“ My mom assume Vesta was in the loft , but she had gone with Chloe to town”.

“Man talk about a shock for both of us”.

“ I remember her exact words”.

“ What are you doing up here?”

Clark tried to follow her.

Lana grabbed his shoulder.

“ Clark she needs some time to herself .

“ I know she does ,but I just want to comfort her”.

“ Clark we both are guilty of sheltering her, but this is a life lesson she need to come familiar with”.

“ It’s a shame her friend had to die so young”.

“ Lana she blames herself”.

“ What do you mean?”

“ She wanted to stop at Video City”.

“ She thinks I could of save December ,and her father if we hadn’t of stopped”.

“ She looked at him with concern in her eyes.

“Clark we both know it will take her sometime to adjust to not having her best friend”.

“ Thanks for being so understanding Lana”.

“ Your welcome, she looks at her watch.

“ I need to get going”.

“ Okay I’ll walked you to your car”.

“ I need to get her ready for bed”.
