don’t you touch her like that! What the hell is your problem Hannah Rachel Wixom?!”, Damien shouted in anger as he grabbed Hannah’s arm in a death grip.
“ I don’t have a problem Damien Issac Cooper! Let go of my arm!”, Hannah shouted as she jerked her arm away from him.
“ Just leave us alone Hannah! We don’t want to be bothered!”, Meygan shouted in her face.
“ Shut your freakin’ mouth Meygan Kapri Cooper!”, Hannah shouted as she suddenly slapped Meygan hard across the face.
“ Ow!”, Meygan screamed in pain as she rubbed her cheek where Hannah hit her.
“ Ok listen here you little witchy whore! You touch my sister like that again and I’m gonna murder you!”, Damien shouted in anger in her face.
“ Get out of my face Damien!”, Hannah shouted.
“ Alright that’s enough! Break it up and get to class now!”, Principal Sumner shouted when he was walking down the hallway and saw the altercation going on before he walked away.
“ Yeah come on let’s just go you guys!”, Damien hissed as they started storming away from Hannah.
“ Later losers!”, Hannah laughed as she walked the other way.
“ Melissa you ok?”, Meygan asked.
“ Yeah I’m fine Meygan. You?”, Melissa said.
“ Yeah.”, Meygan said.
“ Good. Let’s just try to forget about Hannah now. She’s a dirty apewoman anyway.”, Damien said as he rolled his eyes.
“ Yeah you got that right bro.”, Meygan said with a scoff.
“ Hey Meygan this might be a rude question to ask, but, is there any chance I could stay the night with you tonight?”, Melissa asked with a sigh.
“ Sure totally.”, Meygan said.
“ Thanks.”, Melissa said.
“ Wait woah woah woah, hold up! You guys are planning on having a sleepover tonight at our house?!”, Damien exclaimed in shock.
“ Yeah Damien, why do you ask?”, Meygan asked in confusion as she stared at her twin brother.
“ Um Mom and Dad are supposed to go to a gala party at Caltech tonight with our aunts and uncles and we can’t stay home by ourselves all night. They want us to go over to Mr. Landry’s and spend the night there.”, Damien said as he shook his head.
“ Well that’s not a problem bro, Melissa can just come with us.”, Meygan said.
“ Sounds cool to me. I would love to actually meet this sweet man you guys have been talking about.”, Melissa said with a smile.
“ Ok, cool! You’re gonna f*cking love him Melissa! He’s the sweetest man in this whole freakin’ world!”, Damien exclaimed. They headed into their next class together and when school was done for the day Melissa went back to the Cooper household with the Cooper twins and Meygan ended up asking their parents if it was ok if Melissa could go with them over to Mr. Landry’s with them to spend the night to which they surprisingly said yes to. Later that evening shortly after they were dropped off at Mr. Landry’s house and Melissa met him for the first time the 3 friends decided to listen to Damien’s iPod in the living room dancing around like idiots to Pokerap GS(Alvin and The Chipmunks version).
“ Oh yeah that’s what’s up bro!”, Meygan exclaimed as she was shaking her hips to the song around Mr. Landry’s living room.
“ Yeah I totally agree Meygan! Best tune ever Damien!”, Melissa exclaimed as she was doing the same thing.
“ Thanks sis and Melissa! I thought it was cool when I listened to it on YouTube so I decided to download it into an MP3!”, Damien exclaimed as he was also doing the same thing the two girls were.
“ Cooper twin fire baby?”, Meygan exclaimed with a smile as she stared at her twin brother.
“ Oh yeah!”, Damien exclaimed as he smacked his twin sister’s hand really hard.
“ You two are so funny!”, Melissa laughed as she stared at her two friends.
“ Well what can I say Melissa?! He’s my twin and my best friend at the same time!”, Meygan laughed as she pointed at Damien.
