Archie arrived at the Penbrook, figuring out how to tell Hiram and Hermione that Veronica was missing. He nodded to Smithers, who let him into the apartment. "Mr. and Mrs. Lodge are in his office," Smithers said.
"Thank you, Smithers," Archie said with a smile. He hurried to Hiram's office. Hearing voices from the room, he knocked on the door. "Come in," Hiram said from the other side.
Archie took a deep breath and opened the door. "Oh, Archie, it's a surprise to see you," Hiram said as Archie walked to his desk. "Veronica isn't here," Hermione said, wondering why Archie was there as she stood up from her husband.
"Sorry to interrupt, Mr. and Mrs. Lodge," Archie said, biting his lip. "I came to tell you something." He said, swallowing, as he received the look Hiram usually gives everyone. "Go on," Hiram said, resting his chin on his hands.
Archie looked at them. "Veronica is missing," he said, trying not to back away from Hiram, whose eyes held a murderous look. "Are you sure?" Hermione asked. "She might just be with Cheryl and Josie, since she was planning to stay over there until tomorrow."
"I'm sure, because Cheryl and Josie are missing too," Archie said, explaining everything after they went to check on Veronica, Cheryl, and Josie at Thistle House. "Do you know who would have kidnapped our daughter?" Hermione asked Hiram.
Hiram shook his head. "Not immediately. I know a lot of people want payback, but they know what will happen if they try to hurt or kidnap my family," he said.
Archie nodded as he listened. A thought came to him, and he bit his lip. "Something the matter, Archie?" Hiram asked, looking at the redhead.
"I don't know if this is connected to Veronica's disappearance, but I've been followed the last few days by a hooded figure," Archie explained. "And it's not the Black Hood."
Hiram listened, closing his eyes to control his temper. "So you think this hooded figure might have taken Veronica?" Hermione asked.
"I think-" Archie began, but his phone interrupted him. He looked at Hiram, who nodded. "It's Veronica," Archie said, quickly answering. "Veronica?" He said, trying to sound calm.
Archie bit his lip as he put the phone on speaker. "Guess again, Andrews!" Nick's voice came from the other end, making Archie, Hiram, and Hermione tense up, a murderous look in all three of their eyes.
"Nick? How the hell..." Archie began, but Nick cut him off, "How did I get Ronnie's phone?" The boy with curly hair asked, laughing. "Easy, Veronica is with who she belongs to," he replied.
Archie squeezed his phone. "What the hell do you want?" he demanded, earning another laugh from Nick. "I'm just getting payback for all the things you and Ronnie did to me," he said.
"I want you to suffer for hitting me while both my legs were broken, and for taking my girl," Nick said. "And I want Ronnie to pay for making me look like a fool." He kept laughing as Archie growled, "Don't worry, I'll let Cheryl and Josie go, but Ronnie is mine!"
Archie took a deep breath as he looked at Hiram. Hiram was clenching his hands so tightly his knuckles were white. "Veronica isn't yours, let all three of them go!" Archie demanded.
Nick laughed on the other end. "I don't think I can let Veronica go, but I will send you a live video of her soon, and you'll see me making love to her."
"Don't you dare touch my daughter, or you'll be buried," Hiram threatened, making Nick laugh. "Oh, you went to tell Mr. Lodge, huh, Andrews?" Nick asked. "Can't get your girlfriend yourself?" He taunted.
Archie growled at Nick's words. "Shut up. I'll find where you have her, and I'll kick your ass," he said.
"You can threaten me all you want," Nick said. "It won't help free Ronnie. I guess you, Mr. Lodge, can watch too when I send the footage." Nick laughed as Hiram snarled. "We'll find you, and you'll regret ever coming to Riverdale!" Hiram threatened.
Nick laughed and hung up. Archie stared at his phone, clenching it in his hands. "Damn it!" he said, sitting down. "Can we track the call?" Hermione asked.
"Probably." Hiram said, getting up. "Archie, come with me." He said, and Archie followed. "We're going to make a plan."
- Veronica & Nick -
Veronica groaned as she slowly woke up. She heard the basement door open and footsteps coming down the stairs. She tried to pull her bloody wrists against her restraints, but they wouldn't budge.
"I wouldn't keep doing that, Ronnie," Nick said. Veronica opened her eyes and glared at him. He walked over with a tray in his hands. "You're cutting your wrists open," he said, setting the tray on the beat-up nightstand.
Veronica glared at him and scooted away as he sat down. "Now, don't be like that," Nick said with a smirk. He picked up a needle that had something in it. "What's in that!" Veronica demanded, trying to move away as much as she could.
"Oh, some aphrodisiac to help you relax. It'll also help me do what I want," Nick said. He grabbed her arm and pulled up her jacket enough to expose some skin. "Don't you dare!" Veronica hissed.
Nick laughed as he pressed the needle against her soft skin. "You don't have a choice, especially if I promise to let Cheryl and Josie go." He said, making Veronica pause. "Do you promise?" she asked.
"Of course. Tim and Mitch are already letting them go, so it's just you and me, Ronnie." Nick said. He pushed the needle in as Veronica relaxed and closed her eyes, and the drug entered her body.
Nick smirked as he pulled the empty needle out. "Good girl." He said, patting Veronica's cheek before picking up four straws of jingle jangle. "Now you can have some of this." He said, putting the straws to her lips.
Veronica wanted to fight, but her body wouldn't let her. She thought about Josie and Cheryl being free, so she opened her mouth so Nick could pour the powders into her throat. "My, aren't we being cooperative." Nick smirked as he dumped the rest of the jingle jangle down Veronica's throat.
Veronica only glared at him as she forced herself to swallow all the drugs, trying not to cough. "Good girl," Nick said, placing a kiss against her temple. "Oh, and the fun is going to start once I set up a little surprise for you," he whispered in her ear.
"I think you'll love it." Nick whispered as he undid Veronica's cuffs from her wrists. "While I get what I need, take your jacket and pants off," he said. Veronica rubbed her raw wrists. "And don't try to run, even if I don't think you will, because you know what will happen to your friends," Nick said.
Veronica nodded as she watched him leave the room. She started to take her jacket and pants off, biting her lip as she thought about what Nick had in mind, besides forcing her to have sex with him. She hated her body, which began to feel warm because of the drugs in her system.
"Forgive me, Archiekins," Veronica whispered, letting a few tears slide down her cheeks. "Forgive me, daddy," she whispered.
