Authors Note Here: Now this morning after, you may think Leonard is being a bit of a jerk, but he's not, I'm just injecting some reality to the situation, even though he may love her, he's not going to wait in bed for her to wake up the next morning. Chapter 8: The Morning After

            Turning over Joules woke up to Leonard not in bed with her. “Where did he go?” she asked herself, turning back over and looking about the room, which was blurry, as she didn't have her glasses on. Pulling herself up she reached for her glasses on the bed side table, and pulling them to her face, put them on. Looking around the room, with her vision corrected, a rush of memories came to mind. “Oh my...” Her eyes grew wide with remembrance “Leonard and I had sex in here last night...” Her mouth cracking into a cocky grin, then thought “I hope he doesn't think any less of me...” the grin fading from her face, looking down at her hands, fidgeting with them. “Ah, oh well, if he enjoyed himself, that's all that matters. I know I did!” and she giggled to herself, while pushing herself off of his Flash bed sheets.

            Joules went around gathering her cloths and Penny's Jeans and chopsticks. Pulling her bag over to her once she had all of the clothing items she pulled out a second outfit that she had packed just in case this happened, which happened to be a pair of black underwear with “Error 404” printed on them and a pair of her own boot cut jeans, a black t-shirt that had the Horde symbol on the back from World of Warcraft and on the front “Afflicted Internally Eitrigg 2006 to Present” on it with the guilds symbol, two snakes intertwined with their heads in opposite directions that almost looked like they were trying to pull themselves apart above the lettering, with little bones and skulls outlining the seam that connected the sleeves to the body of the t-shirt, following down the seam that pulled the front and back of the shirt together, and down to the bottom to the hem of the shirt and put them on. Returning to her bag she folded her shirt from the night before and put it in the bag along with the Star Wars sweatshirt, and took the jeans and chopsticks in a separate compartment on the bag. Diving into her bag again, pulled out her make up, and did her eyeliner, and some eye make up, and put on some clear lip gloss, put it back in and pulled out a belt with a belt buckle in the shape of the Shaman symbol from World of Warcraft. She tried to find a mirror but found that there wasn't one in Leonard's room, so she zipped up her back pack threw it over her shoulder, put on her socks and black and white low cut converse sneakers, and exited the room.

            Tip toeing down to the bathroom, she shut herself inside as quickly and quietly as she could, and looked in the mirror. “I don't look half bad... I just need to do something with my hair...” Going back to her backpack she searched inside until she found two hair ties, and put her hair up in braided pig tails, looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. “Well, I approve, lets see if Leonard notices.” She zipped up her backpack and walked out of the bathroom and into the living room where Leonard and Sheldon were sitting on the couch watching Dr. Who. Sheldon was sitting in his spot on the the couch: the right cushion, while Leonard was sitting on the opposite left. Making sure she didn't disturb the whack-a-doodle scientist, she walked around the back of the couch, walked in front of Leonard and sat down to watch Dr. Who until a commercial.

            As soon as Joules walked in front of him he noticed that her shirt had the horde symbol on it and he rolled his eyes. “The horde! Wow... this girl is gutsy, wearing that in front of Alliance players! Then again, she doesn’t know we're Alliance... I may just have to surprise her...” as he closed his thought a wicked grin spread across his face. Just then Dr. Who came to a commercial.

            “Joules.” said Leonard “This is an Alliance only apartment.” he grind wickedly.

            “Too bad.” She replied. “Its going to be neutral territory now.” She smirked. Oh god, did Leonard want to wipe that smirk off of her beautiful face, and he knew just how to do it. He took his hand and placed it on her thigh, not close enough to the juncture between her crotch and her thigh but far away enough from her knee to wipe the smirk right off of her face. She glared at him, and turned to face him.

            “Leonard Hofstadter, I believe, that you are just going to have to deal with the fact that I love my Horde more than you're petty Alliance.” She grinned, but what Leonard didn't know that on Tyrulon she had a host of Alliance Characters, she just preferred the Horde to the Alliance. Then as she started to lean in to give Leonard a kiss she stopped short and shouted “Lok'tar Ogar! For the Horde!” and finished her kiss.

            Leonard was shocked, she mocked him, then kissed him all in one go. While it tempted him to get on to World of Warcraft and challenge her to some PVP. It also made him want to drag her back into his room and fuck her silly. It made him want to screw the rebellious streak out of her. Horde! Pah, he'd show her!

            “I'm just going to have to get more Horde memorabilia and really drive you wild.” She said, sticking out her tongue.

            “Will you two stop your adolescent grumbling! Dr. Who is going to be back on in a little bit and I don't want to miss any of it!” said Sheldon.

            “Sheldon, shut up!” said a voice that was neither Leonard's nor Joules, they turned towards the door, and there stood Penny, a gigantic smile on her face. As Joules and Penny's eyes met, Joules couldn't help but blush, because she knew Penny was going to drag her away and ask her details about last night. She could just feel it.