“ You got that right sis! Airplane!”, Damien laughed as he threw his sister up onto his shoulders, spinning around with her really fast making her start laughing like crazy.
“ Damien you dork, you really know how to make me laugh!”, Meygan laughed as she was spreading her arms out like an airplane as her brother kept spinning around with her on his shoulders.
“ Well you make me laugh too Meygan! You make me laugh every single day we have fun together!”, Damien laughed as he kept spinning around with Meygan.
“ Hey hey hey calm yourselves down out there! Don’t be hurting yourselves in my house!”, Mr. Landry called out from the kitchen.
“ We’re not Mr. Landry! We’re just having fun with each other!”, Damien laughed as he kept spinning.
“ Yeah what he said! This is awesome!”, Meygan laughed.
“ Hell yeah it is! Cooper twin fire!”, Damien laughed.
“ Yeah and throw some Lakeston fire in there too and we got ourselves a party!”, Melissa laughed as she was still dancing around like an idiot to the music.
“ Yeah we do! That’s a great one Melissa! Best way to have a sleepover at mine and Damien’s mother’s former neighbor’s house!”, Meygan laughed.
“ Yes well like I said please be careful! I don’t want your mother and father screaming at me for letting you two get hurt in my house!”, Mr. Landry called out again.
“ Alright fine, we’ll calm down!”, Damien laughed as he stopped spinning around and set his sister down.
“ Thank you Damien!”, Mr. Landry said when he walked into the living room.
“ Hey I got an idea, let’s watch a movie.”, Meygan said as she shut Damien’s iPod off before she sat down on the couch.
“ Great idea Meygan! I’ll go make some popcorn!”, Melissa said as she ran to the kitchen.
“ Sweet!”, Damien exclaimed as he sat down next to Meygan on the couch.
“ Popcorn kernels are in the pantry Melissa!”, Mr. Landry said.
“ Thanks for letting me know Mr. Landry!”, Melissa said as she went into the pantry and got the jar of popcorn kernels before she walked over to the stove with them. She poured some oil and the kernels into a pot and added salt and butter to it before she placed the pot on the stove with a lid on top, turning on the burner. But just as Mr. Landry was turning on the tv out in the living room him, Damien and Meygan suddenly heard a bunch of popping sounds coming from the kitchen followed by Melissa interjecting, “ Oh butternuggets!” as the popcorn was popping out of the pot and all over the stove.
“ Melissa what the hell are you doing to my kitchen?!”, Mr. Landry yelled at her when he came running in there with Meygan and Damien behind him.
“ I don’t know!”, Melissa suddenly cried out as she shut the burner off and backed into a corner making herself look small as she sat on the floor hugging her knees into her chest. The twins and Mr. Landry just stood there in shock at what was happening to someone who was so bubbly a minute ago that was now reduced to looking like a small traumatized puppy.
“ Melissa are you ok?”, Meygan asked in concern as she stared at her new friend.
“ Yeah what’s going on with you all of a sudden? Why do you sound like you’re afraid?”, Damien asked in concern as he stared at her too.
“ That’s because I am Damien! I’m terrified of being yelled at by men!”, Melissa cried.
“ Why would that make you afraid?”, Mr. Landry asked in concern. Melissa tried to get the words out but couldn’t form them so Mr. Landry walked over to her, getting down at her level and asked in a soft concerned tone, “Melissa you can tell me, I’m not going to yell at you. What’s wrong?”
“ It’s my father, he treats me like crap! He yells at me for everything I do for no reason at all! He gets so drunk that he throws things at me, things like beer bottles! One time during the middle of winter with temperatures between 15 and below zero he locked me out of the house and wouldn’t let me back in for several hours and just yesterday he did the worst thing ever to me, he threw all my things in the trash after he threw another beer bottle at me! He said I was disrespecting him and he called me a worthless piece of crap as he shoved me into my bedroom door, making me hit my head while I was trying to stop him from what he was doing! All I have left from that is some of my clothes and my bed! And what also doesn’t help is the fact that my mom abandoned me a long time ago for alcohol and prostitution!”, Melissa cried.
