Memory Lane
A week had passed by since Vesta had met Lana.
Clark had all the paper work legalized , and now Vesta was officially a Kent.
Clark was sitting at the table reading the news paper.
Lois was sitting next to him.
“ Lois you did a remarkable job on this story”.
“ Oh Smallville it was nothing”.
“ People just love reading about family reunion”.
“ By the way where is the newest member of the Kent family?” .
“ I really haven’t gotten a chance to talk to her, the other day I had to get back to work".
“ She went with Chloe to go shopping”.
“ Lana is going to meet them at the talon.”
“ Smallville you've taken to this dad thing quite well”.
“ I still find it hard to believe”.
“ Your soldiers must really pack a wallop”.
“ Lana was on one of the strongest prescription strength birth control pills”.
“ Oh just think if we would have went all the way at Oliver place".
“ I come from good genes”.
“ My grandmother Lane was more fertile than a crop of corn”.
Clark laughed.
“ Lois I believe things happen ,because they are destine too”.
“ If we would’ve made love,and a baby was the outcome everything would have work out”.
She smiled.

“ There will never be another one like Jonathan Kent".
“ I still remember the first day I met your father”.
“ He had a certain twinkle in his eyes that made you feel so relaxed around him”.

Lois eyes sparkled in the light.
“ Smallville see you won't have nothing to worry about”.
“ Your dad wrote the book on fatherhood, and your mother is top notch too”.
“ Lois my dad really liked you”.
“ He told me if he had a daughter he want her to be just like you even though your like a stubborn jack ass sometimes".

Her cell phone rings .
“ Hello, yes I’ll be there at 7pm”.
“ What was that about?”
“ The governor is giving an impromptu speech tonight , and the planet wants me to cover it”.
“ Jimmy is going to meet me there”.
“ Sound interesting”, said Clark getting up from the table .
“ Smallville I wish you were the one covering this story”.
“ I hate being around stuck up socialites”.
" Lois I'm really not that good".
“ Smallville you could cover a story about monkeys dancing in a zoo, and it would make front page”.
“ Lois I know how you feel”.
“ I hate stuck up socialites too”.
“ I need to get going tell your mother ,and the little pixie I’ll see them this weekend”.
