Brian and Miranda are in a heated conversation about the dikes.

BRIAN: well, yea, but you really shouldn't have rushed in, I mean, you're still in highschool.

MIRANDA: and Desmond is going to spend the rest of the week here because his and my parents are friends, and they ent away for the weekend.

Lizzie and Gabe are watching this from the shadows. they and Miranda notice what Brian is leading to, and he and Miranda go upstairs to her room, while Lizzie and Gabe begin to have a talk themselves.