“ What?!”, Meygan and Damien gasped in horror. They couldn’t believe what Melissa just said.
“ Are you fucking kidding me?! Your father abuses you?!”, Mr. Landry asked in concern as he stared at her in horror.
“ Yes he does, everyday! He’s been doing it for years! That’s why I hate going home everyday after school because I’m afraid of what he’s going to do next to me! And not once have I ever heard the words I Love You!”, Melissa cried as she nodded her head.
“ Oh sweetheart… I’m so sorry that you’re going through this kind of situation.”, Mr. Landry said in a sad tone as he then pulled her into a loving embrace.
“ I just want to get out of that house so bad and disappear! I also just want somebody to love me for once in my life instead of treating me like crap like my father does! That’s all I ask!”, Melissa cried into his shoulder as he was rubbing gentle circles on her back.
“ Well I have a solution for this, why don’t you stay here with me for a few days and we’ll figure something out.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ But if I do that my dad’s gonna kill me and send me to a watery grave! I don’t want that, I’m only 17!”, Melissa cried.
“ Melissa listen to me. No he’s not because I’m going to do something about this. This is so wrong what your father’s doing to you. He’s essentially breaking your spirit by doing things like that to you. So stay with me and I’ll handle this.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Ok. Thank you.”, Melissa cried as she then stood up and ran out into the living room, curling herself up onto the couch crying into a pillow.
“ Damien, Meygan, why don’t you two go out there and sit with Melissa for a bit. I’m going to call your mother and let her know what’s going on.”, Mr. Landry said as he stood up.
“ Ok Mr. Landry.”, Meygan and Damien said as they walked out of the kitchen and sat down around Melissa as she continued to cry.
Ring ring ring!
“ Hello?”, Michaela answered.
“ Hi Michaela it’s Scott, listen do you have a minute to talk for a second?”, Mr. Landry asked in a low tone.
“ Uh sure we’re all just kind of mingling at this point but what’s up?”, Michaela asked.
“ Ok… have you and Sheldon noticed anything odd about Melissa lately?”, Mr. Landry asked in concern.
“ Well, when she was done hanging out with Meygan yesterday we saw her run home in quite a hurry but didn’t think much of it. Why do you ask?”, Michaela asked.
“ Because I think I just found out the reason for all of that. Michaela… her father abuses her.”, Mr. Landry said in concern.
“ What?! What do you mean he abuses her?!”, Michaela asked in concern.
“ I mean he gets severely drunk on alcohol to the point where he throws things at her, things like beer bottles. He also locked her out of the house in the middle of winter one time in freezing cold temperatures refusing to let her back in for several hours and oh my god I can’t even say what this guy did to her yesterday, it’s just awful.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone as he shook his head.
“ Well what did he do to her yesterday?”, Michaela asked in concern.
“ He apparently got so mad at her when she came home after hanging out with Meygan that he threw another beer bottle at her and… he threw all her things in the trash. He told her that she was disrespecting him, called her a worthless piece of crap and shoved her into her bedroom door making her hit her head against it as she was trying to stop him from what he was doing.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Oh my god, I think I’m gonna be physically sick! Melissa told you all of this Scott?!”, Michaela gasped in shock and horror as she clasped her hand over her mouth.
“ Yes she told me after I yelled at her for making a mess with the popcorn in my kitchen. She backed herself into a corner and I asked her what was wrong and so she told me everything. My heart is just breaking for this girl now.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Yeah me too! Oh this is horrible! I can’t believe that sweet girl is being treated like this! What are you going to do about this Scott?!”, Michaela sadly said.