            “Joules! Do you wanna come over for some girl time? Since you spent the entire night with the guys?” Penny asked. Chalking one up to woman's intuition, she nodded and kissed Leonard on the cheek.

            “See you later, Alliance scum!” she said and gave him a wink.

            “Catch you later, Horde barbarian!” He replied and tried to give her a saucy look. Joules couldn't help it, she started giggling as the girls walked out the door. All Leonard could do, was look around to Sheldon who was watching Dr. Who and ask “What was so funny?”

            As soon as the girls sat down on Penny's teal couch, Penny pounced on Joules asking all sorts of questions.



            “What happened? Where did it happen? Who made the first move?” asked Penny all at once.



            “Jeeze! Slow down for half a second!” Joules stopped to giggle. “Well, to answer your first question. What happened was... I kicked the boys butts at Super Smash Brothers, and got Sheldon to shut his yap! The guys looked at me as though I was a goddess.” She beamed with pride, took a breath and continued “After Howard and Raj left, and Sheldon went to bed, Leonard and I had a very heated moment on the couch.” Penny's eyes widened at this news, and Joules continued her story. “Just to be interrupted by Sheldon, and he gave us a lecture based around this thing he called the 'room mate agreement?” Joules stopped and made a face and then continued. “Leonard and I then retreated from the living room, and he was going to give me some of his cloths to wear as pajamas...”

            “Wait, wait, wait!” Interrupts Penny. “I thought that you had your pajamas...?” asks Penny bemused. “I thought they were in your backpack when I helped you doll up yesterday?”

            “They were – I lied.” Joules said with a wink and a naughty look.

            “Oh!” exclaimed Penny, extending the “O” for a little bit.

            “Yeah, I wanted to get into his room, and I wanted to give him a bloody nose thinking about me being in his clothing. He was going to give me a pair of his boxers and a t-shirt, but before he could get them to me I accidentally bumped into him.” Joules said. Penny giggled and Joules continued. “Yes, well, we fell and the rest was history, the sexual tension we'd been building up the last three months just went boom!” said Joules.

            “Wow.... Holy Moly.... how about my second question? Where?” said Penny, wiggling her eyebrows.

            “Well, where, his bedroom – obviously. That one is answered!” She giggles.

            “Okay.... so who made the first move?” Asked Penny a second time.

            “So it really wasn't Leonard or I who made the first move, it was a mush of both of us, even though I started pushing the envelope first!” Joules and Penny start giggling afresh. All of the sudden there's a knock on the door, and they hear.

“Its Leonard!” through the door. Penny gets up and answerd the door.

“Yes? Would you like your girlfriend back?” asks Penny.

“Girlfriend? Um... I guess she's my girlfriend... we'd have to talk-”

“Leonard! Today! I'm getting old sitting here listening to your little monologue.” Interrupted Penny.

“Oh- heh- yes, yes I'd like Joules back.” He said pushing his black framed glasses up his nose.

“Well, too bad, I get her for a while, you can get her back later.” Said Penny.

“No, I want her now. JOULES?!” Yelled Leonard.

Joules hefted herself off Penny's teal couch and came over to the door.

“Hi Sweetie!” She sweetly waved from the door her pigtails swaying. “What's up?”

“Well, what's up is, Sheldon doesn't want to wait for a re-match, would you mind coming back over and kicking his ass again at Super Smash Brothers?” He asked as he shyly played with his fingers.

“No, We'll have to wait for Halo night, I want some girl time with Penny. As much as I love spending time with you Leonard, I need some girl time.” She smiled at him.

“Oh, okay...” he said looking disappointed. Joules turned to Penny and whispered “Give me a second with him out in the hall, and I should have all of this taken care of.”

Joules rolled her eyes and shut the door behind her as she and Leonard went out into the hall. He look Joules up and down from her auburn pigtails down her neck to her Horde t-shirt, from her boot cut jeans to her converse and thought “She's the perfect nerdy babe...” Joules started looking Leonard up and down, he had wore his usual jacket/sweat shirt combo, with a geeky shirt underneath, jeans and converse and he still looked gorgeous. “Yes, just-” He stopped.

“Just what?” Asked Joules.

“Don't get attached, I really like you, and if you got attached to Penny, I-I” he looked off to the side, at the Paneling around the bottom of the walls.

“I won't, and you don't have to worry about a broken heart. I really like you too Leonard, Penny is just a friend, and just someone I'm lusting over.” Joules walked over to Leonard and put her arms around his waist and gave him a hug, his arms surrounding her, then pulled back, and leaned up and kissed him.

“Okay.” Said Leonard. “Have fun, I'll be in my apartment.” he said and left her embrace and walked towards his door. Joules turned around and went back into Penny’s.

Walking through the door, she saw Penny sitting on the couch, tears in her eyes. She was hugging a pillow to her chest, her mascara running down her cheeks, the phone still in her hands from what Joules assumed was a very awful phone call.

“Are you okay? I leave to talk to Leonard for a minute and you're a mess! What happened?” Asked Joules.