“ Well I told her she could stay with me for a few days and that we’ll figure something out.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Good, please do! I don’t want her going back to that house and please make sure that you lock all the doors and windows tonight and keep checking on the 3 of them periodically throughout the night because if what you’re telling me about Melissa’s father is what’s actually going on there’s no telling what this guy will do and I don’t want my children getting caught in a crossfire if something happens!”, Michaela said in a serious tone.
“ Oh believe me Michaela I wouldn’t want that happening either. So yes I will lock all the doors and windows tonight and I’m gonna sleep with a baseball bat under my pillow just in case if something happens. There’s no way in hell I’m letting that guy hurt those kids.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Good, thank you. I’m gonna hang up now but thank you so much for letting me know about the situation. I really appreciate everything you’re doing Scott.”, Michaela said in a serious tone.
“ You’re very welcome Michaela. Alright have a good night, bye.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Thank you and good luck with your night, bye.”, Michaela said in a serious tone before she hung up. She began to get the sudden urge to throw up as she clasped her hand over her mouth which immediately caught her husband’s and their friends’ attention as they were mingling with other people at the Caltech gala party in the cafeteria.
“ Michaela, are you alright honey?”, Sheldon asked in concern as he walked over to his wife. The others walked over as well to see what the problem was.
“ Yeah you look like you’re going to throw up or something.”, Howard said in concern as he stared at his friend.
“ That’s because I feel like I am Wolowitz!”, Michaela shrieked as she kept feeling like she was going to vomit.
“ Well what the hell is going on and who were you on the phone with?!”, Leonard asked in concern.
“ Leonard I was on the phone with Scott Landry!”, Michaela said.
“ Well what did he have to say?!”, Penny asked in concern.
“ Ok well you guys all know Meygan’s new friend Melissa Lakeston?”, Michaela asked.
“ Yes, what about her?”, Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Amy, Howard, Bernadette, Midge, Raj and Stuart asked in concern.
“ Well Scott just told me the most sickening thing I’ve ever heard about her in my life!”, Michaela shrieked shaking her head as she made a silencing motion with her hands.
“ Well what did he tell you?!”, Amy asked in concern.
“ Melissa’s father is abusive to her! He gets drunk to the point where he throws beer bottles at her, locked her out of the house in the middle of winter and yesterday he just did the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my life! He got so mad at her when she came home from hanging out at our house with Meygan that he threw another beer bottle at her and he threw almost everything from her room in the trash! He said she was disrespecting him, called her a worthless piece of crap and shoved her into her bedroom door making her hit her head against it as she was trying to stop him from what he was doing!”, Michaela shrieked as tears started forming in her eyes.
“ WHAT?!”, Leonard, Sheldon, Bernadette, Penny, Midge, Amy, Raj, Howard and Stuart shrieked in horror.
“ HOLY CRAP!”, Raj shrieked as his mouth dropped open with the others doing the same.
“ That f*cking son of a bi*ch!”, Howard shrieked.
“ Oh Lord this is awful!”, Sheldon shrieked.
“ I think I’m gonna be physically sick too!”, Bernadette shrieked as she started to gag as well.
“ That guy should be in jail for this! Nobody should treat their child like that!”, Midge shrieked.
“ Yeah I completely agree Midge, that guy’s dead! You know what I should give him a whooping of Nebraska on his a** with my Slugger bat!”, Penny hissed in anger.
“ Somebody should choke Mr. Lakeston out is what they should do!”, Stuart hissed.
Mr. Landry’s house…
Mr. Landry put his phone down as he walked back out into the living room to see Meygan and Damien sitting on both sides of Melissa on the couch gently rubbing her back as she sat in between them hugging a pillow into her chest crying.
“ I’m so scared! What if my dad comes here tonight and hurts us?!”, Melissa cried.
“ Melissa Cora he’s not gonna get a foot in this door. I won’t let him, no way no how.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone as he knelt down in front of her.
“ Why didn’t you tell us this right off the bat? We could have already told our parents right away.”, Meygan asked in concern.
“ I was afraid to Meygan because I thought my dad was going to kill me if I said anything! He’s got a shotgun!”, Melissa cried.
“ Yeah but still you should have said something to begin with despite your fear.”, Meygan said in concern.
“ Yeah we’re friends Melissa! That’s what friends do!”, Damien said in concern.
“ I know but I couldn’t let go of my fear Damien! My dad scares the hell out of me!”, Melissa cried.
“ Well you know what, I think we should just skip the movie tonight and go straight to bed.”, Mr. Landry said as he stood up and latched the front door and windows before he went around the whole house latching everything shut. The twins and Melissa then got ready for bed after Meygan had her diaper changed and they crashed on the living room floor with Melissa sandwiched in between the two twins. Mr. Landry then got ready for bed as well and grabbed his baseball bat before he headed to his room and shut the door. Throughout the night he kept waking up to come out into the living room with a flashlight to check on the 3 teenagers before heading back to sleep. Then the next day after Michaela told her family and Sheldon’s family about what was going on they all showed up over at Mr. Landry’s house with her, Sheldon and the others to hopefully get some more information out of Melissa as to what was really going on between her and her father. Melissa was sitting at the kitchen table drinking a hot chocolate with the twins, Mr. Landry and everyone else surrounding her.
“ You ok sweetie?”, Penny asked.
“ Not really but I’ll be fine.”, Melissa quietly said as she took another sip of her hot chocolate.
“ So how did this actually all go down? Like what exactly happened?”, Stuart asked.
“ Well I somehow lost track of time while I was hanging out with Meygan after school and so I ran home as fast as I could and my dad was waiting for me in the living room holding an empty beer bottle. He yelled at me asking me where I’ve been and I told him I was hanging out with Meygan to which he just threw the bottle at me in an alcohol fueled rage and then without saying anything else he just stormed into the kitchen, grabbed several garbage bags and stormed into my room tossing things into them. I ran in after him screaming, “ Dad stop! What the hell are you doing?!” to which he turned around and yelled at me, “ Shut up Melissa, this is what you get for disrespecting me! Every single piece of sh*t you have in here is going in the trash!” and then when he grabbed my tv, iPod, and laptop shoving them into the bag as well I tried to pull him away and that’s when he turned around and shoved me hard into my door shouting, “ Don’t you dare touch me you worthless piece of crap! Get out of my way!” before he just dragged the bags with my stuff in it outside and threw them in the garbage can.”, Melissa sadly said with a sigh.
“ Bitchin’ hell.”, Howard muttered under his breath as he rolled his eyes.
“ Your father’s an animal for doing that.”, Sheldon said under his breath as he shook his head.
“ Yeah he really is Dr. Cooper. He didn’t even give me a say in it, he just blatantly did it to me.”, Melissa sadly said.
“ Well is that stuff still sitting out there?”, Penny asked.
“ No it’s all gone now. The trash truck picked it up yesterday.”, Melissa sadly said.
“ Ok well somebody’s got to replace all that stuff because that is your property.”, Leonard said under his breath.
“ I know Dr. Hofstadter but how am I going to replace almost everything I had?! I had a lot of stuff in that room and now it’s all gone all because my dad decided to be a complete jerk and pitch everything for no reason! I also used to have a Golden Retriever puppy but my father intentionally set it loose a long time ago and I never saw it again.”, Melissa sadly said.
“ That’s awful!”, Michaela gasped in horror.
“ Well what did you say was left?”, Mr. Landry asked.
“ Just a few bags with some of my clothes and my bed! And I still have my phone too which I’m thankful for!”, Melissa sadly said as she pulled her cell phone out of her pocket.
“ Oh yeah your dad would have been really dead if he had dared to touch that too!”, Amy said.
“ Yes well Leonard do you mind heading over to Melissa’s house, getting what’s left of her things and bring them here?”, Mr. Landry asked.
“ Sure Scott, I can do that. Howard, Raj, you guys coming or what?”, Leonard asked.
“ Yeah sure dude.”, Howard and Raj said as the 3 men started making their way out of the kitchen towards the front door.
“ Alright we’ll be back shortly.”, Leonard called out.
“ Ok but please be careful! Do not attempt to enter that house if Mr. Lakeston is there because you 3 are just going to get seriously hurt!”, Mr. Landry called out.
“ We’re on it Scott Landry!”, Howard called out.
“ Ok let’s just go you idiots!”, Raj hissed as the 3 of them left Mr. Landry’s house and got into Leonard’s car. Leonard then drove them over to the Lakeston house driving by in front of the house real slow to see if he could see any movement in the windows. When he didn’t see anything he parked the car on the street curb and the 3 men slowly approahed the house and began peering into all the windows to see if they could see any signs of Mr. Lakeston being there but as luck would have it he wasn’t there. As Leonard sucked on his inhaler Howard appeared around the side of the house and hissed, “ Leonard, Raj, back here!” They followed him around to the backside of the house where Melissa’s bedroom window was. Howard then removed the screen and the 3 of them climbed in standing on Melissa’s bed as they gasped in horror when they looked around the room at what they saw.
“ HOLY CRAP!”, Raj shrieked with wide eyes and a dropped open jaw.
“ What the fudgesack?! There’s almost virtually nothing left in here!”, Howard shrieked.
“ Yeah you’re telling me Howard! Melissa’s father really did throw her stuff away in the garbage! This is just completely sickening, I’m gonna go check out the rest of the house!”, Leonard shrieked shaking his head as he opened the bedroom door and walked out into the hallway while Howard and Raj continued to look around the room in disgust.
Mr. Landry’s house…
“ What am I going to do?! My life is in danger!”, Melissa cried into her hands after she finished her hot chocolate.
“ Well like I said you’re going to stay with me until we figure something out.”, Mr. Landry said in a serious tone.
“ Well Heavenly Father I think that’s what’s really best for this girl right now. That man is seriously an evil Satan’s apprentice for what he did.”, Mrs. Cooper said shaking her head.
“ Yeah he is!”, Michaela, Sheldon, Stuart, Mr. Landry, Penny, Amy, Meygan, Damien, Midge, Missy, Georgie, Meemaw and Michaela’s family said as they nodded their heads in agreement.
“ I’m just so exhausted now that I don’t even know what to do right now!”, Melissa cried. Dark circles began to form underneath her eyes as she sat there in the chair with her body starting to tremble a bit.
“ Well you know what I think you need a nap. Let’s go out to the couch.”, Mr. Landry said as he stood up and walked Melissa out to the living room. Melissa then crashed on the couch after a blanket was draped over her.

“ For god sakes! You got to be flipping kidding me!”, Leonard suddenly screamed when he entered the living room.
“ What is it Leonard?!”, Howard and Raj ran out into the living room to see what Leonard was screaming about after Raj had grabbed what was left of Melissa’s belongings off the floor in her bedroom closet. They gasped in horror at what they saw. There were millions of things thrown and stacked everywhere among the gazillion tiny glass shards all over the floor from at least 50 plus broken beer bottles. It looked like a combination of a hoarder house and a bar fight.
“ Dude this place looks like a hoarder house/bar fight!”, Raj screamed.
“ It looks like a tornado hit it is what it looks like! I can’t believe this girl has been living in this!”, Leonard screamed.
“ Yeah you’re telling me and it reeks of alcohol in here! Melissa sure wasn’t kidding when she said that her father threw beer bottles at her! There’s at least 50 plus of them, maybe even more!”, Howard screamed as he scrunched up his nose at the foul stench in the room.
“ Ok I so have to take pictures of this because this is absolutely dangerous, it’s a health and fire hazard waiting to happen! We shouldn’t even be in here!”, Leonard screamed as he immediately took his phone out of his pocket.
“ Yeah I totally agree dude! Take your pictures and let’s get out of here!”, Raj screamed. Leonard immediately started snapping a bunch of pictures of the entire inside of the house before they made their way back out through Melissa’s bedroom window, got back into Leonard’s car and drove back to Mr. Landry’s house. They quietly walked in when they noticed that Melissa was sleeping on the couch in the living room and set the rest of her stuff down before they walked back into the kitchen where everyone else was still at.
“ Ok… we got what was left of Melissa’s things but you guys will so not believe what the inside of that house looks like.”, Leonard said in a serious tone.
“ You looked around the house Leonard?”, Michaela asked in shock.
“ Oh yes I did Michaela and Howard and Raj did too!”, Leonard said in a serious tone.
“ Did you get pictures of what you saw?”, Sheldon asked.
“ Oh yeah I got a bunch of pictures Sheldon! You guys, take a look at these conditions!”, Leonard hissed as he showed the pictures that he took of the inside of Melissa’s house to everybody. They all gasped in horror at what they saw.
“ Dude that looks like a flippin’ hoarder house!”, Charlie hissed in shock.
“ Yeah you’re telling me! Melissa’s been living in that?!”, Evie shrieked.
“ Oh Lord in Heaven I think I’m going to be sick!”, Mrs. Cooper gasped in horror.
“ Yeah me too! I don’t even have the words to describe that!”, Mr. Landry shrieked.
“ Not only did it look like that but it reeked of alcohol in there! This guy seriously looks like he has a severe drinking problem!”, Howard shrieked as he pointed at the phone.
“ Ok yeah that’s it! She’s so not going back in there, no way no how!”, Michaela shrieked.
“ Yes I completely agree! In fact, someone call the police right now and have that man arrested! I want him arrested and thrown in jail for the rest of his life!”, Mr. Landry shrieked.
“ I’ll do it!”, Darby exclaimed as he took his phone out of his pocket.
“ Darby Elias Seemans!”, Aunt Martha hissed.
“ Shut it Aunt Martha! I’m doing the right thing!”, Darby shot back at his aunt as he then dialed 9-1-1 and put his phone to his ear. When he walked around the house talking to the 9-1-1 operator about what was going on they told him that they would send the police out there right away. Several police officers arrived moments later at the Lakeston house after the call was made and they surrounded the outside perimeter of the house with their guns drawn, waiting for Mr. Lakeston to return. When he finally did he was walking up to the porch with a half empty beer bottle in his hand when he was suddenly swarmed by the officers shouting at him, “ Freeze! Hands where we can see them now!”
“ What?! This is crap! Melissa you little bi*ch I’m gonna kill you for this! Get your butt out here now!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger as he took another sip of his beer.
“ She’s not in there you idiot she’s somewhere else right now and YOU are done, hands behind your back!”, one officer shouted as he roughly yanked Mr. Lakeston’s arms behind his back making him drop his beer bottle on the porch which smashed it into a million pieces.
“ What the f*ck is this?! Get your hands off me!”, Mr. Lakeston shouted in anger as the officer took his handcuffs out and slapped them on his wrists.
“ Shut up! Mr. Chuck Lakeston you are under arrest for charges of unsanitary home conditions and the abuse and neglect of your 17 year old daughter Melissa Cora Lakeston!”, the officer shouted as he was walking him to the squad car while reading the rest of his Miranda rights. A short time after the arrest the others were notified about it and they were relieved knowing that this guy would be locked up for life and wouldn’t be able to hurt anyone else ever again including Melissa. Then the next day as Melissa was waking up on the couch in Mr. Landry’s living room she began to smell something good coming from the kitchen so she walked in there to see Mr. Landry making breakfast at the stove. Her hair was all disheveled as it fell over her shoulders all over the place.
“ Good morning Melissa.”, Mr. Landry said with a smile.
